Jessi’s Nail & Spa

This little place is a great addition to this Pico neighborhood. Spotless, tranquil, and pleasant surroundings with polite, and careful service. It’s easy to stop off after picking up coffee next door. My hunch is that Jessi’s Nail Spa will fill up quickly once more people know of its existence on this quiet corner. Convenient parking in the city lot behind the shop.

The salon was clean, the women working were all super friendly and nice. I came in for a basic mani-​pedi. The pedicure was wonderful and lasted weeks. The nails as usual chipped off in a couple days. For a basic mani-​pedi I paid $ 40 +tip. I do not think the salon is worth the price. The staff was wonderful, but I can go down the street and get the same service for $ 27. The prices were not clearly posted or I probably would have stuck to my usual spot.

I was so happy to finally see a nail place in town. I called to make an appointment for me and my mother, the woman said they do not take appointments it’s only walk in basis. I still decided to go since it’s around the corner from my house, I walk in its packed, it took about 3 minutes for them to acknowledge me and my mother as I’m standing right at the door. I asked for two fills and two pedicures, I was told they don’t do nails… I was very confused it’s a nail spa. She insisted I get a pedicure… um no I need nails and pedicure. I left very unhappy and will not return, I hope a new nail place opens in the area soon.

I’ll be completely honest — I was VERY excited to see this place open up. I truly wish I could leave a stellar 5-​star review like everyone else .
Jessi’s is brand new — everything is clean and very nice. The spa chair is comfy, the girls are amazingly sweet, and they have a good selection of colors. Appearances alone, this could easily be a 5-​star joint.
I had a full set with tips and pedicure and my friend had a gel color change. The pedicure was awesome, and the only thing that held up. I was losing nails less than a week in to it — not breaking, but full on just popping off after 5 days.
My friend had a gel polish change and within 3 – 4 days all of her color peeled off. She used an OPI color, which apparently has a tendency to do that.
They are more expensive than the other salons in the area, and while the girls are SUPER nice — I don’t think it’s worth paying double what Westdside Fancy Nails or Karen’s charges. Definitely not worth the price for chips, breaks and peeling nails.

Jessi’s Nail Salon is a fantastic addition to the community. Excellent customer service and attention to detail. Quality products. It’s next door to Food on Pico! You could have a mini spa and gourmet lunch.

Went in last Sunday with the boyfriend to get a pedicure. No prior appointment was made but we were able to be serviced right away. The store itself was very nice and tidy. I am kind of a neat freak and everything was up to par on my standards :)really liked the fact that, all the tools being used on customers, were properly taken care of and sanitized after each use. The pedicure chairs were clean and comfy and the employees seem to really enjoy their work and very friendly. There are several nail salons nearby in the neighborhood, but I highly recommend this nail shop! The boyfriend is satisfied and happy!

The best nail salon I’ve been to in LA. Really clean and great staff. They are super careful and paint nails very very well. I could not be happier to have discovered this gem of a place.

Quick service at this very new nail spa. I wasn’t expecting to stop here but the place caught my eye as I walking to FOOD. Pedicure looks perfect. I also got my eyebrows done. I had threaded 2 weeks ago and one side looked thinner than the other. So, I need that side to grow out and Tina was very mindful as she waxed and plucked them for a little better balance.

I came here for the first time today as it just opened yesterday. Very nice, clean, and welcoming salon. The owner was very kind and I was very pleased with the service. They just opened so I think there is still some interior work they are finalizing, but it can only get better! I will definitely be coming back here and recommending this place to my friends!
