They make your order pretty fast. I found this place a little pricey for sandwiches. The sandwiches are good. I didn’t find them to be extraordinary different than the other sandwich shops in the area. Also they don’t provide you with sides of anything even hot peppers. I was told it has to be added to the sandwich.

Unfortunately, i cannot endorse this location, or the chain for that matter. I got a Turkey Tom, and it was pathetically void of turkey. I mean, one thing slice on a sandwich that costs 6.45 is pathetic. it turned into a mayo and bread sandwich. pass. i’m done with JJ, and frankly surprised they have come this far. nice staff though, terrible sandwiches.

This is a new place I tried and… I am back! They are fast when you asked them for delivery! I love their TOTALLYTUNA, fresh ingredients, tasty flavors, crispy cucumbers! Everything you want for a great sandwich is here! Are you on a diet? how about the ‘UNWICH’?? any sandwich can be wrapped on lettuce for you to avoid the carbs from bread! Love this place and will continue to enjoy their ”mama approved gourmet ‘wichs’

Finally I found out one of my favorite sandwiches — jimmy john’s sandwich. Delicious and affordable. Thanks Tyler for for the mini jimmy’s sandwich …

Decent sandwiches here. Got the number one with ham and wasn’t disappointed. Maybe a little heavy on the Mayo. I wish they had more bread varieties like subway. Go here to fill the gap. It’s not bad, but not a destination place either. They deliver.

The bread is soft and tasty. There’s alot more Jimmy John’s back in Texas and Oklahoma. Eating the turkey brought back memories, when I was attending OU. Still pretty awesome, they made my sandwich super fast. My co-workers also really like the sandwiches here. It’s different than subways, a little more pricier but if you need a change, I would recommend jj!

They are fast! the food is all right. Kinda pricey but the food is all right. I do love the sauces and condiments i think thats what sets them apart. The sandwiches are on the small side as well. I have been here about 5 – 6 times. just wish it was a better deal.

My boyfriend had heard of this place and how it’s pretty popular especially in the midwest. There happens to be a location in Ktown so we’ve tried it a couple times. They offer a solid variety of sandwiches without being overwhelming. I’ve tried their #5 Vito sub which is an 8″ sub that comes with genoa salami, provolone, capicola, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and an Italian vinaigrette + if you want it spicy, you can request hot peppers. This was good, but the flavors are really strong from the peppers and the onions so bear that in mind. The second time, I decided to go more simple and got the Slim #5 which is just salami, capicola, and provolone. I enjoyed this one more because of its simplicity. The bread goes well with these sandwiches– good texture and flavor. I’m usually more of a hot sandwich person so that probably factors in to why I wasn’t crazy about these, but I will say they are a pretty good value(plain subs $ 5, specialty subs $ 7) so it’s a great option for when you’re feeling lazy and don’t want to eat fast food. Parking can be pretty bad, but they validate for the parking structure they’re connected to.

I ordered a vegetarian sandwich for delivery. When it arrived the lettuce on the sandwich was yellow and totally unappetizing. I called and asked to be refunded because I wasn’t going to be eating it and the«incoming store manager» said he upholds their policy to waste as little as possible. I asked him if it was important to make an appetizing sandwich and he said there’s nothing he could do. Never ordering from this jimmy johns again.

A very disappointed customer! Gave them another try as I loved JJ in the South but a little disappointing out west. I love they are fast but sat and inaccurate is useless. Lastly, I love the bread from JJ but when they fix your a sandwich with bread overlooked just takes away from it all. If I had ordered to eat in I would’ve asked to remake but i ordered to go and by the time I opened to eat I was long gone and left pissed.

I’m going to attempt to write this review as quick as it takes to get your sandwich at — whoops, time’s up, Jimmy John’s wins again. Fast food has a negative connotation, right? Well Jimmy John’s is out to disprove that. When you go to Subway, you have a bunch of options laid out in front of you. Bread, meat, cheese, toasted or not, veggies, spread… it doesn’t matter if it’s your fifth visit or five hundred and fifth, it takes way too long for you to order the same exact thing. And when you get stuck behind the guy who’s apparently never heard of bread before, forget it. Jimmy John’s has preselected sandwiches, about 18 to choose from. The bread is fresh, the meat is fresh and plentiful, the cheese tastes like it just got squeezed out of a cow, and you can still taste the blade on the veggies, they’s so fresh. What more could you want? Service? Thumbs up there too. I never wait longer than 60 seconds to order, I pay quickly, and I get my sandwich within 2 minutes. Am I bombarded with a bunch of fake smiles? No, but I don’t need that. I’m hungry, I want a delicious sandwich ASAP, I get that every time. Subway is 2 blocks away from my office, Jimmy John’s is a 10 minute drive. I still choose JJ the majority of the time. They’ve won me over.(Their chips and cookies are good, too. Get the BBQ and the chocolate chunk)

5 stars for what it is. A chain sandwich shop. This place is great. Light soft crisp sandwiches. I don’t have to choose the toppings. I name the sandwich and it’s ready in 2 minutes. Got the JJ Gargantuan(all the meats except bacon with mayo & vinagariette) sheet was bombbbbbb Love this place. And I get to eat outside. Winning

Came here for the first time and was amazed by two things — First, their speed. I special ordered my sandwich(no mayo, no onions), and they handed it to me fresh before I even had my wallet out. It was ridiculous, and extremely mysterious… Mysterious as in how the **** did they just do that? The second thing that impressed me was the bread. I am typically a hot sandwich guy, but their cold one tasted great. The bread was great for being cold, and probably the best sandwich bread I have tasted(at least compared to similar sandwich spots). I definitely plan to return and try out some more of their menu. Also, I plan to be even more specific with my order next time, just to see if the last time was a fluke. They do have a sign bragging about how fast they are, but what I witnessed was beyond fast.

When I peered into my refrigerator this morning for breakfast, there was nothing to eat. So, I decided to head over to Jimmy John’s for breakfast. The first time I ever tried Jimmy John’s was in Kentucky and I thought it was amazing. Fresh bread, veggies and meat! Who wouldn’t love that?!! I also feel like it tastes fresher than Subway. When I heard it was coming to Los Angeles, I was super excited. My usual sandwich is the Vito with hot peppers. Today, I decided to try the Turkey Tom with hot peppers. When I walked in, there was nobody there so I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. There is a seating area inside and 2 tables outside. But, because I looked like I just rolled out of bed(which I did. LOL), I took it to go. The sandwich was great, tasty and fresh. My only complaint is that sometimes the tomatoes doesn’t taste as fresh. Aside from that, welcome to Los Angeles, Jimmy John’s! The parking is kind of confusing. They have a structure, but it’s confusing to walk out of. Usually, I park on the street on Wilshire, but make sure to read the signs.

Yay, a new place to try out, woohoo! Definitely a returning favorite to try out the other ones. They are super fast! Ordered and within 5 mins, my order number was already called up. I got #14 — Bootleggers Club sandwich with chips and unsweetened black ice tea. Their online menu featured the Bootlegger on a thick toast like bread, but in essence, it’s all 8″ subs, and so you do get your money’s worth. It was delicious, fresh and meaty. The bread itself was soft and yummy. Loaded with hearty roast beef and turkey breast with fresh, thinly shredded lettuce and light mayo. Total was $ 10.48 — not too bad. At least now, I got another subway favorite alternate besides Subway and the Lil Korean Market(inside the Vermont Wilshire Metro plaza) that makes Boars Head subway.

Chi-town is famous for the most carb-alicious variety of food choices that includes everything from greasy-yet-amazing deep dish pizzas to unbelievable hot dogs, and of course juicy Italian beef sandwiches. Unfortunately, despite being founded in Chicago, Jimmy John’s sandwiches just do not live up to the epic taste sensations that Chicago is known for. So nope, this hillbilly-sounding sandwich transplant from the Midwest is not worth ruining your no-carb diet over nor is it worth spending your hard-earned money on. To begin with, there are a ton of better sandwich options in Southern California to choose from including that place with the #19 with Russian dressing a few blocks over. And since it’s «Sub-tember» I’ll even say that Jared’s place is tastier… errr toastier. The price is definitely not right here. I ended up ordering the #4 Turkey Tom. It consisted of an 8-inch sandwich($ 5.99) comprised of thin turkey breast slices, tomatoes, lettuce, and mayo in a French bread roll that was chewy. I added alfa alfa sprouts, which were complimentary. However, unbeknownst to me, by adding three pieces of lame provolone cheese I was charged an additional $ 0.75. I mean, what kind of turkey breast sandwich does not include cheese? Either way, after taxes it cost me $ 7.35… just for the sandwich! For less than $ 7.35 I could have gotten a double double meal from In-N-Out, some bomb-ass Mexican food, and even a $ 5 foot-long — that’s 4 more inches than Jimmy John’s. Unwrapping the Turkey Tom with sprouts and overpriced cheese, I instantly noticed that despite being advertised as 8 inches, like a pencil dick, the sandwich did not appear to be a «full» 8 inches and it lacked any girth. As I took bite after bite, I grew more and more pissed off at eating such a limp and overpriced sandwich that tasted more boring than white rice. It was bland and tasteless! Again, despite claiming to be 8 inches, due to the lack of girth and fixings, the Turkey Tom did not even fill me up! Maybe they should rename this abomination of a sandwich a freaking Tiny Tim. Therefore, unless you like getting«Jimmy’d» and«Johned» and enjoy eating overpriced and bland food, don’t even bother trying these shitty sandwiches. Like the Cubs, Jimmy John’s is definitely not a winner. More like a crooked wiener. Speaking of crookedness, if you go to their website they do not list the prices of their sandwiches. That is because they charge Californians MORE for the same Jimmy John crap sandwiches you can get elsewhere. But don’t take my word for it, place an order for pick-up in say Aurora, Illinois and it’s more than a buck cheaper. Bah. * This location needs to train their cashiers to notify customers of additional charges when they add something. * Jimmy John’s has a lame catchphrase that says«free smells». Honestly, screw«free smells», I want free cheese.
