UPDATE: I strongly recommend seeing Dr. Julie for your eye exam, not her associate Dr. Yoon at this office.
Dr. Julie called and apologized for my awful experience with Dr. Yoon. I would give Dr. Julie five stars. Not only because she was fair and reasonable this time handling my complaint, but also because I remember she was professional and courteous the last time I was seen by her.

As for my experience with Dr. Yoon, I waited over an hour to be seen on a Sunday 11÷08÷15 for a worthless prescription.
Dr. Yoon prescribed «Mozema» for my eye infection on a blue prescription note without her name & the DEA#. (Her writing is very clear; there is no chance of misinterpreting her writing)
First of all, the antibiotic eye drop i need is called «Moxeza», not «Mozema». Secondly, there are other generic, but she chose to prescribe a really expensive med ($ 118). And thirdly, I was denied of getting this med at CVS because her prescription was invalid without her own name and DEA# on the script. CVS tried to verify but the office was already closed for the day. So, i was stuck without any antibiotics.
Btw today on 11÷09÷15, I got two second doctors’ opinions that my symptoms do NOT indicate of a bacterial infection, but rather an allergic reaction.
I would give negative stars for Dr. Yoon. But, this is Dr. Julie’s office and it doesn’t seem fair to rate this office solely based on Dr. Yoon’s performance. So, i am changing my rating from one star to three stars.
Bottom line is unless you don’t mind long waiting time, mistakes on prescription, and wrong diagnosis, do avoid being seen my Dr. Yoon.
As for me, I will be going to another office.

Highly recommend this office! Professional & polite service that was also quite fast. The office takes walk-​ins only and I arrived around 5:00pm so there wasn’t a long wait. Inexpensive contacts/​glasses exam. Best part for me was getting a contact lens prescription that is good for 2 years, rather than just 1. Excellent experience overall!

Julie was really great. She was very professional and reasonably priced ($ 60 is very affordable). Her assistant was very sweet and professional as well. The exam was great and I got two free pairs of contacts to take home. I will definitely go back there and recommend her to friends.

Seems fine to me, though I think very few of us go to enough optometrists to know what might be truly excellent or standard. The wait was a slight bit long (thank God for the smartphone, right?), but this was one of the few places that wasn’t Lenscrafters and yet open on a Sunday, so that scores points in my books. For reference, the Lenscrafters in my area has a government warning on the door about price gouging.
$ 80 contact lens prescription (with astigmatism) exactly as stated over the phone, no tricks involved there, and the optometrist seemed friendly enough to entertain my questions. He was a bit hard on a girl who came probably 30 minutes before closing saying there just wasn’t enough time. I explained he knew he was already staying late and didn’t want to rush the people who came in before her to squeeze in another patient, which I think was fair, but heartbreaking too.

Julie is great! I always go to her to get my routine eye check up. She is always friendly and makes sure my eyes are in good health before giving me my prescription. I don’t understand the hate from the people below, the amount she charges is dirt cheap compared to any other optometry office. Optometrists usually charge over $ 100 for an eye screening and what Julie asks for doesn’t even come close to that. She is always polite and only charges her patients for her service for a very affordable price.

I’m not sure what’s wrong with the reviews below. I went to Julie to get a prescription for new glasses and contacts. She was extremely professional and polite and she even helped me fix my prescription! I guess it was prescribed too strong for me at the previous place I went to. The prices were completely reasonable and the service was quick and efficient. I’ll be back soon!
