Everyone must have a cheap Chinese food place on their list of musts. Food: The food is delicious and in huge portions! If you’re hungry get the two item plate. The teriyaki chicken is a must and you get a ridiculous amount of food. The pork ribs are the best thing that I get here, but it comes in smaller portions than the chicken. Price: It’s CHEAP! the two item combo comes out to under $ 7 or $ 8 after tax! One of the best bangs for your buck for sure! Wait time: No wait time! It’s kind of like Panda Express where the food is already made for you. You just tell them the combo and your items and you’re good to go! Tip: If you don’t want fried rice or chow mein, you can ask for white rice and they’ll get it for ou from the back.

Good food for a good price. $ 5 for a 1 item plate. Not much of a selection but food is tasty.

Came here on a whim after a brief work visit a couple months ago. It’s your typical Chinese fast food place with super greasy entrees and huge portions. The teriyaki chicken and chicken wings are the stars. I initially came back all the way here from the valley after news that the illustrious ok Chinese in eagle rock closed due to a vermin infestation lol this was the only place i knew that did the same style wings in the area in mass quantity. At $ 1/piece its steep. Flavor isn’t as great as ok and he wings aren’t as crispy. Plus they aren’t as generous with the party tray options. Doubt I’ll be back but it did suffice.

What A Dump! (W)oman at the counter charged $ 5.22 for a side of rice and chop suey. (H)ad I known that they’d inflate the price as a combo, I’d skip coming! (A) dreary and old restaurant with blue sun-bleached pictures. (T)his place looks it’s seen a lot of sunlight photo-degrading its pictures. (A)wful. (D)isparity of price was met with hostility from(D)iscourteous woman. (U)ltimately given two options: eat or leave after paying. I should have left. (M)ushy chop suey tasted like a can of cold vegetable soup without broth. ℗arts of the steamed rice were hard too! (!!)

As promised, the wings were good. I tried the fried rice and teriyaki chicken, both of which I was told were good, and it took much shchi racha to fix. Ok deal, but not rushing to get back there.

Either y’all are tripping, or somehow their low prices make the food taste better in your opinion. I just had some of the orange chicken and it was average at best. At BEST. Nothing to specifically come in here for and the pepper steak was BARELY that. Everything was orange: the chow mein, the fried rice, the fortune cookie… And they refused me chopsticks. What Chinese restaurant does that? FYI the food looked just like it did in the pictures that others have submitted above… People please expand your horizons. There are better places around. They were nice and friendly though. Two stars.

Good food. I especially like the teriyaki chicken. The price is cheap, just $ 4 for a good meal. I have been eating here for as long as I can remember.

not to die for food but it sure as hell hit the spot! great amount of food for the price you pay! its good, well cooked, and great quantity! most of the food is fresh since they cook by need, they never over cook so there isn’t food laying in the back or being preheated! =)

Always in search of a good chinese spot with orange chicken and beef and broccoli… This is not the spot just wasted $ 7 for a terrible meal.

I can’t really comment on the food or service since I haven’t been here in years. But the one time I did eat here, I found a fly in my food. I had taken the food to go and found it after eating several bites. I was sooo disgusted. I called to complain and they didn’t understand what the big deal was. This has left a lasting impression and I will NEVER come here again.

Update — they have a pork rib dish that you should get with white rice, ask for some of the sauce over the rice — its a fine dish The CHICKENWINGS are very, very good — dont hesitate to pick some up

OK, whaddya gonna do? It’s fast food Chinese Food. BUT, there is one very important redeeming quality that is big enough to warrant the 4 stars… You gotta try the CHICKENWINGS. I don’t know what they put in them, but they are unlike any other wings I’ve tasted. It’s crispy yet dipped in something sweet & a little spicy(I’m guessing honey, oranges & spicy pepper). I’ve ordered the chicken wings in Party Platters of 30+ pieces and they are ALWAYS a hit with the finnicky eaters(and it’s pretty cheap too, I’ve paid somewhere between $ 15-$ 17 for party platters). The trick is to order them when they’ve just fried them up or shortly thereafter(you can call them to pre-order). Everything else on the menu is OK, not bad but not great either(although their spicy shrimp with zucchini is really tasty with some steamed white rice).

I, being a Jew, have a fondness for Chinese food. Usually on Friday nights, and well anytime family is in town. Unfortunately with family not in town, and me not being a practicing Jew, I find myself wondering where i can get me some fast-food Chinese food. I know its not good for me, I know its possibly worse than McDonalds, but yet I persist. Having tried most of the places in Chinatown, and pu pu-ing them. I moved on to King Bowl which is located in a small shopping center near Alvarado. This place looks sketchy smells sketchy and is filled with sketchy people. Even the food looks sketchy. But in reality for fast-food chinese it was not half bad. Better than some and worse than others. The chow-mein was decent and not as starchy as some, the fried rice actually had flavor, and the orange chicken was not just sweet, it had a nice tang to it, which might or might not have been spoiled meat. I am embarrased but: «Hello my name is Aaron and I’m addicted to fast-food chinese food».
