The pizza is consistently good here, and tastes great the next day. But I was barely given enough parmesan cheese to spread generously over one slice of an 18″ pizza! :/

I order here at least twice a week and I am very satisfied with their service. I love the delivery guy who is always positive and jamming to tunes when he pulls up. They get my food to me fast and the quality for the price is great! I am so glad I can order from them when I am in a rush and need to eat in a hurry. This is definitely my go to spot for K town delivery. Thanks guys :)

I chose this place for pizza because of the great reviews and the close distance. Big mistake. I placed my order of a large pizza and was told it will be delivered within 45 minutes. Mind you, it’s only .6 miles away. After an hour of waiting I called for status and was told the guy is out delivering. I patiently wait another 15 minutes and call again. This time I was told that there was 6 pizzas ahead of mine and that there’s about an hour and half wait even though I was told it will only be 45 minutes. Don’t want to go on forever but I received my COLD pizza after a total of 1 hour and 40 minutes. I suggest another place if you want faster delivery and hot pizza. Very disappointed.

The White Mushroom pizza is heaven here, as well as the Garlic Knots. My kids prefer this pizza here over all the other ones. I also had the Boylon Ginger Ale soda and it was amazing. I like that you can eat it in.

Usually I don’t like to do pizza places, they’re always hit and miss. This one I’ll say was mostly a hit. Beer? Check, Tv? Check, parking? Shit! It’s K-Town what you expect? I’ll say get there at 650pm on a weekday and wait for 7pm on 6th St so you can park free at the meters. One block away don’t cry now it’s K-Town. When you walk in you can see pizzas on display where you can order by the slice for a fair price, big slices. Medium starts at $ 9 with a $ 1 per topping it’s good. Not many meat choices but still good enough to make your own or pick from the menu. Garlic knots ate tasty AF @4/$ 1 and served with marinara sauce, totally worth it. Now my beer was from the tap at $ 21 per pitcher it’s a little pricey, but they’re mostly craft so it’s about right. The PIZZA, medium double cheese and double pepperoni. A little greasy, the pepperoni was not as double as I would have liked but it packed a good taste and no after taste which is a win. The cheese was very thick and delicious good quality with just the right amount of crispness from the bread. I’ve been wanting to go back already and it’s only been since Kobe last game.

Loved this place. We were greeted by alex. She took good care of us. Then we were helped by bora who was also amazing. Totally coming back. We found a little gem in Koreatown

I’ve been coming here for about 3 years now I’d say. This isn’t going to be some BS review, I’m just gonna be straight forward. — Food is great, this is pizza folks, don’t expect any gourmet stuff, but, for this price point this is the best you’ll get for this price point. That’s kind of the whole concept behind NY pizza, it’s good, cheap and quick. — The delivery guy named Anthony is great, he’s probably dropped off here about 4 — 5 times so far. He’s always super nice, and he’s got a really nice vibe to him. Also his music choice is pretty good too lol. — They never forget when I ask for extra red pepper flakes, I literally live on red pepper flakes, I appreciate that KONY. I hope of the rest of ya’ll get Anthony as your delivery guy, super dope guy.

Good crispy pizza. I love their Hawaiian with added jalepenos. But please dont mop with heavily scented Fabulosa water while people are trying to eat!

My co workers kept telling me how good this place was and I was ehhhh. After a few tips here I must admit I’m a fan of their pizzas. Love the egg plant parmesan pizza. I always go knowing what I’m going to get then end up getting something else. They have a dine in lunch special which I wish we could take to go since I usually eat at my desk. Only real downside that bothers us is that when we get our salads, the person bringing out the salads usually has his/her finger in the bowl while they had it to us.

I loved KONY… I really did… but they’ve screwed me over a couple times now and I’m not a fan. The first time I ordered delivery, the food arrived an hour and forty-five minutes after I placed my order. Besides the food coming 45 min after an estimated 30 – 60 minutes, it arrived cold. After speaking with Eat24 a few times, I finally got some discount codes from Eat24… NOTKONY. I also have to mention that I live a few blocks away from the restaurant. Keep in mind, I placed this order outside of peak eating hours. I let that go, and tried again today. I place my order via Eat24. An hour and a half goes by before I lose my patience. I contact Eat24, they tell me that the food was sent out ten min ago. I wait… now 2 hours goes by. At this point, had the food been sent out when it has, it would arrive cold. I contact Eat24 again… KONY tells them that the manager is sending food out. Odd since I live so close. Two and a half hours goes by, Eat24 rep says that KONY realized they misplaced my order and is apologetic. They will send extras as well as discount. At this point I want my refund, but fine… we’ll see. They did say 20 – 25 mins tops. It’s already almost dinner time now. 3 hours goes by. It’s now 4:30PM. I get a call from Eat24. They tried contacting restaurant to see what’s up. People at KONY don’t know what he’s talking about. KONY is this how you do business? You guys that busy that you can’t send out a pie and some salad to a location a few blocks out? If that isn’t the case, then your current staff sucks. EDIT: It’s been nearly 13 hours since this debacle… I have yet to hear any apology from them. In fairness, the food is great if you go inside… but the whole delivery deal is a hassle. The fact that they lied twice without any recompense is terrible restaurant practice. Spread the word, perd!

Great slice of cheese pizza(pleasantly surprised, this hard to please New Yorker thinks), although it was a bit heavy on the oregano in the sauce. Chicken parm sub was OK, again, too much oregano in sauce and the chicken wasn’t super favorable or tender, but it did the job if you’re looking for a chicken parm fix in the hood. The bread wasn’t crispy but that happens with delivery. The green salad was great, fresh and good quality ingredients. Got delivery, took a long while.

Ordered a vegetarian. Came out missing olives and mushrooms. They should have taken it away and brought us a new, correct pizza, but instead said they would give us a discount. When we found out the discount was $ 1, they said it was because they brought us a side of cold olives. Had to fight to increase the discount. I feel bad for the waitress because she was the only one working the floor, but this policy is ridiculous. In all my time of serving at restaurants, all their policies are to correct wrong orders by replacing it with a correct version(+ sometimes a discount, and ALWAYS an apology from management). Never to just tack off random discounts. It’s a shame, we were really hoping this would be our neighborhood weekly pizza joint, but we won’t be coming back. NOTETOMANAGEMENT: Dont under-Staff your floor.(Have some of the to– go people or stockers help) Make sure your policies are good ones and that your employees know them and how to deal with problems. Force your lazy kitchen staff to prepare what’s ONTHEMENU. because it isn’t fair to your servers to deal with that, and its a good way to make your good servers quit real fast and customers never come back. The pizza was o.k. The garlic knots were hardened, reheated crap balls hidden in yummy garlic oil.

I’ve been walking by this incredible pizza place everyday for the past few weeks & never noticed it. I Love how convenient they are steps away from my office & quick to serve. I was invited after work for a happy hour beer with a few new friends & decided to get a slice of Chicken Parmesan pizza. I think I found my new favorite pizza, bumping Amici pizza in San Francisco out. They have a lunch special that I’m definitely going to try in the near future. I just wish I knew about the happy hour full size pizza for 50% off before having to head out to get pick up my daughters. I would have made that dinner for tonight. Maybe next time.

Overall it was okay. The delivery took a little longer than most pizza places. We ordered an 18″ BBQ chicken pizza and chicken parm with spaghetti. 1. The chicken parm was really dry and over cooked. The sauce definitely lacked flavor and the noodles were slightly mushy. 2. The BBQ chicken pizza was very good just a little too much cilantro but had a great taste. Will order the pizza again. But say no to the pasta

Crispy thin crust pizza. Located in the Ktown area of downtown LA. This is pretty good pizza. They also bring it out to your table and the service is a lot better than most pizza slice joints you go to. I got the bbq chicken and my friend got the meat lovers slice. I enjoyed the crispiness of the crust. The bbq wasn’t too much and they had my favorite garlic salt to sprinkle on. Recommendation: BBQ chicken pizza

Ohmygawd, I’m so f*%#in’ white. I’ve been dying to go to Koreatown for as long as I’ve been in LA and have never been(to my knowledge). I recently had a meeting on Wilshire and when it was over, mama was famished. Pulled up the Unilocal app and saw New York Pizzeria directly in front of me… and on my phone screen was the word«Koreatown.» I was like, «Hot damn, boyz and girrrlz, I’m here!» Not sure why the joint has tallied so many not-so-great reviews because I loved it. The inside is huge(upstairs/downstairs) with great ambiance, and the pizza was delish. Super-bummed they think it’s perfectly legal to charge NINEDOLLARS $$$$$$ for a small glass of Allagash, but I was so goddamn happy to be in K-town that I just shut my mouth and drank up. Going back next week and cannot wait!

Meatlovers pizza greasy and delicious. just the way i like it. Also got the bbq chicken. I’m not a bbq sauce fan so it was just okay. kind of too sweet for me. Their garlic knots are not garlic-y enough. Chicken wings are slightly over fried but I kind of liked it that way. Not sure if it’s worth $ 17 for 20 wings tho. It was 5 min past happy hour when they put the order in to their system so originally they didn’t make our items happy hour price but after asking them to do it for us they made the change«Just this one time». But I think that’s dumb because they took awhile to get to us since we’re on the 2nd floor it’s hard to get their attention and then they have to walk back down and etc so I think 5 min past would automatically be passed as happy hour. Service was mediocre Food was good. Good place to go with groups of friends.

(**FIRSTREVIEWOF2015, AYYYYYY**) I used to frequent this spot on a pretty consistent basis back when I was interning near K-Town…in my mind, KONY earns stars more for sheer convenience than for any real excellence in terms of quality/service. Like others have said, the soundtrack and vibe here is pretty much on-point. Expect to hear a steady mix consisting largely of 90’s hip-hop classics — think Snoop & Dre, Nate Dogg, the occasional G-Unit track, etc. KONY’s aesthetics go well with its musical accompaniments — in that the whole place has an urban, somewhat unpolished drive that suits its location. Unfortunately, the actual food sold here — which doesn’t live up the the«cool kid“character of the establishment — leaves some room for improvement. I’ve visited KONY on multiple occasions to pick up pizza for myself and for coworkers. The basic Cheese Pizza isn’t half bad; the crust has a nice crispness and cheese is provided in pretty generous portions. However, some of the more fun-sounding topping combinations turn out to be a letdown. For example, the Chicken Parmigiana Pizza sounds way better on paper than it actually is; the chicken itself is prepared a little bit towards the dry side, and you could easily argue that you’re basically just having chicken tender chunks sliced onto a cheese pizza. Similarly, KONY’s Spaghetti & Meatballs just isn’t up to par. The spaghetti sauce itself was way too watery for my taste, and was lacking in that pure, sweet tomato flavor that a real spaghetti sauce ought to have. After finishing my plate of food, I was a bit discouraged to see that there was a little bit of water remaining at the bottom of the pasta pile. Either the pasta itself wasn’t drained correctly, or the quality of the sauce itself needs some examination — especially at $ 10 an order. The Onion Rings at KONY were surprisingly tasty. They had a great crispy exterior, unlike the mushy, overly oily coating that plagues onion rings served at, say, bowling alleys, for example. They paired pretty well with accompaniments of BBQ& ranch sauces(and tasted even better when both sauces were combined… I swear!). Service ranges from awesome to lacking, depending on the mood of the staff. You won’t always be greeted upon entry(which admittedly kinda sucks), and it’s basically a flip of a coin as to whether your server will offer any more conversation beyond reading your order back to you. And certainly don’t expect them to go into any lengthy detail about explaining a pizza to you; it wasn’t much fun to hear a server reluctantly provide a one-word response — «Mushroom» — when asked about a particular variety that looked interesting to me. KONY saves itself from a 1-star rating due to its happy hour and the fact that the place’s abundance of TVs makes it easy to following your favorite sporting events with ease. It’s a particularly good place to visit during Thursday Night Football — being that you can combine KONY’s happy hour deals with some solid primetime NFL action. If you’re getting anxious, your hands are quivering, and your emotions seem to be going up & down uncontrollably(classic Pizza Withdrawal symptoms), then KONY will at least get you by. Otherwise, hold out and track down a more satisfying means of getting your fix.
