Let me start off by saying that I am not really a club person, but if the DJ is playing decent music and I’m a little tipsy, I’ll get down and have a good time. I came here with my girlfriend for one her friend’s birthdays. We had all been drinking for a bit when we got there and there were a decent amount of people dancing and drinking and what not. The music was not great in my opinion, but they played it loud. Both my girlfriend and I had to use the restroom when we got there so we went searching for them together. We found a single-person restroom just off the back staircase and me, being the gentleman that I am, let her go first. I waited a few minutes before I became concerned and knocked on the door. The music was so loud though, that it was useless. Then I noticed the handle rattling around, so I try to open the door. After lowering my shoulder, I got it open to find that my girlfriend had been trying to get out of there for a few minutes but the lock on the handle is broken. What’s worse is that I looked around the bathroom and there is vomit EVERYWHERE. On the floor, on the mirror, clogging the sink(which was running over), covering the toilet… And my lady was trapped in there! Having been to a few Hollywood clubs, I wasn’t really expecting a whole lot, but what the fuck. So gross.

Came here for a birthday on a Friday night. It’s located right above Beso, a tiny lounge. The atmosphere is great. Full bar, dj spinning all night & a stripper pole in the middle of the dance floor, what more could you ask for? Haha Upscale/Trendy, very unique. The décor is very modern & I absolutely loved it ! Guaranteed a good time ! Woohoo… check it out !

I come here literally every Saturday with my girls and it NEVER gets old! The atmosphere is upscale, and very chic, and the people usually are too. Great dancefloor with a pole in the middle that at any given time some drunk girl is showing off trying to be sexy. The music on Saturday is always great. John Lock is usually DJing, and mixing pop/dance for you. The guys at the door are so nice, and are very respectful. The bartenders are SONICE! Santiago makes the BEST drinks ever! There is a smoking patio which could use a few more chairs, but is usually very clean and nice.

Not a bad spot at all. The DJ was really good and kept the crowd going the whole night. Drinks can be a bit pricey but not out of the ordinary for a typical Hollywood spot. My biggest complaint is the bathrooms. They only had one unisex bathroom and the wait was crazy. I was expecting a bit more considering the bar is owned by Eva Longoria. Bottle service could also be handled a bit better. They basically have one long couch that wraps around the wall. They squeeze you into a tight spot with no separation between tables. Security kept telling people at various tables to not infringe upon another table’s space, which is pretty impossible with large groups. They should handle the situation better.

Came here for a friends birthday. The lounge is located upstairs above the Beso restaurant. We got there around 9:30ish, and waited in the bar area of the restaurant, which was spacious. It took forever for the bottle service to be ready upstairs in the lounge, I dont think we were up there until 11pm or later. The lounge itself is really small. They have bottle service seating and thats about it. The music was chill and the atmosphere of people I came with were cool. Saw a few drunky chicks doing the most, but overall its not a bad spot, just a bit small for my liking.

Apparently this place is called the Kiss Lounge even though I’ve always just called it Beso. Recently threw my birthday bash here compliments of my party planners from ItsMyFreakingBirthday. They arranged the table, had the party host walk us in and guaranteed a good time. And that we definitely did have. If you’re looking for a small, intimate setting but with a good DJ and plenty of Hollywood-esque characters to people watch. This may be the place for you. Just beware because they do pack the people in and the temperature rises like a Nelly song since it’s so full of people. For ladies, the bathrooms are upstairs off of the dance floor area but if you really need to go. Just head downstairs next to where you walk in and the bouncer will let you use the other one. It’s not as grimey as the one upstairs. Thank you DJ for arriving a tad bit late(or maybe our bus arrived a bit early) but it gave us more time to enjoy the partybus and cruise around. Cops linger outside but if you’re lucky so will the hot dog lady with the delish onions and bell peppers. Partyrock on my friends!

Great place before the young crowd came in… it was very tightly packed around midnight and tons of douche-bags seem to be there that night. The redeeming quality of the whole evening is that the bartender knew how to make a proper French martini.

I came here on a Saturday night for my cousin’s friends birthday. Of course, being a visitor, i was excited to be ANYWHERE new. It could have been because we were 5 provocatively, yet classy, dressed girls or it may have been because we knew the birthday boy(who happened to work there), but either way, it was easy as pie to enter; funny how a name could get you into places. The night was a big blur that left only pictures to show the level of fun we had. Oh, Tom Green and China in one place? it was like a washout rerun of Celebreality! The last picture was the one that determined this review for Kiss. What is it? My cousin in the ER after she«kissed» the floor in the ONE co-ed(ew) bathroom of Kiss, not due to a drunken imbalance, but because the granite floor was so slippery after the multiple people shaking their hands full of water and spilled drinks all over the ground. I wish they would put a slip guard and could handle the situation better than they did. be careful with those heels ladies!

I went to Kiss a couple weekends ago for a birthday. The birthday girl actually rented out the entire club so I guess I won’t be able to review the normal Kiss crowd, but the club itself was nice. Small, but nice. I can see why they would want to make it exclusive because as the night when on and the party got larger it started to get a little crowded. The club is above the restaurant, Beso. When you walk upstairs you’ll see the lone bar to the right, the dance floor straight ahead, and tables and benches all along the perimeter. I saw mention of a stripper pole in the center of the dance floor. That isn’t entirely accurate because it’s really a support beam but I’ve seen far less used successfully for a stripper pole so if you saw that and got your hopes up I’m not going to crush your dreams. The bar tenders were quick and poured some strong drinks although it was an open bar so they may have been a little more generous than usual. The only problem is that the Mexican bar tender was so short that I think he could only see the people that were actually right at the bar so he was missing anyone that was a step back and waiting to order. Since I’m 6’4″ and the bar was in between us the distance between my mouth and his ear was too far for him to hear so I just leaned over the bar and touched the bottle of Grey Goose what I wanted. In a cruel twist of irony he could barely reach the bottle I was touching myself although he was actually standing closer to it… Natural selection in it’s most primitive and cruel form… Needless to say he didn’t look my way the rest of the night. When I wasn’t ordering with Tatu I was dancing like no one was watching and loving like I’ve never had my heartbroken thanks to the DJ who put together a nice and steady mix. Overall I had a really good time and enjoyed the Kiss atmosphere.

Kiss, which I heard about from a promoter(Craig C.), suffers from the same affliction as any hot club in LA does. It’s pretentious and exclusive, but also classless. The attachment of Eva Longoria’s name was a black mark on its name from the beginning, and pretty much explains all of Kiss Lounge’s short-comings. Longoria is a top contender for biggest brand whore in the universe(her moronic French rapper/basketball player husband is cut from the same cloth) and it is pretty much assured that anything with her name is(like her) A) Cheesy, B) Pretty but devoid of substance, C) Self-Indulgent. That is Kiss to a T. The lounge is really nice, in a cheesy, club-of-the-minute kind of way. The bartenders and servers are pretty and young and can make pretty new-wave cocktails with weird juice ingredients, but can’t make a good Vodka Collins or a passable Perfect Manhattan. The girl patrons of the bar are attractive and«sexy» in a washed-out unsophisticated club-rat kind of way. The guy patrons are fun and flashy, in a trust fund, music-industry, flabby, but rich and young kind of way. I can’t say whether the un-ironic display of a stripper pole is awesome or gross. This isn’t Las Vegas guys! But then again I like it when ladies get drunk and act ridiculous. In the end, this is a fun place to go for dinner(Beso) and then drinks(Kiss) on Fridays, to people watch(mostly for the B/C list celebs who cruise these places for tail) and to hook up with some OC born hoochie. The funky drinks are fun to pick out, the bottle service isn’t totally unreasonable, and everyone is young and hip. But I would Never, Ever, come here regularly. The personalities and conversations here are as thick as a sheet of paper, the boobs are saggy, and the beer guts are all starting to show. So waste some money b4 this place becomes un-cool in about 2 months, then becomes infested with Persians, and then closes and becomes some new lounge.

Clearly the first review is from a bitter bitter girl. She dressed up «to the nines»??? If she was a nine, it wouldn’t matter what she was wearing. The game ain’t in your clothes hunny ;-) Now for the real review. Kiss is a lounge, so it’s small. It gets packed and somewhat uncomfortable at times. But if you go on the right night, you will find that it is filled with people that have fun and aren’t bitter at the world because a pretty boy doorman denied you even though there wasn’t a line!!! I recommend Tues, Fri, or Sat nights. all are hot nights, but you need to know someone and if you don’t…guys and girls who are 6’s dressing up as 9’s probably won’t get in!
