Quick and delicious teriyaki flavored dishes. It’s nothing fancy but I love getting it delivered to my office at least once a week through the RushOrder app. My usual is the #4 Yakiniku & Chicken Plate and a side order of Teriyaki Corn. But those corn run out really quickly if you order too late in the day. If anyone is feels like trying there’s a code to use on the app HUNGRY3 and you could get a couple bucks off.

There food is very tasteful and the portions are not overwhelming. I highly recommend this place. First time coming and I’m coming back for more!

I have been a fan of Kuishmbo since forever. Love the Yakuniku especially. The scallion sauce is great even if you aren’t eating the fish. The salmon is really good here to. Eat in or order and pick up. No delivery as far as I know. Parking lot has valet, but if you are picking up, just tell them and self park.

This place was so bad I could not wait before I left this establishment before I started this review. I’ll start with the cashier who was rude and worked extremely slowly/inefficiently. She seemed like she was angry to be there. I ordered the chicken teriyaki number 6 and the meat that came out were ¼ inch thin trips of rubber that were drowned in sauce that was too salty. My friends dish took 25 minutes. The place completely dead. If you think about your local shitty neighborhood chicken teriyaki spot this is the perfect example.

The restaurant I miss most when I’m on the road. Kuishimbo, I love you! Their cabbage salad has been an addiction since youth for me.

New addition to my take out places! I have tried their short ribs, grilled salmon entrees which come with rice and salad, plus a side dish of deep-fried sesame chicken with ponzu sauce. Their salad is pretty tasty which is a plus. The cabbage is very crisp and the dressing is appetizing. The meals here are not out of this world, but for the price they charge with the portion they give, you can’t really complain. Their to go menu says«You will always get your money’s worth.» and I agree with that, too: D

The food is just okay. I really thought that I would enjoy the food, but it just ended up being another restaurant to add to my «potential lunch hour» restaurants. The space is very small, so if you plan on coming with a large party, I would probably recommend going somewhere else, or ordering through RushOrder(promo code: HUNGRY3). It’s not that I wouldn’t eat again, it’s just that the experience and the food wasn’t anything to write home about.

Love their food and it is reasonably priced. Parking is tight though. It’s best to park around the corner(it’s metered parking). The place is small so I don’t recommend this for large groups.

I like this place. The food is good, it is quaint and authentic. It is tiny, so a crowd would be a problem. I go during the less crowded hours.

This place was just okay. I ordered the chicken teriyaki($ 6.99) and the spicy tuna roll($ 4.50). The food was okay, chicken was dry; totally to-go food. They charge 50 cents for drink refills. Essentially if you want quick Japanese food, this is the place for it. The place was practically empty. I remember this place from a couple of years back and it had better tasting food. On the plus side, this place looks way better and cleaner now. Will I go back, hmmm, most likely not. There’s plenty of other places to check out in k-town.

I must have been there on an off day. Ordered the chicken and it was just too tough to eat and the rice was cold. I will give this place another try in the future.

Been going here for years. I love everything on the menu — beef, chicken, or fish combo — all so delish! If you want to go light, get any of the fish dishes with the ginger sauce. The pickled salad is a must! Try it. The staff is friendly and fast. The price is very reasonable! For Japanese food, this place is hard to beat! Parking is OK most of the time.

This is one of my favorite places for teriyaki food. I suggest getting a combo so you can have the best of both worlds. Love their salad and the dressing that comes on it. One thing that kinda bugs me is asking for a bit more sauce and being charged. I think at $ 12.95 a plate they shouldn’t be stingy on a small amount of sauce. Not to mention the red ginger. Other than that, service is good and the food is tasty.

Not sure why this place is so well reviewed? It’s really just ok. I’ve eaten here a couple of times when it was a handy stop for teri chicken or short ribs. Tasty, in a standard way, but while there was a lot of rice included, portions were not generous on the meat front. Maybe the trick is to just bypass the medium and always order large? Small shredded salad was fine. A plus is the inclusion extra sauce when you’re getting stuff to go. Though their drink sizes are on the large side, they also charge .50 extra for refills, so just go ahead and get a large if you’re feeling thirsty.

My family and I have been coming here for many years, probably before I was born. The food today tastes as good as ever, with reasonably priced portions. Employees have always been very nice and have made every time a good experience. Highly recommend!

Kuishimbo was really good! Parking lot is small, and we parked there about 10 minutes before they brought out valet parking, but if you go around the block, you can just park in the back parking lot for free and avoid the valet parking charge. As for the food, it was very good! We didn’t know what to eat, so we decided to try this place out, and it’s just fresh meat, rice, and salad for a good price! I got a small order rather than a large, and it was still filling(I’m a sucker for cheap food with large portions). Japanese Chargrilled flavored BBQ chicken and teriyaki makes for a great combination with white rice and salad! It’s flavorful, the place is nice and clean, and it’s good food for a good price. If you’re a fan of teriyaki/chicken/beef, then try this place out! It’s really good!

Think L&L but a little pricier and less portions. It does come on a plate though haha. The quality of the meat is the same. I ordered the short rib and chicken combo large and it came with two short ribs and what looked like two chicken leg and thighs, rice and salad which actually had better salad dressing. It came out to $ 14 bucks total. Bottomline: Nothing special, small portions, above average pricing, good salad

I was a little concerned about coming here since I really like the spot on 6th. However, I was told that the cooks are the same and the food is the same quality as the other spot. They were right! I got my usual number 4… it tasted very delicious and did not disappoint. The parking situation at this location is actually a lot better than the other location. Also, the décor and ambience is nicer here. You get the usual amount of customers when you come here and the reason is the food is really good! I highly recommend this spot if you’re craving Japanese grill food and if you haven’t tried it I highly suggest that you do. The #4! Always so good, makes me hungry just thinking of it!
