La Estrella Mexican Food

The food tasted bland and not enough flavor. The service was good tho. I ordered the taco and sope and the bottom was just filled with boiled beans.

The food was delicious!!! I got one chicken taco, two asada tacos and one chicken sopes. The food was flavorful and fresh.
They gave me chips and extra sauce on the side.
They acknowledged me as soon as I walked up and the guy who took my order was very nice… which is always a plus
I’ll definitely eat there again

OMmnmmGGGGGggggg In heaven I want more but I’m too full! But for real these tacos come plain but you can add your toppings which was good and the topping all looked very fresh. I would go again for sure. The burrito is fire as well!

Soooooo freeeaaaakkinnnggg good! So flavorful and filling. Burritos very filling and only $ 5! Carne asada all the way! It’s a food truck so the food doesn’t take long to be ready at all. Will be coming back. The people there speak Spanish but they will get the point if you say keywords. There is always people around though is you need help communicating.

Stopped by today around noon. I ordered a couple items on their short menu. The guy that took my order was very helpful and polite. I ordered two tacos a carne Asada one, a al pastor taco, and a small portion of carne Asada nachos. Which were very delicious I wished the al pastor taco carried pineapple but I mean flavor wise it was good. What really caught my attention was the cleanliness around the taco truck you could tell the guys running the little business care for their business. I loved the food and service as well as the prices, I will definitely be returning again to try more items on their menu and I’m sure I won’t be disappointed.

Everyone says they know the best taco trunk in LA, but that can’t be because La Estrella is most definitely the best! I LOVE the shrimp tacos! I’ve also had the chicken and carne asada. The flavors are amazing, the area is clean and the customer service is always fantastic. I’ve sat and talked with Rigo on more than one occasion. He will make you feel like you’re family. If I haven’t made it clear… This place is the best!

As a cook of many restaurants I hate using this app. In fact I downloaded this app just for this review… So it should go without saying that this is a spot worth checking out.
AL pastor burrito is killer… Carne asada too.
We felt well fed after eating from Estrella.
So venture into the hood for some well executed Mexican food. You won’t be disappointed.

This is the best food truck I’ve ever eaten from… the Sopes de pastor are soooo damn good… I’m glad it’s so close to my house…

I’ve been to La Estrella many times and everytime I go I’m always pleased with the staffs friendly service and delicious food. In the past I would always purchase the asada burrito which is very delicious and well seasoned. Recently I decided to try their veggie burrito and I loved it. I would definitely recommend La Estrella Mexican Food truck to anyone who is looking to eat mexican food.

I am so happy they are here! My husband and I finally decided to try them out a few weeks ago and we’ve ordered here once to twice a week since then. They serve up great fish and asada tacos with great customer service!

Just staying down the street for a while and found this place! The guy took my order two days in a row and remembered both mine and my boyfriends orders perfectly including the soda! They’re all sweet and know what they’re doing, I’ll definitely be back!

This truck moving in has been a godsend. While I was happy having the other guys that are near, with the ability to go next door for taco truck, the quality wasn’t there.
Now it is thanks to these guys. Food is filling, delish, and I’m always satisfied with the tacos and burritos. The fries and nachos are good too, but a meal in themselves, and I end up not being able to enjoy as much.
If you’re near, get your taco truck on here.

This truck is a true gem. What’s unfortunate is that there’s another truck across the street with neon lights which is nowhere near as good as La Estrella. The next thing that is readily apparent is how classy the guys in the truck are. Just super nice and personable and they make you want to come back. Plus, honestly, the truck and the sitting area around it (whole tables instead of just the sidewalk!) are a lot neater than the other one.
Onto what matters, the food. Man, the food. I have been totally happy ordering an al pastor and asada burrito over and over again, and it’s hard to try anything else because I know those are so good. My wife gets the veggie burrito and swears by that too. I’ve told everyone I can to look for this one if you’re coming down Normandie as it is the best taco truck within a wide radius. Highly recommended. Go there and eat burritos!

They’re Carne Asada fries and Carne Asada Nachos are really good! And the red sauce they give, with the free corn chips is amazing! Love this place! Always order here now and they still take your order even if it’s a few mins before closing time.

This truck is amazing! The food is incredible, the service is outstanding, and what more do you need. Seriously some of if not THE best tacos I’ve ever had!

I usually frequent the gas station here and saw bright shiny black and chrome new truck with beautiful artwork on the side that caught my attention.
I stepped up to the window and ordered 2 tacos. I was amazed about the extreme cleanliness of this new food truck and how fresh my food was when I got it. The service provided was very friendly and satisfying. I’ve been there 3 times in one week so I guess you can say they got me hooked great job

If you’re looking for a quick bite to eat and want to try something different do their Cocktel de Cameron. They load it up with plenty of shrimp and avocado. The best!
