So let me just be honest with you all, I live down the street, Walked in one day because a shirt caught my eye & the name of this place was LASHES and Stilettoes. No lash tech so I pitched bringing in myself and my company offering the Mother Daughter duo(who owns this shop) a great opportunity to be a shop to be reckoned with, especially with the ideal location by the Grove. It was all great at first, they seemed so sweet until they realized how much money the lash business brought in and they became Greedy. Went back all all of our verbal agreements, they even went as far as trying to sabotage the clients. Let me explain; when I told them I wasn’t going to assist with their overhead(they cant afford which is why they’re never open when they say they are) so my client had been to ther salon before they performed the #EyelashExtension service on her and she never returned until I came along, with my great work which can be view via instagram @iAm_LashDiva …she loved me raved about how she was glad they were turning the shop around & then when I refused to give the mother daughter duo 50% of my service fees they called me an hour before the client was scheduled and told me they wouldn’t be needing me. Let me tell you the client still came to me, WHY? Because the work speaks for its self, greed doesn’t feed anything but the evil in your soul! ANYWAYS obviously this was a rant but I had to voice my opinion, women do not go here the mom is in her 70s and STILL in Aveda school & the daughter IDK if shes even certified but she does boot leg pedis and doesn’t know the first thing about manicures and especially acrylics. Even working there Id never let them perform any services on me.

Had a Groupon for a Gel Mani and Pedi. I really want to rate this place higher because the nail tech is super nice and the salon was cute and clean. But as soon as I got home I noticed that the mani was already about to chip and that the color was streaky and not properly applied. Three days in and there are serious chips on about half my digits. The color choices are limited. You don’t get any massage, there is no lotion involved and forget getting a foot scrub. No attention paid to my heels whatsoever — this is a very basic manicure and pedicure — no pedicure chairs just feet in a «bucket». I love the Netflix playing at the salon and again, the tech couldn’t have been nicer, but only a few days after my service and I need my nails done again. I just cannot recommend this salon for nails.

Went in for a Brazilian wax and came out 2 hrs later in horrific pain with glue and hair still in my service area. I usually get this service completed in about 15 minute start to finish. I attempted to look on groupon for a deal near me. It is the next day and my skin is hard(due to repetitive wax applications to the same place.) I did not reveal I was a licensed cosmetologist I have performed this service many times. It was all wrong The salon was nice, cute and clean. I only had the brazilian done and I will never return back to this location. The customer service was excellent the service was horrific. I hope they are able to send their esthetician to some classes to teach her how to wax properly.

I wasn’t going to write this. I called and left a message about my horrible experience, however, and they DIDNOTCALLMEBACK. You don’t care about your customers? Fine. Here you go. WORST brazilian wax I have ever had in my life. I’ll spare certain details because it’s a very personal procedure… But it took an HOUR. On average, these should take 15 minutes max! Seriously, ANHOUR of waxing one of the, if not the most, sensitive areas on my body. Most experienced estheticians will try to make it as quick as possible — knowing that it’s an uncomfortable process in general. NOTTHECASEHERE! Plus, she legitimately HURTME! Any seasoned esthetician knows you’re not supposed to repeatedly, repeatedly, repeatedly wax an area — but she would wax an area over, and over, and over again. When I finally asked her to please stop waxing a certain area, because I was reaching my typically high pain threshold, SHEDIDN’T LISTENTOME! Before I could stop her, she applied the wax again and kept going. Completely ignoring that I was in pain. I left feeling beat up and burnt with a small scrape/burn. The pain persisted for a few days after. So unless you want to experience the pain of a brazilian wax for 72 hours — AVOIDTHISPLACE. This is seriously lawsuit material, but who has time for that? Again, I’m not the type of person to typically write a negative review — but trust me girls, I’m doing this so you don’t have to experience the same torture I went through.

Outgoing voice mail message says they’re open Monday-Thursday 10 – 7. I went at 1:15 on Thursday, only to find them closed. Not a good way to run a business.

This was honestly the best time I’ve had getting a mani/pedi(except when I’m with friends). It felt like I was at family’s house, it was so comfy. I was greeted immediately and offered a beverage. They were a few episodes into season 2 of OITNB and they offered to start it from the beginning so that I catch up. And on top of that my gel mani and pedi look fantastic! Thank you ladies!
