The first time I have ever seen an intimate comfortable club/lounge like this is on the Island of Koh Samui Thailand, but it didn’t have the charm of Le Jardin. Cozy, intimate with the charm of France and the guest list of Hollywood. The first thought that comes to mind is a «Secret Garden», where you can meet someone you know or someone you don’t and possibly fulfill a fantasy or two. ;) This place is a wonderful respite from the usual places in Hollywood if for no other reason other than it’s very welcomed unpretentious atmosphere or hype. Unless you are a local, you might pass it up, which lends a Private Club feel. Where you can enjoy your favorite drinks(which you will need to control your heart’s palpitations) while looking, talking and meeting some of the best looking and ‘interesting’ people out on the tinsel town of Hollywood. Make no bones about it, it is not a huge place, not for the budget seeker or a night out on the cheap. It has a European feel and mindset that as the evening wears on and the place reaches capacity prices seem to rise to accommodate those looking for a refuge from the other local«Hollywood» clubs. It is an experience worth trying for yourself. Enjoy Mona mi!

Went there last night with a couple of my buddies we were in a great mood until the moment we walked up to the Doorman in front of the club. What an Asshole he was and he had a bad attitude. This bald Asshole with an accent arrogant cocky piece of trash probably $ 20 an hour employee should have some class an respect towards people. So I say F you I would hope the owner of the club would read this review.

(Disclaimer: ZEROSTARSFORLEJARDIN) This is my 1st negative review since I created this account 4 years ago. Never have I ever been so outraged that I felt the need to share my thoughts with the Unilocal world. As a blonde haired, blue-eyed California woman, I’ve been VERY fortunate to never have been the victim of racial profiling in Los Angeles… A promoter(we’ll call him Voldemort for this purpose of this review) encouraged me and 4 other friends to come to the club for table service as one of the lady’s birthday celebration. When we arrived, we were consistently cut and pushed back in line as regulars arrived in sky high mini skirts, fur coats and Mercedes G Wagons for at least an hour. Apparently, you needed to be from the likes of Shahs of Sunset to get into the venue tonight. Yes, now I am also profiling but why can’t we all be friends and party together?! Eventually, we were told they couldn’t let(2) of us into to the club due to our appearance. Say what!!! A birthday was ruined and 5 very sad Latina and white girls went home with severely bruised egos, a dampened view of the world and small internal flames of hatred toward Voldemort and the club staff. Never again. Please take your friends and money somewhere else if you’re looking to have a great time whilst free of judgement.

(Attended 01÷22÷16 F @ 7:00pm-10:00pm): This Hollywood secret garden was not so secret anymore! Friends and I arrived at Le Jardin as we celebrated the«2nd Annual National Hot Sauce Day» event. I’d heard about this event last year and loved my food hot and spicy as I always said«I want to burn my arse off!», so I was excited to attend this blazing affair. Would I consider a return for future special events!?: The Event: Organized by Tabanero Hot Sauce, in addition to their own hot sauce line they called upon other sponsors such as Chuao Chocolatier, Fireball Cinnamon Whisky , Jelly Belly, Poke Bar , Red Hots, and more for an evening of sampling, drinking, dancing, mingling, and if you signed your life away tastings of three different chilis that potentially burned holes through your colon or certainly wrecked havoc on your sphincter once it passed(one friend proudly completed the challenge)! It was a media affair with the obligatory step-and-repeat red carpet on a light news day . My main complaint was the lack of complimentary drink samples as the invitation made it sound like there would be. Various Cocktails($ 14.00×12) — From Jameson Irish Whiskey, Macallan 12-Year Whiskey, to a pineapple & rum cocktail all on the rocks, the pours were heavy, the ice was plentiful, and the prices were Hollywood high! I’d try to sneak a bottle in! Service — My posse was treated with respect by the young man who manned the General List line as we arrived early and waited more than 30 minutes after the supposed event start time before we were allowed in. A buxom Asian beauty named Carissa also kept us entertained outside. Once inside the attractive women who ran each bar were helpful albeit not as friendly. Those who ran the various vendor tables inside genuinely appeared to be happy as they chatted up people who grabbed food samples. Even the older gentleman who«worked» the men’s restroom had a happy buzz about himself. Overall, I had no issues with the service whatsoever. Parking($ 6.00 this instance; Varies) — They had their own small parking lot but had no idea whether they charged or not and if so how much. In addition, there were 2-hour limit metered parking along the main drags of Sunset Blvd. and Cahuenga Blvd., respectively. However, there were many restrictions so read all the signs carefully. Otherwise, there were numerous lots and parking structures in the surrounding vacinity with varying rates. We parked in a structure off of Ivar Ave. for a flat rate the entire evening. Atmosphere, décor, ambience — First off, the structure and entrance was non-descript with no business name in sight. Normally a spacious open-air lounge, a high tent covering was utilized for this particular event to protect from the potential cold elements. Two fanciful bars were found at either end of the building. There was a stage area where the DJ spun the tunes , a dance floor area directly in front of him where a spectacular fire-dancing show was performed by two gorgeous young ladies, and the rest of the floor was devoted to olive trees, heating lamps, plush booths and sofas as people mingled about . Like a club, it was all about the low dim electric lighting that lent itself for some illicit activities if you wished. I didn’t see any TVs, but the DJ controlled the knobs and turntable… excuse me, the play button on his laptop. Attire — «Dress to impress» was the name of the game, but I stopped trying to impress people years ago, so this meant business casual to me: long-sleeve button-down shirt, khakis, and a pair of brown Doc Martens… or basically a Banana Republic ad which was fine by me. Sadly, my creature comfort of a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops definitely wouldn’t fly here. Overall, Le Jardin itself was a pretty chill place, and I’d love to check it out during our hot summer nights without the tent. I shuddered to think what the rates were to host a special event since there were no prices on their website, but if the drink prices were any indications, I’d grab your ankles now. Their normal business hours varied from 9:00pm-2:00am Thursday-Saturday. I found good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above(TOTAL paid experience was around $ 175.00BEFORE tip). And, they accept my credit card of choice… AMEX! 3.0STARS

Very nice atmosphere but unfortunately we will never return since from what my fiancé tells me is a very rude and pushy restroom assistant. We left because she needed to use the restroom but would rather leave then have to argue with this lady who actually bangs on the door while your trying to use the stall… really? People can’t use the restroom in peace! Bottle service was slow for what you pay but the seating area was nice and had lots of room.

Loved! Loved! Loved! Adored everything about this place. Outdoor lounge seating, the bar, friendliness of the staff…& overall atmosphere. Drinks were excellently made & the bar tenders are super kind! Perfect place for a group who wants to lounge & have fun… or even a date night.

Be careful during the evening, as they pull some SHADY shit. I drove all the way from Newport Beach to what was supposed to a free event. The girl at the door states $ 150 bar tab plus tax and gratuity(bringing the total to $ 200) because they’re AT capacity… at 1 am. So you’re telling me that I can exceed the capacity(this is not legal of course) and get in for $ 200, and drink THAT much alcohol in what…45 minutes? AREYOUKIDDINGME??? I’ve been here before and it’s nice inside. Pulling shady shit like this at the door drops ALL stars.

This place is a fucking JOKE! AVOIDTHISESTABLISHMENT! Loyola law had a guest list provided until 11:30. Several students arrived at or before the cutoff mark and were refused entry. They were not given an opportunity to get in, or even pay cover, they were straight up refused entry. The bouncer here lives for the moment of refusing entry. He lives a sad, sad little life. Dozens of future attorneys were prepared to stop thousands of dollars at this bar tonight and were refused entry due to one pathetic little man’s ego. Additionally, we witnessed a patron assaulted by the bouncers FORNOREASON. A ~100 pound girl was tackled by bouncers for no reason other than hyperagression. Pathetic. Avoid this place at all costs. There’s no room in Hollywood for a club that thinks it is too cool for its customers. Fuck this place. Fuck the guy with the blue scarf that made a terrible business decision for this establishment.

Came here last night 12⁄4. When you first walk in, there was a blonde bartender at the bar on the left. My bf and I figured we’d get drinks from her. Not only did we wait forever to get drinks from her(we get it… she was sort of busy and wasn’t really going in order of who was at the bar first) but when she finally got to us, we ordered 4 jamesons. We gave her a 100 $ bill, and she gave us 20 $ back. I said«80 $ for 4 jamesons??» She said«It’s 16 $ a piece» so… she decided to give us the rest of our change. Odd that she short changed us AND spilled the whole drink all over us and had to remake it. Normally, I’d be in her defense and say she was slammed, but as a bartender myself, she was not slammed. She was just completely wasted. Which explains why she was such a spaz to even get to our order. Mind you, my boyfriend and I are both bartenders, so we aren’t shitty customers and we know to tip bartenders. I always read bad Unilocal reviews but it comes from customers that were assholes who don’t tip, ask for more alcohol and wonder why the bartender was a dick. But that’s besides the point. After that ordeal, we decided to go to the bar on the other side of Le Jardin in the back little room. We ordered 3 Jameson and it was 42 $. 14 $ for Jameson makes more sense. It just sucks to feel ripped off by the first bartender. But I guess the other bartenders can now thank her for«bringing in the tips»…and that’s if she’s not pocketing the customers change.

Note to anyone who gets bottle service: I would avoid getting a table here at all cost. I am a frequent high profile guest, not of Le Jardin(never again), but in general. The first(and last time) I attended this place was a disaster. Here’s why, and I challenge management to counter this. Of course they won’t because they’re inept, as evidenced by their general carelessness in general and on the night I attended. I came with 8 girls and 4 guys. The girl at the door, for some reason, gave me grief for having too many people. The girl at the front seemed like she was having an anxiety attack when I brought in 1 or 2 more girls. I don’t think she’s worked in the industry before. Surely they had so many top quality people inside that they couldn’t deal with me bringing a 2:1 ratio of girls to guys. Then I entered the place. You’ve got to be kidding me. It was about 95% guys! This is supposed to be Hollywood. Everyone knows that you let in as many girls as possible. You don’t give people shit, especially if they have a table, for bringing girls! This isn’t being pretentious, it’s just how the industry happens to work. Le Jardin is a clusterfuck, through and through. If you like your table to be occupied by 2 – 3 groups of people that are unaffiliated, this is the place for you. If you like a ratio of guys to girls of 5:1(literally), this is the place for you. If you like a waitress who comes by once every two hours, come to Le Jardin! I give it 2 – 3 months till the downhill LA spiral. I hope they fail and lose money in the process. It sucks because the layout and overall feel is really cool! Outside lounge/club concept is great and definitely unique. By far the biggest issue though is how this place is run. As mentioned, I had a table the other night and they pulled a very shady move. Specifically the waitress with the large horn rimmed glasses. She was convinced I ordered 4 bottles from her even though I didn’t talk to her that night. I ended up receiving 1 out of 4 bottles on the night!!! Is that the usual MO for this type of place? When I questioned them upon receiving the bill I got some ‘brush it under the table’ response. I would have put up more of a fight except we had come so late that it didn’t matter very much in the end anyway, I don’t think we could have finished the 3 bottles that never came but wow. Very low quality people working at Le Jardin obviously. I look forward to not getting a table there going forward. I’d be happy to reevaluate this position if I hear from management but judging by how things are run over there I doubt it — will update… Wish them luck. They’re going to need all they can get considering how shady they are.

Very cocky Frenchman at the door, not going back. I came with two girls and would not let me in. He also lied and claimed he didn’t know one of his promoters. Jerk

I love the Le Jardin lounge just ½ block south of the CNN building on Sunset. We celebrated a birthfday party with about 40 of us. We were well taken care of with the bottle service. The place is very nice because it is a huge outdoor space with trees, lights, bbq pits, large dance floor and pool-type furntiure. I really liked it… except the music could have been better… I really wasn’t moved to dance even though they had a great dance floor. Also, I wish the crowd was a bit better. The clientele is mid-range, but i’d prefer a higher-end crowd…

Probably the most fun I’ve had at a «night club» type place because it doesn’t feel like a night club. I love that it’s actually a large outdoor patio and feels more like a party in a beautiful backyard. Would definitely recommend, the music was also great and my friend and I loved coming here the night before Halloween.

Came here this past Sat night with a group of girlfriends & we had a blast. We loved the fact that it has an outdoor courtyard with firepits, trees & lights. Beautifully decorated. The DJ played techno all night that was fun to dance to but did feel a little monotonous after awhile. I guess it depends on how much you like techno. Was very crowded so you have to tolerate getting bumped into, drinks spilled on you & fighting your way to the bar for a $ 13 cocktail. But if your ok with that you’ll have fun. The crowd was mixed with lots of attractive people. This was a plus

Cool outdoor lounge, perfect for a Sunday afternoon. You can get up close and personal with your local DJ here and there is a decent amount of dance floor if you’re really trying to get down in the middle of the day(because, why not — you are basically at an outdoor club). Lots of comfy seating and open tables, which is a MAJOR plus. This day, a liter of sangria was $ 30. Great for sharing! The other drinks are pricey. It really does remind you of a garden with the décor(woody, trees/bushes, mini fountains) but with a nice sheek touch of the black and white furniture. Parking is street parking or at the CNN building for $ 10 or across the street at the LA Fitness area/Amoeba records for $ 12 if the CNN building is full.

Went on a Friday and there was a mixed crowd. Lots of good looking classy people. Service was cool but I guess depends who you know. Giovanni is the man. Had a bottle to share with my boy… Gotta say it was a good night. Good music good vibe. Will be back. If it’s kept classy, upper class, and limited I’ll be back!
