My yard was a tumbledown mess — it had potential, but I needed a lot of help to realize it. I found Leonardo and Live Earth Systems on line, and cannot believe my good fortune. He immediately understood my priorities, budget, and level of experience (which was basically zero). My yard required a great deal of clean-​up, plus hardscaping, irrigation, some electrical wiring, and then planting. Leonardo supervised the three separate crews who did all that work — he took care of all the scheduling and problem-​solving, and gave me regular updates. When one tree turned out to be not the variety we expected, he took care of replacing it. He recycled lots of plants and other materials, and was very aware of keeping water usage low. He educated me along the way about many aspects of gardening in Southern California. The results are amazing already. After only a couple of months, I have sunflowers as tall as I am, and soon I will enjoy a huge crop of tomatoes. Leonardo’s follow-​up has been amazing too — he is incredibly dedicated and still checks in regularly to make sure everything is thriving. This helps me gain confidence and feel secure in the investment I made. I would recommend Leonardo and Live Earth Systems wholeheartedly. You can be sure your budget will be managed responsibly, your wishes will be heard, and your yard will be beautiful.

They took the time to meet with me and develop a plan that incorporated my wishlist — but they really took it to the next level. Along the way they helped educate me on sustainable alternatives (such as pavers that allowed the rainwater to run off naturally versus a hard flat surface that trapped water) and suggested plants that, while being water-​wise, still provided just the right amount of privacy. They also added a water feature that improved the serenity of the space, turning my wasteland into an amazingly comfortable environment that I use daily.
