All in burger. Sweet potato crack fries. And I got the orange beer too, forgot what it’s called but it was a black and orange can. Guy at the register wearing a vest was very attentive. The burger just kept getting better after each bite. Crack fries were… like crack, addictive. I’m so happy i can walk to this place.

Burgers were fantastic. The Chef even comes around to see how things are and I tell ya, this place was amazing. The Waitress/Host that took our order was friendly and apparently has great taste in beer. Parking is a tad full at times but worth it. I also left my wallet behind with a lot of cash in it, the waitress was kind enough to hold it for me as well. Awesome Staff and Chef.

It’s located in a plaza with unrelated businesses. Mainly Korean owned businesses. Lot parking and I dont know about night time, but during the day, there is no valet. Simple set up, table seating & booth seating. You order at the counter/cashier. I think it was the owner that was working the day I went in and he recommended the«I’m All In» burger with fried egg as extra. Just do yourself a favor and get the I’m all in burger with fried egg as extra. Definitely order fries and a cold one if you’d like. They have some domestic & craft brew. Overall, solid burger. Juicy patty and great tasting. The bun held the burger really well(which is a plus) and just everything in the burger tasted. well, so good. The ketchup that comes with the burger/your order, is pretty good as well. I’m definitely coming back here for more in the future.

Credit where credit is due Place delivers. Awesome burgers. Insane sweet potato fries. Not much of a crinkle fries guy but seasoned on point, I would love to see real minced or chopped garlic on them. Beer is good but would love them on tap or bottle not cans Other than you can’t go wrong at this place Cool music and vibes

I’m not forced to write a reviews on this little tart however i just wanna express my resentment on the last time I came in, it’s around 1:50PM and I’m so hungry and badly needed food to eat but they wont let me in because it’s about to close in a few minutes. I really felt bad about it since its not my first time here, it used to be my favorite place. That time I didn’t insist but I want to let the management know how hurtful it is. I’m really disappointed. NO question about the food quality. I’m still coming back but hoping that it will not happen again.

So good! Went here today for dinner before a show at the wiltern and it was awesome. Food was on point, but the service was a tad slow. Other then that it was great!

Holy Crap! This place, nestled in the heart of Korea Town, is Ridiculous! I ordered the fried chicken and they delivered culinary genius! I wanted to stay simply to continue ordering and eating. The Beer selection was solid, they have ample Vegetarian options and the Service was fantastic. Put this place on your«To Do» list, you’ll thank me later. I will be back for sure!

Great addition to K town! I love TART and this is a really superb offshoot. The Cho dog was spicy and delicious. Huge portions and a great value. Modem Times Beers make it a match made in heaven.

This is the«im all in burger» with the lamb and egg dog + crisscross sweet potato fries(topped with peanuts and bbq bacon bits I think), thick garlic fries and pickle infused potatoe chips garnished with chives. PLUS I don’t know what is in it but the house ketchup will change your life

A friend was in town visiting and staying in K-town. So, I searched Unilocal for some ideas of where we could meet for lunch. I sent him a few links and he selected Little Tart. I was excited to try it because I’ve been a fan of Tart over by The Grove since before it got trendy :) I will say that the food was excellent, but I was disappointed that they’ve taken on the«no substitutions. have it our way or find some place else to eat approach». I wanted to go with the Tart Burger sans blue cheese — that option was a non-starter. So I went with the«I’m all in». I said«can I get that medium well» and he said«well, we cool medium rare to medium» and I responded«well, I hope it’s not too rare» with a sort of look like«I will NOT be happy». He replied«i’ll ask for it near the medium end»…but, I mean, I should not be made to feel guilty for wanting my burger fully cooked, seriously??? Anyway, Turns out it did get done medium, which was appreciated, and that it was actually delicious. My friend said his burger was great also, although now I can’t recall whether he ordered the American Way or the Tart Burger. Anyway, we also shared a side of sweet potato crack fries, which I found to be excellent. Then again, I have a serious sweet tooth, so sweet potato fries drizzled with honey are right up my alley :) My friend tried to order a «diet coke» and was met with«only coke, we don’t do diet here.» Then he tried to pay in cash and was met with«nope, we don’t do cash here, just credit.» I like that this place is in a strip mall with a parking lot — a real luxury in LA. The menu is small, but the food is excellent. I realize, putting limitations on menu variations help control quality and inventory, but, please, loosen up a bit. Without that bit of «we know best» attitude, I would certainly have noted 5 stars instead of 4 for the Little Tart.

In kind of a dead shopping center with a good location though. Was surprised it was not busy when I went on a tuesday night. Burger and Sausage were wonderful. Garlic Fries were nothing special and definitely not worth $ 6.

This place has thee most unique and delicious ketchup ever! And the burger was amazing perfectly executed they give you a really good amount of fries that are super good garlicky! The burger bun tasted freshly baked the the chef is very friendly and will answer any question you have! You got a nice open kitchen.

For some reason I have to feel really compelled to write a review even though I eat out all the time And I felt this was one of those times. I had mixed feelings about this place. It has the potential to be a really good restaurant but it lacked in some key areas. The burger I have to say was excellent! Really good flavor and great quality all around. The fried chicken was good but I found it not satisfying. The chicken could have used some salt and I didn’t love the spice they used but that was a personal preference but it genuinely lacked flavor even though there was a lot going on with it. I think a good fried chicken makes you keep wanting another bite but this wasn’t the case with this chicken. The garlic fries were absolutely pointless. I’ve had better fries from the freezer. It wasn’t crispy or hot and the garlic had a weird bitter taste. Also had the apple pie and I think with some tweaking it could be good. The filling was good but lacked a bit of acidity and the crust had good flavor but it needed some salt and the texture was a bit soggy. Ok this is where I found the most issue with this place, the service. I’m not sure but I believe it was the owner or the manager that take your order at the register and I felt like he couldn’t care less if I was there or not. Not rude but definitely not warm or friendly. We were only one of two customers there and after the food was delivered to the table he never came by to see if everything was ok or if we needed anything. He was busy talking to the chefs and I could tell it wasn’t even about the food or the restaurant. I had to walk up to ask for a to go box. The chef asked me how the food was and I politely smiled and said it was fine but I really wanted to tell them how I felt if it felt like like they genuinely cared. By that time we were the only customers there and they couldn’t be bothered to find out how everything was. My daughter was going to go with her friends next week but I’m not sure she wants go anymore. If they work on service and with some work on the food just a bit it could be a good place in ktown for something other than Korean food.

If you’re missing St Martha’s, then you may be pleased with this newest reincarnation in the same spot — Little Tart. K-town continues to go through its identity refresh with casual American eatery, Little Tart. The proprietors decided to keep the interior from before, but the menu has definitely gotten a rehaul. You order at the front desk from a chalkboard menu of burgers, sausages, fried chicken, sides, and canned beer/wine. The menu is just simple enough while giving everyone enough options. The Tart Burger — juicy 6oz patty, caramelized onions, bacon, blue cheese, mustard aioli on brioche bun — is delicious. It’s probably one of the top five burgers I’ve had in LA. The burger is a pleasing mélange of textures and flavors. I felt remiss that I shared half my burger because it was so good that I wanted it all to myself. The sweet potato crack fries are a wonderful counterpoint to the burger with bacon bits and maple syrup. If you’re ordering the fried chicken and still want a side, I’d counsel getting the garlic fries or something else that is savory so you don’t tire of the sweetness. The fried chicken is good. Even the breast was juicy the next day. It is half a chicken plus coleslaw so unless you’re Michael Phelps, you may only get through half your plate. I did tire from the sweetness though, from the spiced honey drizzle, and it didn’t help to have a heaping pile of sweet potato fries to get through. I am more of a hot sauce with fried chicken kind of guy so it could just be taste preferences. I really enjoyed my dinner at Little Tart and am looking forward to going back to try the sausage and perhaps repeat the burger. Lemme walk a few more blocks around my place first to burn off some calories…

So good! Loved the chicken, just like the other reviews said. But the burger was on point!!! I look forward to trying the sweet potato fries next time. Humble request though. Please never ever again play Creed. I’m dying right now. I’m pretty sure it’s sacrilegious to play Creed & have a hipster neon sign on the wall.

This is a nice little breath of fresh air in the neighborhood. A new quaint hipster spot was sorely needed in Koreatown. Let’s get to the food: — Fried chicken — crispy and hot with a sprinkle of peanuts on top, a bit on the sweet side but very good. The cole slaw was fresh and crisp, and balanced the heat of the chicken. The dish overall was a bit on the sweet side though and could use some more of an acidic bite. — Lamb and eggs sausage — The lamb was a bit dry, and the sausage could have used more tzatziki. The scrambled eggs were probably not needed. — Garlic crinkle cut fries — These were thick cut and good, the ketchup had a unique tang to it, that was quite good. — Canned wine — Actually pretty good. It got my friend nice and happy. Definitely a must try in the neighborhood.

Sweet Potato Crack Fries(7) are a must get and enough to share for 4 guys. Little Tart is gentrifying this Koreatown plaza which contains a traditional barbershop and other Korean-American businesses. The space is posh and the service is excellent, though it feels very out of place — but that’s the magic of LA. Parking is easy in this lot because the spaces are only competing with a sushi bar on the other end. All American(12) was ALMOST all American. I found it annoying that American cheese was +$ 1. If it were truly American it would be come with it. But it was a solid classic burger. The Tart Burger(12) is blue cheese heaven, but definitely needs some lubricant. A side of ketchup is sufficient. Fried Chicken(14) was overpriced. The skin was flavorful, but for this price it should come with more than just coleslaw. Great place to try if you’re in the area and will probably end up on «Places to eat in Koreatown» list written by an author who’s scared of Korean food(Beer Belly, Cassell’s Burgers, Biergarten are already on that list) Great option for people heading to the Wiltern for the evening.

Really, just come taste for yourselves. Think we had the«all in» burger and«dog’s bollocks» dog, with sweet potato CRACK fries, beer, wine, ya know, all the essentials. Didn’t take a pic of the chalkboard menu on the wall behind the order counter, so bear with me if I butchered the names. It’s a limited menu though, so you’ll figure it out. It means everything they do make is amazing. Hole in the wall in a Korearown strip mall. Casual menu with a foodie sensibility. Canned wine. No pretense. Already planning our return binge.

We had the Lamb and Eggs dog, the half fried chicken, garlic fries, «crack» fries, and wait for it, the can of wine! The Lamb and Eggs dog was pretty great, but definitely overshadowed by the half chicken. The chicken was perfectly fried, crispy, but not greasy. Also, I’m not sure what was in the batter, but they could make a killing boxing it up and selling it southerners. The surprising part was the coleslaw. It wasn’t the same«out of the tub» junk you get at other restaurants. It was made in house, and was a great compliment to the chicken. You can’t go wrong with the garlic fries, but the«crack» fries were the star of the show. Sweet potato waffle fries with lite drizzle of maple syrup and honey, topped with bacon crumbles and peanuts. Yes, bacon! Honestly, the best fries we have ever had. We were a little hesitant about the wine in a can, but it was actually good and fits right into the theme the owners have established at their restaurants and hotel. If you like Tart, you’re going to love its new born younger sibling, «Little Tart».
