I’ve eaten here a few times now and must say that the food is phenomenal for what it is. I’ve had the hummus, beets, cabbage salad and chicken so far and find it a little garlicky but full of flavor and delicious. This place however is only open a couple hours before and after lunch and does mostly catering so don’t think about coming for dinner. Everything is also pre made so don’t expect anything hot off the grill.

My work often cater’s lunch meetings from Lory’s and to be honest I dread those days. We usually get the rice, salad, hummas, chicken kabob, pita bread, and something which appears like ground beef reconstituted into a kabob. We also get several vegetarian plates which come with rice, salad, hummus and eggplant or falafal. The preparation is horrible. The chicken is always dry and inedible. The humus has no flavor. The salad is ok. Its not worth the calories. Most of the people in the room hate the food but eat it because there are no other options. Personally I refuse to eat it because it is so horrible and not worth the calories. This is unfortunate because I like Mediterranean food.

Lory’s is my new go-to when I’m at work! The food is delicious and healthy, the portions are big, and the prices are reasonable,…not to mention, the staff is so nice and friendly.

Ready to go, a cafeteria style and a good Armenian food is what they serve. They have kebabs, salads, all ready to go, yet they also serve buckwheat and real dolma, which isn’t something you get everywhere. Make sure to be there before lunch as those hospital employees nearby tend to clean up the place.

Every time I want to eat healthy this is my go to place. I work across the street at the Kaiser clinic and its perfect for my lunch time. Always fresh ingredients for salads and pretty affordable. I wish they stayed open longer, only open for walk-ins10am-2:30pm. «Lunch Restaurant» although I am pretty sure they’ll do delivery catering anytime. Friendly workers and you can feel that home made taste. Recommend to try the beef lula and greek salad plate Amazing!!!

I love this restaurant. The best Mediterranean food in town. Prices are reasonable too. Management is fabulous.

This is by far my favorite place to eat in the area. The food is always prepared fresh and so very delicious. The chicken is super juicy and tender and the salad is so fresh and crisp. I wish they could open up more locations, especially closer to home!!! Highly recommended!!!

Ok, so it helps that it’s close to work– but it’s also super healthy, fast and relatively inexpensive. The portions are pretty generous too. I always ask for the bigger salad(lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions) and then you can get 2 sides(assortment of hummus, grilled bell peppers in oil, rice, buckwheat, tabbouleh) and a half of pita(white or wheat) all for $ 8ish. I like the chicken kebab and my coworker likes the skewered ground chicken and meat combo. BTW– They only take credit card for $ 10 and more.

They are only open for about four hours a day but they have the best kabobs around. I always get the chicken platter.

3.5 stars Found this little hidden gem when I was interning at Kaiser Sunset. Many hospital employees frequent this place during lunch time, but I’m the first to review it! :D The food is laid out in cafeteria-like fashion, where you point at what you want, and they hand it to you on a paper plate. I got the grilled chicken and eggplant salad per recommendation by the lady in front of me in line. Both items were delish! The chicken was very moist and tender, and the eggplant salad was like nothing I’ve ever tasted. For both items + a peach Snapple, my total came out to ~7 bux .not too bad. Overall: not something I would drive out-of-my-way to, but for those who work at one of the many hospitals on Sunset Blvd, I would recommend ditching the hospital cafeteria food and giving this place a try.
