Loyola Shoe Repair was so helpful, quick, and easy. Other stores turned me away when I asked for a simple fix for a broken purse clasp, but Loyola Shoe repair fixed it within 5 minutes and did it for free. The staff was very nice and very helpful. I would highly recommend this place.

I brought my Gucci purse and a pair of Manolo heels. My purse was worn but it’s my favorite so I brought it in. Owner did an excellent job in bringing new life into it and so I decided then to bring in my heels to replace the heel. They look like new!!! Would definitely recommend!!!

I read the reviews and was a bit hesitant but this shop is close by so I gave it a shot. The shop has changed hands and the new guy does great work at a reasonable price. I have now had several pairs of shoes done there including having a gusset put in the calf of a pair of boots and I was quiet pleased with the results.

New owner, amazing work! Soooooooooo happy with the work he did. He made a belt and reconstructed 2 pairs of boots. Thank you :). I highly recommend this place.

I have been taking all my nice shoes to this tiny shop for 7 years now. Great work for decent prices.

I really wanted to love this shoe repair because it’s so close to where I live. But no such luck. I took a pair of heels in to replace the rubber tip on the heel. The first time I wore the shoes after the repair, the tip fell out and I had to walk the rest of the day on the heel without a tip, ruining the leather on the heel. I took the shoes back in to give him another chance(plus, I didn’t want to pay twice for the same repair). He was able to fix the leather on the heel so you couldn’t tell I had walked on it all day. Same issue the second time around — the tip fell out on the second wearing. I took the shoes back one more time, same issue. At this point, I’m going to have to break down and try another shop.

Would give this place ZERO stars if I could. I just moved from West Hollywood and needed a new shoe repair place on this side of town. I wish I would’ve Unilocaled this place before I went in. Lesson Learned. I gave him three pairs of shoes(one to re-sole, the two others needed new buckles). The first pair of shoes he only re-soled(if you call ‘taping’ rubber to the bottom of a shoe) an inch(the tip) of the shoes and charged me $ 30 for the shoddy job. Yeah, I could’ve done that and saved myself the time and money. Then he put new buckles on the other two pairs but the buckles didn’t match. Another $ 45 down the drain. Then I get home and try on the shoes(to see if the buckles work) and lo and behold-a buckle breaks. WTF. What did I just pay for?! I took it back and he acted like he was doing ME a favor by fixing his mistake. I just picked the shoe back up and it’s a different buckle without a buckle loop so the damn thing sticks out. He tells me he didn’t break it and isn’t going to fix it. I can look past the accent and poor translation-I can even look past the cash only-but dude… I just needed my shoes fixed and after returning to this store THREETIMES-I still have a shoe that I can’t wear. How is this place still in business?!

I will never go back to this place again. The Guy behind the counter doesn’t know what he’s doing, is rude and ripped me off. I needed one hole punched in my leather belt and in the past at other shoe repair stores, I’ve been charged a couple of dollars at the most to get a hole punched in a leather belt. This guy did it and charged me Five dollars for One hole punch and if that’s not bad enough he did it wrong– he used the wrong diameter punch and made too big of a hole– he messed up a simple hole punch job. It didn’t look like anyone actually goes to this rundown store so if you happen to stop in there be prepared to be ripped off and have your stuff destroyed. And if that’s not bad enough the guy is rude and has no customer service skills. This shoe repair store is best avoided.

Took a pair of expensive dress shoes with a heal that was coming off for repair. Made them look and function as good as new, decent price, and told me to bring them back anytime if I have any problems. Only annoying factor was no credit cards, but this is fairly common. To the reviewer with the one star who didn’t even set foot in this store, that is not a basis for leaving a bad rating. Was probably due to the language barrier. Will be back again to this store.. . there is a reason why Loyola Shoe Repair has been in business for 15 years.
