I truly do not know or understand how this man is still in business! It was literally one of the worst experiences I ever had in my life. From the second I tried to make an appointment here, Marc had a very arrogant and condescending tone. This turned me off obviously, but I had already purchased a groupon, so I decided to just go in and use it. When I finally went in, again I was greeted very rudely and asked him if I somehow offended him and where the nasty attitude was coming from. He immediately lost it and told me that he was refusing service to me and to get out! He even made a comment saying, he had already gotten paid through groupon so it didn’t matter if I left or not! I refused to leave, until I received my refund and waited there on the phone with groupon. Marc actually called the cops on me and locked the door! Needless to say the cops never showed up because this guy must be a total quack! If you look at the reviews on his previous page( ) you will see I am not the only one who had this same experience with him calling the police. This guy has a huge chip on his shoulder and no wonder that he has so many«deals» on groupon, pop-sugar, living social, etc.

I’m torn, because my first impression was deeply meh to awful. My thoughts within the first ten minutes were«Yeah I’d skip this place.» The location is in a really obscure place in weho that doesn’t offer parking. The parking for this place is at the chase next door, but only after 6 pm. Uh Kay. I find out later, it’s because the bank closes at 6, and you can no longer park on the street/side residential streets for free. I arrived around 545 pm for my 6pm appointment. Rang the bell once, then twice. Next thing I do I text the number that confirmed my appointment. And nothing. Exactly the way to do business love. And back in up the story, I purchased a gift certificate many many years ago and honestly forgot about it until I found it. I email and see if I could redeem it. Sure but it has be soon and a 20% gratuity is automatically included. Fine. Confirming and getting an appointment was easy. Now that I confirmed. Getting in another story. He gets here around 5:53 and asked if I was his 6pm. Yup. He’s like you didn’t wait that long — maybe a few minutes, especially since you waited three years. Oh he came pup in tow as well. Cute cute. Anyways, as he opens the door to the studio, I thought he has a gorgeous looking and smelling studio. I’m already somewhat rethinking my review. Yes, Marc is brash and may have a condescending tone. But it is all in the name of the products and machines he has and uses. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that many machines in one studio. I believe he used at least 5 machines on me(Hydrofacial, Opal, LED light, a massage, and another one). I do love his products — but just can’t commit — I have way too many products as we speak, but open to the future. Would I come back? I’m not too sure because it’s far and out of the way for me. Marc knows his field and really wants to assist with the skin. If you don’t mind his tone, he can really take your skin to another level. 20% automatic gratuity on his gift certificates.

Marc Edwards squandered the chance to convert me into a repeat customer with the condescending attitude he displayed throughout my entire facial treatment. Everything I told him about my current skin care, he used as ammunition in a barrage of patronizing digs. He proclaimed himself to be very passionate about his work — I kind of wished he’d keep quiet and let his work speak for itself. I do believe he’s very knowledgeable, gives good facials, and probably works hard at his small business. But I noticed his current prices are lower than on his website and he seemed pretty bitter that not enough people were lining up to receive the miracle of eternal youth from him on a monthly basis. He might want to consider that his own narcissism has something to do with it.
