I really liked this gallery. It’s on a unique warehousey little section of little Santa Monica, right near Wilshire. It’s two stories, and the second story is worth seeing also. The exhibit was very interesting and, as with all art shows, the crowd was just as interesting, very Bev Hills, very LA, very bohemian mixed with upscale funk. Some of the pieces were even reasonably priced!

Wrong address is listed by Unilocal. This is quite a shame because Seleyn is one of the most outstanding contemporary Art dealers in the entire Southern California region. By all means you should visit his studio, but first get the proper address by going to Google maps.

Before I went here, I didn’t know William Wegman made paintings that didn’t have his dog in them. I recommend Tom Knectel’s animal drawings and theatrical paintings. If you want to see Robert Mapplethorpe photographs, this is the place. Scott Treleaven’s watercolors are beautiful. This gallery represents James Casebere, Kristen Morgan and Lee Mullican.
