I was referred to Maryam and was told that once I meet her I will fall in love and never have the same skin again and that is exactly what happened. After spending a year trying to find the right facialist I have finally found a place I can call home. At my first appointment she spent a good amount of time evaluating my skin and getting to know what it’s like. I started out with bumpy skin and it is now left flawless. When I got engaged I began going twice a month– one appt for extractions and major work and the second for a facial she calls «Red carpet Glam». Her prices are very reasonable. I have put all my trust in her. I just lay down and let her work her magic. I also remember a week before my wedding I had very bad neck and jaw pain. I went to several doctors and no one could find out what was wrong. I went to Maryam for my facial and she found the knot in my neck and took care of it right away. I cried tears of relief that I could now open my jaw and enjoy the days before my wedding. Maryam is also great at checking in after the facial to make sure everything is perfect and my skin looks and feels good. She is a miracle worker. I am still getting used to people stopping me and telling me that I have GREAT skin.

Maryam is a mixture of facialist and miracle worker. When I go there the electro currency facials tighten my skin for weeks after. Along with microdermabrasion and pumpkin facials.
She knows just what I need when I come in and is fair in the prices she charges. Great location in Brentwood near Wholefoods. Free parking but give yourself time because the lot is crowded.

Went to Maryam for the first time yesterday and it was awesome! I was handled with such care and even got a same day facial appointment. I got a microdermabrasion (which was surprisingly super gentle), a mask and some extractions. I left feeling relaxed and informed! This is really close to UCLA and super convenient. I’ll definitely come back!

I have struggled with acne since I was a teenager and at 25, I felt like I had tried everything possible with no success. I thought I was just going to have to live with it. until I got a facial from Maryam. She has been amazing and completely changed my skin. Even after the first facial, I could tell a complete difference. I have gone back for regular facials every month and my skin keeps getting better! I only wish I had found her sooner! Maryam was great! I got a microdermabrasion facial and the experience was very positive. Granted, this was the 2^nd microderm I’ve ever gotten, but it was a much more luxurious experience than my other microderm, which was just done in a doctor’s office. Maryam evaluated my skin and asked me questions before the treatment started to figure out what products to use and the strength to set the machine at. It was a very calming experience and she asked about how I felt and my pain tolerance periodically throughout the hour. It was almost a spa like experience, with relaxing music and fluffy bathrobes, coffee and tea upon arrival too. The location was great, and Maryam was very accomodating with scheduling as well!

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Maryam! If I could, I would see her every week!
My first visit was back in December, after I had purchased a facial deal from Living Social and I have been back every 4 – 6 weeks since. I started going to Maryam a couple months before my wedding as I needed my mild recurring acne to go away. Within two treatments and a small effort to take some of her advice, no acne on my wedding day. Since then, I see her regularly because her treatments help my skin stay clear.
I’ve had some mediocre facials, those where you feel like you could buy the products and do it at home, or, even worse, those which cause you to break out because the esthetician doesn’t know what they’re doing. That is not the case with Maryam of Brentwood. Although her products are wonderful, she knows how to do the extractions correctly, unclogging your pores and leaving you with cleaner, healthier skin.

I’m 23 and my face still has bad acne and bumpy white heads all over. People like me don’t get facials to relax. We look like shit and 60min of smell good masks does not make anything better. However, 60min of torture extractions does make everything better. She does an amazing job of unclogging my pores and keeping my acne under control! She works hard to do the best job possible.

Once a month for the past seven years, I have gone to Maryam for a facial. I don’t miss it, I bounce up the stairs to her room, and I don’t let anyone else give me a facial. Maryam is skilled at what she does, uses the best products and provides a peaceful and relaxing environment in which you can just lay back and enjoy the hour with her leaving with your skin feeling clean, soft and healthy. This is Maryam’s own little business and the care she takes to do the best facials for her clients is what makes all the difference. For a long time it has been my special treat for myself and it will continue to be.

Maryam is the bomb! I walk out of her place looking 10 years younger! I started going to her when I purchased a Groupon coupon and was so impressed with the results that I bought a series of 12 treatments that I am now using twice a week. The music, aromatherapy and cleanliness of the room makes the experience even better. And I did mention that she is the sweetest, nicest, person you could ever meet? To get to her place fast, go north on Barrington Avenue, make a right hand turn at Darlington, just before San Vicente, and proceed directly into the parking lot, less than a block away, of the Town and County Plaza. Maryam will validate your ticket for two hours, so you can stop and have a snack afterward if you are in the mood. The only caveat: she is on the second floor and there is no elevator. Outside of that, everything is 10 stars!

I’ve been seeing Maryam since the beginning of the year regularly and my face is finally under control AND glowing. I really appreciate her telling me what the treatment is for and why before she proceeds.
