I used to go there for Taco Tuesday, had not gone there in a while went there recently to find the following: HOR-RI-BLE Taco Tuesday! Tuesday means all day or at least 8 hours not just four hours. Went there for lunch and ordered tacos was very disappointed when owner said Taco Tuesday is between 4pm and 8pm… What’s up with that? Why not just say«Taco Tuesday HOURS» instead of Taco Tuesday? Just think of the quantity of customers they would have at lunch time if they had a REALTACOTUESDAY.

I got the asada taco plate with rice and beans. The meat was tough, the beans and rice had a funny taste to them. But I was hungry so I ate it anyway. It gave me a stomach ache. Not to mention way too expensive 8 bux … Never again.

Just moved in the area this is my go to place for mexican food. We usually order heuvos rancho, sausage burrito, chips, salsa, guacolmole, ceviche, tacos beans & rice. All are great! Portion sizes are decent. I always get full before I can finish my meal. Everything is fresh &/or made to order. The rice & beans are yummy & perfect everytime. The service is always friendly. Don’t forget the horchata. They also sometimes have cantaloupe juice which is also very good.

Have not been to thIs for long time and I definitely see their improvement that the service speed is much faster, no longer eating off plastic thin plate, and food is still good.

Stopped here on the way to San Diego. Mr. Fish has huge portions, quality food, and low prices. Deserves more then 3 ½ stars. Places like Mr. Fish are hard to come by! Eat here if you want satisfaction

It’s got all the basics. Food is good but not GREAT, I would say average. The Chile Verde I had was pretty fatty. The chips are given in small amounts and the salsa is a little salty for my liking. The employees are very friendly and genuinely seem to care that you enjoy your food. It’s a type of place where you order and pay at the counter and then they bring you your food when its ready. Food seems to be freshly made.

This place is horrible don’t don’t don’t waste your money here!!! They over charge me with the sour cream, not to mentioned they over charge on a wet burrito that has no meat!!! Spoke to the owner Karla… she claimed they only serve 6oz of meat… however our burrito had no meat. The waitress handled the food with no gloves, she handled money, chips. pretty much she did everything. This place is horrible!!! Will not recommended it, not even for the FAMILYPET!!! Not to mentioned spotting a ROACH on the wall behind the Counter!!! Check your beans make sure they don’t have LEGS!!!

So delicious and right in the neighborhood. I looked on Unilocal this morning for a breakfast burrito spot and realized this place was right up the street so I stopped in. Burrito was totally fresh and large. Eggs, sausage and hash browns were cooked to perfection making for an excellent burrito. The price was great for what I got. 6 bucks. The only thing is they did not have orange juice. But the had a fresh salsa bar that had a lot of variety. Definite must try.

My husband and I love it here! We get dinner here every couple of weeks because it’s in our way home, quick, and delicious. The staff is always very attentive and kind. I would recommend this place to anyone who asked. Love it!

Came in for lunch before hitting Home Depot with some coworkers I ordered the lomo saltado which was surprisingly pretty good, although halfway down my meal on the booth that we were sitting in crawling around the wall came a big black cockroach it was maybe the size of a nickel maybe I’m exaggerating by saying big but doesn’t matter what the size of the feces it’s the point is there should be nothing crawling around your dining area this made me not eat my food and made me think bad of this restaurant I wonder what the kitchen looks like? The only reason they do earn this one star is for the nice and polite staff including the older Hispanic lady who was very nice. Never stepping foot in this place again, beware Unilocalers!

Came here for the first time. Left the gym and was going to stop by subway but found this place I went in and it was really good. I had a green burrito mojado Al pastor(too bad it had canned beans in it). The cashier a young Latina was awesome super friendly and very attentive and catered to everything. I felt as if I was at my Families house house(except my momma make real frijoles). I really enjoyed the family feel here. My first time but will definitely return to try out other things… bad thing is that it’s too damn close to the gym. Don’t want to stop after I work out but I just might have to.

Always come here for the carne asada fries and breakfast burritos. Hole in the wall kind of place, but it’s clean, cheap, and good. Staff is always nice too!

I just ordered some fish tacos, they were the worst ever. I’m sorry I didn’t take a pic to post so u guys could see. There was more tortilla and Cole slaw than anything. I couldn’t believe what i was seeing, I thought there was a mistake. So I spoke to the owner and she just told me «that’s how we make it». Wow!!! I will never return to this establishment. Can I put a negative star.

Ordered a plate of birria, very disappointed. Just compare my old pic of the birria plate I ordered with the one I ordered today. Pic speaks for itself. Only 4 measly little bits of birria. The taste of the sauce changed as well, still good but not as great as I had last been here.

This place has changed ownership three times in the last year and a half. Hopefully the new one is here to stay. The menu has not changed whatsoever. I work down the street on Slauson a few times a week and stop by here occasionally. It is standard, good Mexican food. You aren’t going to be blown away, but you will probably enjoy what you get. I like the chicken fajitas, they give you a pretty good portion of chicken with onions and peppers. The rice and beans are usually on point, but the rice can be dry sometimes. For nine bucks, the price is right. Salsa bar is fairly good. Restaurant is clean, parking is easy with a big parking lot next to the Home Depot. 3.5÷5 is about right. I would recommend coming here if you want some quick, cheap, good Mexican food.

This place was awful… I make this kind of food when I am desperate to eat at home, cheese tossed in a corn tortilla and under microwaved. How you can not melt cheese on and in a cheese enchilada shows me the cook here had a little to much tequila before he clocked in. The cheese is visibly un melted and cold… To serve a plate to your customer like this shows me the poor quality of this place. And the Salsa was dumped on cold, I don’t have anything good to say about this place. Only good thing about my visit was leaving. Very expensive for microwaveable food.

Service has changed. You’ll wait 15 minutes for mediocre tacos. Disappointing food and even more disappointing service. If you can’t keep up with orders hire more people. Tacos. 15 minutes!!!

Went here recently and must say it was delicious. I ordered the camarones a la diabla with a coke in a glass bottle, which for me is a major Plus if you have this available. The shrimp were spicy but soo yummy along with rice and beans and tortillas. Another great item were their mangoneadas. There were other antojitos, but I will get the Tostilocos the next time I come. Looking forward to that since many places don’t prepare these items. Location was overall very clean and great friendly service. Was happy to see a letter A grade in the front. Definitely coming back again.
