I recently discovered this cute store on Instagram (
) and loved every look that owner Whitney put together (she looks amazing in EVERYTHING!). Because I live in San Francisco and have not yet been able to visit Myrtle in person, this review is with regards to their webshop and the online purchasing experience.
I have made multiple purchases from their webshop (
) and all of my orders were shipped 2-​day shipping within hours (if not within the hour) of purchase. This is just the beginning of their incredible customer service.
I recently emailed Whitney to ask about sizing on a pair of Charlotte Stone sandals she had in stock to help me determine the right size to order. Additionally, because their website encourages people to email them directly if something they post can’t be found in the webshop, I asked if she would be restocking the sandals in white. Whitney responded right away to provide advice on sizing (she suggested a whole size larger than I would have ordered and she was totally right) and promised to check with her supplier to see if she could get me that size in white.
Two days later, I heard back from Whitney. She was unable to get the sandals in white, but she went to the trouble of finding exactly what I was looking for at another independent shop. She even sent me the direct link so all I had to do was click and buy.
Whitney didn’t have to do that, but that generous gesture earned her a new loyal Myrtle shopper! Can’t wait to visit this place in person during my next trip to LA.

This is such a lovely, well curated store and the gal working here went above and beyond to help me find the perfect dress to wear to a wedding. Quality goods without the condescension!

Myrtle is a super-​cute boutique on Sunset Blvd that stocks mainly independent, female designers (although there’s also a row of vintage clothes and some books/​stationery as well.) It’s definitely worth a visit!

I loved this amazing little boutique– the emphasis is on local talent, and the craftsmanship the pieces is impeccable. There’s a broad range of price points; truly special pieces will make you motivated to save up while affordable pieces won’t kill you if you’re in the mood for a special treat. I especially loved the jewelry. Each piece was both completely unique and completely wearable. In fact, everything looked flattering and wearable, which is rare in a boutique of this kind. Highly recommended!

Awesome small boutique which features local vintage designers as well from Portland and I forgot the other state. The owner is pleasant and is the only one working in the shop. A true small business one woman show. She also carries a nice selection of toiletries and accessories. It’s worth a visit if you are into handmade and vintage.

Very cute neighborhood boutique. The owner, Whitney, selects beautiful dresses and cute shirts by all female designers or female-​owned labels. She is usually in there herself working, so pop in and say hi! She stocks both vintage and new designs, and has a great jewelry selection as well. There’s even a small men’s assortment, including some unique men’s toiletries that smell wonderful! The store has only been open a few months, but is on the rise. She told me she will be expanding her line so to keep popping in and check out the new arrivals regularly. I appreciate that she also partners with some local food vendors (Matchbox Kitchen and Handsome Coffee Roasters) — delicious high quality LOCAL goods. My only reason for taking away one star is that I seemed to only see XS and S sizes available in the items I liked… but maybe I just need a late pass cuz the stuff I liked was so cute that the other sizes sold out before i got in there! Myrtle is definitely worth a look.
