Nail Time

This place is is horrible i went to get a full set and it was not done the way it was suppose to look it was a very rush job i called and went and spoke to tony to redo it my nails he and it worst DO NOT GO HERE

The women that work here are so sweet! They did a great job on my full set, and pedicure. If you’re impatient I wouldn’t recommend coming here. I’ve been to many nail salons in south LA, and most of the time they don’t communicate their going to step away to help someone else for a few minutes. You’ll have to understand they’re trying to cater to two to four customers at a time. So be patient! Come before 5pm! It gets packed towards closing hours. Definitely my favorite nail shop! I’ll be back in two weeks

Manicure: Let me add i went in w (2) broken nails, both bled when they broke. So I told the guy to be gentle. He was, on those two nails. He made me bleed through two others when he took acrylic off. Im sorry but didn’t you go to school for this shit? You should know how to remove acrylic wo harming me. Shape was shit too. No tip for youuuu
Pedicure: Did a good job, seeing I was distracted by my mani decided to scrub my feet for one second and massage them for even less. All she did was put lotion on. No tip for youuuu
Eyebrow: im confused why they even have a line for them. Double dip, gross. No tip for youuuu
Last I go there, had such high hopes.

Do not know how this place has 5 stars!
They cut my toe and asked them to stop and we’re still trying to charge me full price

1^st time here. I will be back. My nails are perfect (thank you Daniel) my feet however she could of painted them way better and took a little more time on them, hence the 4 stars.

I’ve been coming to this nail shop for years & they are so great, they always get the job done & have the best sense of humor !!! I recommend you check them out! great prices, great people!

This place is great. I was a bit nervous at first with how they were taking off my previous gel from a different shop and the fact they were using an electric file on my natural nails, but Maria made my new Gel Manicure look simply amazing! I will definitely be making this my permanent nail shop and will be asking for her again. If you are looking for quality inexpensive work, go here.

i love this shop the prices are right and the ladies are very nice! The gel manicure is great and last 2 weeks. I would recommend this spot.

If you are a young woman of color, save yourself the disappointment, drama, and offense of visiting this place. Spend your money in a place, where your business is not only wanted, but you are respected as a person.
Overall bad experience at Nail time. I went in to get a full service: full set, eyebrows, toe polish change, and even considered getting the eyelashes I see everyone wearing (I thought it might be fun). Nonetheless, this sweet lady named Emmie begins working on my feet, and a middle aged guy named «Tony» comes over to the station give me your hand you want full set right, so I said well yeah, but before we get started I would like to have a mask please (which I’ve always do when having any type acrylic or chemical treatment). He replied why you want mask (in a voice muffled by the mask on his face). I said I always wear a mask over my nose and mouth for acrylic, like you and the other people wearing one. He said no, we dont have mask for you, it got worse when I saw a bunch of new masks and said what about those, and he lied and said they already been used.
At that point «Tony» lost all credibility with me, and I said no no worries I will wait for my toes and leave, and he rolled his eyes and walked away. I could tell he felt guilty because I could see him trying to be extra nice to the other young women (by flirting and asking inappropriate questions ofcourse).
Another women said you want eyebrows and I told her no thank you I would be leaving after my toes were finished. At that point two little black boys asked to used their restroom and all technicians said in unison «NO!»
At that point I thought, wow I see you all don’t like «our people» but you want to objectify us, and take our money. Overall impression of Nail Time and their poor service, and racist behaviors… All I can say about Nail Time is «Two thumbs down and a Shame on you (in regards to Tony). :-(
