For a restaurant inside a hotel in the business district Noe was surprisingly good! We had a business dinner here with a party of 9, I recommend: Appetizers; scallops and their french onion soups are the winners. I would skip the sashimi Entrees: Black Cod, Salmon and Ribs were really good Service: Although we had a big party, service was prompt and always with a smile Ambiance: Good for business meetings as it’s quiet and bright inside Tip: Check in for a free appetizer!

We had family visiting and they wanted to have dinner at Noe. Since we read great things about the restaurant and its chef, we were excited to try it. The restaurant is located inside the Omni Hotel, easy to find. The atmosphere and the décor are very nice. Everyone is welcoming, the service is very good. Cute décor, classy, decent views. The food– well, I wasn’t impressed. The rolls from the house(w. butter) were good, the same with the sashimi from the house — which was excellent, probably the best part of the meal. The actual entrees lacked flavored and personality, that’s why my score is lower. And also, based on their high prices versus quality of the food. I got the pan seared salmon with rice(ordinary) and carrots(same) and curry coconut flavor. Well, I didn’t taste any coconut, the curry was so mild, couldn’t tell it was curry. I guess I expected something bold. My husband got the cured pork bolognese, which were fine, kinda greasy, and once again nothing spectacular. For dessert we shared a carrot cake(deconstructed), I can’t say it was anything special, far from it, kinda dry. We each got a glass of their red Bodegas Juan Gil wine from Murcia, Spain, pretty good. Their coffee is good and they serve it very elegantly. The food wasn’t bad, just ordinary. For the rave about the chef, their high prices and previous experiences at fusion French restaurants, I expected better.

I had my first kiss with the love of my life here in front of the fireplace. The staff was nice and food was great. Nothing really more I can say but its a great ambiance and a true romantic place. Skip the crappy Bonaventure as the Onmi does it right. Drinks, Great food, and great live music. Thank you.

Just had a marvelous dinner at Noe, on the outside patio, with a fire pit. The food was outstanding! The ribs were fall off the bone delicious, the Mac and Cheese, was the best I’ve ever had. The seared Salmon and scallops, were scrumptious and cooked perfectly. The hamburger, was fantastic. And to press our luck, as every dish scored a perfect 10, we had desert. Recommended by the waitress, we had the donut and hot chocolate. Let’s just say, it was a taste of heaven. I’d highly recommend Noe, for great food, a wonderful atmosphere and perfect ambiance. I’ll definitely be back!

Yes, yes, yes. From the sweet hostess to our excellent waiter Sterling, the service here was flawless. We sat at a window looking out on downtown, but you know what the real surprise was? The food is amazing at Noe. Whomever is crafting the dishes back there is really sharp and thoughtful. I started with the scallop appetizer — wow! Fresh ingredients and interesting combinations. Really delicious. My gentleman enjoyed his field greens salad; may I note that the tomatoes in it were sweet and not bitter? Again, just thoughtful food. We then moved on to the Bolognese(lots of it; tastes like Mom used to make) and the Salmon(another«wow» dish — with the fish being very light and crisp on the ends). I am petite, and must say that there wasn’t so much as a piece of scallion left on any of my plates. :) Prior to dinner, they start you off with a(good sized and very fairly priced) wine list, and warm, buttery dinner rolls. Following our meal, we indulged in raspberry sorbet. The bowl of sorbet was huge, but we still managed to finish it with our yummy bottle of 2012 Murphy-Goode Liar’s Dice. The restaurant was filled with much older couples(maybe because of particular shows around on that night), and, being in our 40s, we felt we brought the age bracket down. This makes for a very relaxing evening, and we really enjoyed ourselves. The staff is constantly going out of their way for the guests. You can just tell that it’s their goal to be welcoming and accommodating, and they are darn good at it. There is nothing stuffy about Noe. Our reservation was at 5:00(we arrived at 5:15 and they were still so nice) and we were trying to make an 8:00 show at the Disney concert hall. Allowing all of this time was actually perfect. There is also a lovely, large hotel bar area connected to Noe, if you are just in the mood for drinks and/or quick bites. The bar area is spacious, has a lot of seating options, and was«happening»(but not over-crowded) on this particular Friday evening. There was also a live pianist in the bar area. Overall, I’d say that Noe is a very well kept secret. We would definitely go again!

Wonderful and ambience. If you can’t get into the dining area, the lounge has great food too. I think you can order off the dinner menu too.

This place is underrated. It has solid food, a rotating menu, and a great staff. It is perfect for dinner before a show at the Walt Disney Concert Hall or the Music Center, or for happy hour. I can always get a table here even when Kendall’s or other places closer to the theaters are booked. Perhaps it is because people don’t know about it, or because it is in a hotel(and therefore people assume it’s not that good), or because it is a block or two away(depending on where you are going). Whatever the case, I am glad that I can always get a great, upscale dinner without stress or hassle. Highlights: — The appetizers are great. Try the beet salad or the scallops. — Any of the fish or meat main courses. I have never had one I did not like. The steak is a solid go-to, but try other stuff too. — They use fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice for the greyhound cocktail. The bar/lounge is fantastic. Highlights: — The inside is cozy and dimly lit. — The outside has plenty of seating and fire pits. You can listen to the summer concerts from here. — They usually have a live piano player, and the music is pumped into the restaurant — They always give a free bar snack; lately it has been homemade potato chips — The bar food is great, ranging from the healthy(salads and sashimi) to upscale traditional(popcorn chicken and truffle mac n’cheese)

I was super excited for my birthday dinner, especially because my friend kept the location a secret from me. I hadn’t really heard of Noe before so when we arrived, I just appreciated the restaurant’s location and beautiful décor. The hostess was very sweet when she greeted us and kept up a light conversation as she slake us to our table. Our waiter shortly appeared to welcome us and rattle off a few menu favorites and recommendations. He was more than helpful in helping my indecisive self decide on a few things. Honestly, I was very underwhelmed here and I thought that everything was going to be amazing(well, the service was). The highlight of my meal was probably the roasted tomato soup, which I ordered as an appetizer. My friend had the prime hand cut ribeye was I had difficulty chewing. The flavor wasn’t really there and the tenderness of the meat… Well. Meh. I had the Colorado lamb and I’m a HUGE fan of lamb. Most people don’t like it. And if it was my first time having lamb here, well I wouldn’t be a big fan of it either. I couldn’t cut it. I couldn’t chew what I could cut. It just wasn’t very good. I was rather disappointed. My dessert was also mediocre. I actually can’t even remember what it was. Maybe it was an off-day for the chef. Who knows. Service, A+. Food, C? D?

Staying at the Omni to go see the new Broad museum pretty much across the street. Found Noe inside the Omni that evening not only practical, but a fabulous find. Service was friendly all around(really, going out of their way to help) and superb food. The portions are small, yes, so the prices appear high, but my snapper poke and my husband’s gnocchis were top notch and filling. Anyway, we were not planning to keep a doggie bag in our room’s mini bar, right? The view from the restaurant was peaceful and grand. We went back the next night for more of their special Chilean menu! The Omni was great, and Noe on par.

Hm… if 100 year old heirloom salad for an amount I can’t even bring myself to admit I spent, fish that received acupuncture before being killed and jalapeño pepper crème brule sound appealing to you then by all means, make reservations now. Don’t wait. Personally, I could have had a much better meal for a lot less elsewhere, but it was an experience.

Yes, it is pricey, but you do pay for quality. The service was great, timely, welcoming. The food was tasty, fresh, memorable. I loved every morsel. We went for dinner to Noe’s on our last night in LA and it was a wonderful way to finish our stay.

Could not have asked for better service at this restaurant on a Saturday night. Brought the kids to MOCA for a coloring book signing and there was literally nothing available for dinner — 2 strikes before ending up at Noe and so glad we walked in. Party of 9(5 of them kids) and the staff was really prompt and attentive getting us a private table where we could relax and our kids would not disrupt the neighbors. Sterling was an awesome server who catered to every need. The mac and cheese was great and the new Chilean menu was fun to explore. The dishes were on par with what I’d expect on 3rd street or Beverly. We ordered sea bass and mussels, lamb and a bouillabaisse that was nicely balanced. The tres leches cake was a bit disappointing — more like a very moist sponge cake but other than that, I was totally pleased with the experience and would return with or without my kids. Sterling and Omni Noe Staff, thank you for making what could have been a sad evening at Subway an unforgettable culinary adventure.

So disappointed! My friends had come for a private tasting menu and they raved about how amazing the dishes were. Because of that, we decided to have my birthday dinner here, and it was so underwhelming. We started out with scallops, crab stuffed squash blossoms, and the foie gras mousse with fig, hibiscus, brioche, and pecans. The best was definitely the crab stuffed squash blossoms with creamed corn; the tempura batter really offset with the crab meat well, and it was nice and creamy. The foie gras mousse was definitely the best in terms of presentation, but the textures and the flavors were off. The mousse didn’t really go well with everything else, and the whole dish felt disconnected from each other. The scallops were good, but nothing out of the ordinary. For entrees, I got the 14 oz prime hand cut rib eye($ 45). At $ 45, I would expect the steak to be juicy and bursting of flavor, but I was wrong. The steak was chewy and not juicy(at least it wasn’t dry), and it tasted like a regular steak I can get anywhere. I was so unhappy with this dish. You can get a steak that is at least 10 times better at Mastros for the SAME price, which is really sad. My friend got the Seafood Bouillabaisse which was noticeably better but a little bit on the salty side. We also got a side of five cheese mac which was frankly, in my opinion the best dish I had all night. For dessert, I got the brown butter cake which I enjoyed. My friends all thought it was a little too sweet, but I liked it. My experience was very lackluster, and I regretted eating here for my birthday. I used to come here years ago, and it seems like the quality has only depreciated over the years. I will not be back(unless I have to).

A very nice restaurant in the Omni Hotel overlooking California Plaza. Service is prompt and attentive here. I think I could’ve filled up on bread if I really wanted to. We were seated inside but with a view of the patio area, which is nice. There was a candle to set some ambience at the table. The price is pretty high for what you get. The food is good but nothing too out of the ordinary. I got the seared scallops, bouillabaise, and lemon peach fruit tart. The scallops were tasty and not overcooked. The bouillabaise had a rich seafoody broth that was great with the toasted bread. The tart was a nice refreshing finish to the meal and not heavy. The food is well done overall. It’s always a nice touch when a chef from the kitchen comes out to check in on the guests.

This restaurant and bar is in the Omni. Bar is packed with top shelf bourbons, scotch, and gin. They even have Nolett’s gin, and I’m sipping on a shot of Blanton’s Bourbon as I type this. Best thing here though is the full time pianist. Great drinks and live legit music. It doesn’t get any better. If you live in so cal you should come here and stay at the Omni for your stay-cation

The ambiance was amazing from the moment you enter and Walk through the lounge area and into the outdoor patio that strikes a pose directly at the high rise buildings of downtown LA! The server and staff were amazing. Their house aged whisky was a phenomenal compliment to the The Ribeye steak and Duck Confit, which was by far the best combo ever! I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great, relaxed atmosphere on a Sunday night. Perfect Date Night spot and also a great intimate hangout with group of friends. Looking forward to coming. The restaurant manager Dexter was very Courteous and friendly to out entire party, who checked up on us every so often.

Great food, service, and ambience. We came here for an intimate birthday dinner on a Saturday night. Service was excellent from beginning to end. I ordered the sea bass, and it was delicious. Cooked and prepared to perfection. My friends also ordered the steak, duck, and a dish that tasted like a bouillabaisse(don’t remember the name of the dish). It seems like the menu changes pretty often, but I think its safe to say that their food in general is above average. The cocktails and desserts are excellent as well. After dessert we asked our server if he could move us outside so we could enjoy the view and a few more drinks and cigars(both of which are included on the menu). The outdoor seating was comfortable, and the fire pit kept us warm. I recommend this restaurant for small gathering and celebrations.

Tried NOE for dine LA week and had a pleasant experience. Loved the outdoor seating with fire pits and amazing view of dtla. Food– had fish for dinner and was a bit dry but the sauce they poured over the fish was amazing. The texture of the fish was dry! I enjoyed my tempura squash appetizer a lot! Flavorful and tasty:) Overall experience was nice. Waitress was pleasant and kinda awkward. Restaurant was kinda empty and just not my scene. Location was perfection!

A friend and I came here for dinner and had a fantastic experience! FOOD: It’s okay. For the price I’ve had much better food. Opt for a seafood dish because I found that their seafood menu is generally better. SERVICE: Fantastic. My friend and I went to the bar after dinner and the waiters were more than accommodating. Then we decided to go outside and seat in the patio and the waiters wade sure we were comfortable with our table. And when we asked for the heater to be turned on, they came to turn on the heater and when the my realized the heater broke, they kindly helped us move to another seat with a patio and a better view. PARKING: hotel parking with validation or street park. BAR: They have a decent variety of wine, cocktail, and beer. AMBIANCE: It’s absolutely stunning. Inside the décor is gorgeous and quiet. It’s also a good place to come with your laptop and get some work done. The patio area has a gorgeous view of downtown and they have spacious seating that can accommodate up to like 15 people. It’s really quiet and a great date or meeting location. DESSERT: My friend and I tried every single item on the dessert menu on one setting and everything was good. It was better than the entrée

Came here for DineLA couple days ago, and I was very impressed with both the décor and the food at Noe. This restaurant really knows how to work with their proteins! We ordered: 1) DUCKCONFITON A GERMANPANCAKE: This dish was amazing, and I was really happy it was included on the DineLA menu. The duck had a nice crispy skin and was very moist and flavorful. It combined very well with the german pancake on the bottom, which was also garnished with some apples and a maple syrup 2) BONEINBERKSHIREPORKLOIN. They really are generous with their Pork Loin! The portions were huge, and, like the duck, the pork had an amazing crust and was cooked perfectly. 3) SEAFOODBOUILLABAISSE: The broth was very tasty and the seafood was definitely fresh. Served with some grilled buttered bread on the side 4) TRIPLELAYERPUDDING: I don’t normally get dessert, but this is definitely a must-get! It’s not overly sweet, and all the layers match up perfectly. the butterscotch pretzels add a nice crunch to the dish, and it’s quite a aesthetically-pleasing dish.

Noe is a lovely little piano bar in the Omni Hotel. It’s a great place to retreat to after dinner to relax and decompress before heading to the room for bed. I adore their diverse cocktail menu. On my recent visit I had their Strawberry Basil Smash: Hennessy and Cognac muddled with lemons, basil and, of course, strawberries. Lovely. On a prior visit I had a traditional lemon drop martini and it was constructed well, too. Drinks are on the pricier side, averaging around $ 12 a cocktail, but it’s not surprising at a hotel restaurant, especially in Los Angeles. The ambiance, as I indicated, is relaxing. It’s dimly lit and the pianist typically sings quiet, smooth jazz elements. The atmosphere at times is disrupted by the occasional gaggle of L.A. douche bags that saunter in with their entourages. You just need to be prepared to tolerate their brashness for a few minutes until they are out of view. Great little late night spot in downtown LA.

A hidden gem in downtown LA! I was blown away by the incredible dishes presented by Chef Chris. His plating was exquisite, the flavors were on point and the creativity was out of this world. Their mixologist definitely knows a thing or two about cocktails. With just a hint of our favorite drinks, they concocted unbelievable drinks. They also started making their own sunteas and infused the cocktails with them. I will definitely be back!
