This review is for the Fullerton location and the name of employee is Joshua Kim but the LA location tech also supported Joshua’s recommendations to fix my system so both locations contributed to this charade. If I could give negative stars I would. This is the biggest rip-off I have ever encountered. And, as a fellow Korean I am embarrassed and ashamed at how badly this person runs this business and treats customers. And seeing the other negative reviews of this business be aware before you decide to spend you money with Office Good Computer. Key items to be aware of when dealing with Joshua which I will detail in depth: 1. Bait & Switch 2. Lies 3. Incompetent and/or does not know what he is doing in terms of computer repair My Dell tablet had a stuck keyboard due spilled milk which caused stickiness of keys and thus unable to type. I asked for either a cleanup or replacement of the keyboard. Joshua ORIGINALLY(all caps to emphasize the ever increasing amount to fix my tablet) quoted me $ 80.00 for the job which would entail replacement of the keyboard. Moreover Joshua stated it would take 3 – 5 days to fix but when I stated I needed my tablet for my job he confirmed he would turn it around in three days. Three days after drop off I get a call saying it is going to cost an extra $ 20.00 to fix the keyboard. His reason for the extra cost is because it is an ultra-book tablet. So, we have a computer repairman stating three days after the fact that there will be an increased cost due to it being an ultra-book? You mean to tell me it took him three days to figure this out instead of saying initially there is a higher cost due to the tablet’s form factor? Either Incompetent or a liar but regardless you don’t want to do business with Joshua. Three days go by without any updates so I call to see what is up. Joshua says the track pad is broken and it will cost an ADDITIONAL $ 60.00 to fix. Curious how the track pad got broken since when I dropped it off it was working fine. How do I know this? When I was dropping my system off I USED the track pad and keyboard to demonstrate what was working and not working on the tablet. Hmmm… mysterious how something that was working fine when I dropped off was all of sudden broken? Joshua’s explanation: «bad timing or luck.» Really? After arguing the point of how the track pad was all of sudden broken and Joshua insisting it was not his fault I told him to leave the track pad as is. By the way, Joshua’s recommendation to fix the track pad was to remove and reinstall my Operating System and Windows(re-imaging the tablet) which is why the extra $ 60.00 charge!!! I told him NO on track pad fix. To be fair the keyboard now works but at $ 20.00 above initial cost estimate which Joshua failed to correctly diagnose issue and manage expectations. Then the BS about needing to reimage the tablet to fix the track pad, especially when the track pad was working fine when I dropped off? Here is the kicker. I decided to take my unit to my local Microsoft store. MS tech at the store fixed the track pad in 20 minutes via a reboot, of which at least half of the time spent was because the MS tech was the only one on call so had to attend to other customers before he came back to confirm the fix. This is the editorial section. My thought is Joshua thought he could just clean the keyboard before he realized it actually needed replacing, ergo the extra $ 20.00 charge to actually order a new keyboard. He wanted to make a quick $ 80.00 for simply opening up the tablet, cleaning it and making all margin on some time spent. When he realized he actually had to order replacement keyboard and not make as much profit he scrambled to try and make up the additional time he had to spend by finding ways to increase the repair costs… Lastly, my wireless connectivity function also stopped working when I cam home and tried to connect to my home network. I had to reset my wireless which is a Function F2 on my system. Hmmm, my wireless was working fine when I dropped off. Interesting how my wireless feature got turned off??? Would you trust a person like this? Your call…

Fullerton store is a rip off. We buys accessories and it doesn’t work. We take it back and they don’t exchange or give refunds. They did not mention anything about no refunds or exchanges for items under $ 100.00 I bought 2 that was $ 10/ea… and they would not exchange it even though they checked to see if ut worked or not. It does NOTWORK for SHIT!!! It should be negative rating!!!

As a fellow Korean, I have a sort of tolerance for other Koreans out there. However, this is the last time I would tolerate it. I am writing this review because I have gotten a new Toshiba with an operating system of Windows 8 even though the original operating system was Windows Vista. The person in charge of the store told my dad that all Toshibas were set up like this. However, as I am using this new laptop, it is apparent to me that there are a lot of problems with it such as: sound distortion of the speakers(my iPhone’s speakers are 10 times better), the slow speed of the use of the computer(minor lag for a new computer? bad omens to come!), and the unreliability of it(randomly crashes even when I’m reading something). Furthermore, my brother also told me that after he got his laptop back from fixing his screen at the same place, a random virus popped up, even though his computer was free of malware and spyware prior to him sending it to the shop for reviews and after. I can assure you that this is only my opinion and that someone else may have a better time(s) than I did. But for my future visits for my technological needs, I’ll go to Fry’s. I hope the manager in charge reads this and knows that we aren’t illogical people and that we actually pay attention.
