They remodeled this place recently. It looks nice and clean. Food is excellent. Lots of menu items. They have all day breakfast! My cheeseburger and fries came out nice and hot! Spacious seating. Line moves quickly. Lots of snack items as well. Friendly service. Definitely thumbs up!

Stopped by today and they have a new girl at the counter and she’s nasty and rude… Never really care for the place and half of the time the cook would mess up your order but the people were generally nice. Yup so Im done and will never ever go back to this spot…

Stopped by to grab smthg quick to eat. Had the lunch special — the Oaxaca style chicken(Mexican mole). The small size comes with 2 pieces of chicken and a choice of 1 side. The flavoring was very good. Quick line. Friendly staff.

Review adjusted downward. Sporting a new«B» rating in their window and I swear the prices went up again. With the new places to eat opening at Wilshire/Vermont, there’s very little reason to come here and pay $ 10+ for a lunch.

I work nearby and have eaten here probably 30+ times. The salads are good. The cold sandwiches & wraps are okay. The hot sandwiches are greasy. Never tried the breakfasts or daily specials. I recommend the cobb salad.

Is convenience worth overpriced crappy food? The counter staff are very nice but the cooks just seem to do whatever the fvck they want. I mean how bad can you fvck up a roast beef sandwich. Put the fvcking meat on the bread with some lettuce tomato and send it out. I don’t want some greasy asss sh1t! Just give me the food I order. The cooks are far from gourmet and really don’t care what you ask for. Worst part about it is, im busy working and don’t have time to deal with nonsense. So after waiting 30 minutes for a fvcking sandwich they mess it up and expect you to wait around for something to be made again. I don’t think so but at least you know why they work in the place they do. Do yourself a favor and walk across the street or order in. This place sucks.

I’ve been eating here a lot more regularly so I felt an update was in order. They have made some improvements. I no longer cringe before opening my lunch box. :) I see new staff in the kitchen. A few Asian ladies who seem to know their way around a kitchen and produce. The ingredients are definitely fresher than before. The fries have been consistently better. Seems they change out the oil in the fryer more often. The breakfast burrito with bacon is always satisfying and large in size. I will eat half for breakfast and then the other half for lunch. Has eggs, bacon, cheese, and potatoes in it. The BLT has a good heaping of crisp bacon, crisp, fresh lettuce and isn’t too dry. Also recently tried the ice blended mocha. Yum!(Now I kind of want one). Still nervous to go back for the tuna… maybe someday. Prices are still too much on the high side, but you pay for the convenience. Parking: Only difficult to nab street meters or pay lots surrounding. I’d mainly come here if you’re in walking distance and it’s convenient to where you work.

So the only reason I came here is because my office is located in this building and I was starving. Overpriced, maybe? Sure a little bit more expensive but not a ton. Quality: Actually not that bad. Bought a turkey sandwich with a side salad. Overall it was alright, not as bad as some people made it out to be. Not mind blowing food. My order wasn’t messed up like most people experienced.

Pricy latte at $ 5 next time I’ll steam some milk and seep some green tea on the cheap at home:-)

The two stars are mainly because the staff is friendly. However, if they weren’t in my office building, I would probably never come here. Food is overpriced and 9 times out of 10 they mess your order up. Take my advice and head across the street to Ace Café/Café Primo. Their breakfast burritos are the bomb and about $ 2 cheaper.

I finally decided to give them another try about 4 months later. I bought a cooked item and I got full-blown dysentery. I had to go to the ER because of what this place undercooked. The health inspector went out and called back stating that he found many meats/dairy that were not being kept at the right temperature. I have since relocated my job so I no longer am trapped with One Café as my only option. Once again, the people, particularly Martha are great, but the owner will never listen, much less change his menu or product to be quality.

It is what it is… I stop in here to get a snack before my evening job next door when I have little time. I’ll get a pastry or a cheeseburger. Their regular food items on the menu look too expensive to me.

Gross. The«chef» here is plain gross. He will handle chicken/beef with his bare hands and then cut your bagel without a glove or washing his hands. He will eat french fries off your plate and then hand it to you. This happened to me! I was totally freaked out and promptly tossed it straight in the trash. Oh, and it is so overpriced it’s ridiculous!

The lunch I had last week was OK — but a sandwich & soda for $ 9.99 in a cafeteria setting was kind of steep. Q: How do I still know that it was exactly $ 9.99? A: Because they charged $ 99.90 on my credit card for the meal — that makes it memorable. So now I’m going through the pain-in-the-ass dispute process of sending the receipt to my credit card company, etc., to get the overcharge back. I work in this building sometimes. I’m just never eating in this building again. If One Café(teria) makes these kinds of «mistakes» with charging their customers, who knows what kind of mistakes happen with the food prep. Ugh.

This place is garbage. It is very overpriced, they charge you extra for using a card on a purchase less than $ 5(which is against the TOS for all major credit card companies). Their food is sub-par, and their cleanliness leaves more to be desired. Just today I went there to order a simple cheeseburger(which costs $ 3.50!), I waited 15 for minutes, in the mean time the place started to fill up and get busy. Did I get my food? Nope. They forgot about my order apparently, but were easily able to complete all the orders after mine. I asked for a refund and then walked out. I’m never eating here again. I’ll go across the street to Prima Café instead. Don’t waste your time here, even if you work in this building.

This place just sucks. They are quite«OVER-PRICED» and they don’t really care about good services. The lady at counter is generally rude. The chef and his helpers don’t really pay heed to the type of food ordered, be it vegetarian or vegan. They cook hash browns and bacon on the same plate. So if you are vegetarian or a vegan or if you just get sick of certain food items don’t even think going there coz you might never know whats actually in your food. I am not sure about you but I am never eating there anymore!

Dude. What is up with this place? Their prices here are ridiculous. Being a «café» it really shouldn’t cost $ 10 just for lunch. Work in the building? Oh, that doesn’t matter. You’ll probably have to pay extra just to get your order done correctly. They have a nice variety of things on their menu, but one can only eat a poorly constructed veggie wrap so many times. I’d never touch the veggie burger because who knows what meat juices it will be marinating in on that grill. which is totally fine if you are into that kinda thing. What’s funny is that on their menu it doesn’t state that they put mayo in their wraps, but since I HAVE to stand by and watch them make food at their tortoise pace, I noticed that they like to put things such as mayo in your food for no apparent reason. Let me say now, I hate mayo. they put it in there to hold the wrap together… uh??? It totally doesn’t add anything to the wrap, not for function or flavor… or maybe they should just change their menu. or they should learn how to make food correctly. Once, I even found chicken in my veggie wrap which is a huge fail. They didn’t even apologize, just sort of looked down lost, and gave me back my $. Then recently, my co-worker got salmonella poisoning after she had a salmon bowl, of which then our Operations Manager sent out a company-wide email letting everyone know not to eat downstairs anymore. You can see the public health notice outside of their window along with their new«B» health department rating, when it used to be an «A». My updated review was removed from lack of «first hand experience» but I have had SO many experiences here, it’s crazy. And I experienced the two weeks when my co-worker was out sick, on a liquid diet, not in the office so we had to work with her from home. Bad service, mediocre food = thumbs down!

Thank you for being exactly what you say you are… I didn’t know the name until yesterday. It’s in the lobby of the building I work at and I wanted to avoid eating out in an attempt to save money. However, its sheer convenience and my desire for a grilled cheese sandwich got the better of me this week… as did it being an igloo in my office on Friday pushed me towards wanting hot food. I was told by someone else in the building that the breakfast burrito is good if you replace the meat with avacado. I cannot vouche for this as I had 2 hot things on the menu. Cranberry juice from the cooler: $ 2 This was probably the most reasonably priced item I have gotten here. Grilled Cheese: Standard. Nothing amazing or horrible. Price for just a sandwich? $ 4.50 Um, wtf mate? Bacon Cheeseburger combo: Again, pretty standard. Not astounding. Special ordered & they neglected to tell me it had ranch dressing on it. They remade the entire burger for me after giving me an earful for not telling them that before they made it. They hadn’t told me there was sauce in it when I special ordered. I said I was allergic. Fries in the combo: Not bad. They put lowry season salt on them. Thick fries. This could have bumped it to a potential 2 star place but… Total for burger, fries & a drink: $ 8.50 after tax?! Rude staff. Mediocre food. Overpriced. Holy hell remind me never to forget my lunch again.
