This place is just great! Love how efficient they are I recommend everyone to give a try you won’t regret it

I love this place! You can have some coffee, salads, sandwiches and even tamales.
Their coffee and food are so good! I haven’t had the pleasure yet but they have a comedy club in the back. They have a black board at the front that tells you all the upcoming events for the week.
There is inside and outside seating (a bit small but spacious enough). Prices are reasonable and staff are nice. I will be back!

This place just keeps getting better and better.
Everything I’ve tried is super yummy and the coffee continues to be amazing.
They’re getting some really fun shows in the back too.

Very quaint space for getting some work done or grabbing a bite. One side is a café, the other is a theater. They serve breakfast all day which is sweet cause the breakfast burritos are SO good. The soyrizo is def my favorite, the chai latte is also spicy and delish.

This place is very relaxing for me. I sometimes come on the weekend. I like my ice coffee and they make it just right. I bring my laptop to read the news and sometimes to do some writing. I am still working on my screenplay so it is a good place when I need a change.

One word, delicious! The food is great and the ambience is very pleasant. Definitely, a place you want to try.

I mean, I’m a little biased since I’m right down the street from Open Space, but this place just kept getting better and better the more I became familiar with all that it offers…

Menu that has variety and the basics w/​a twist = check (*Celiacs, it’s not a dedicated gluten free facility but there are plenty of «safe» options for you all… sincerely, your fellow Celiac ;P)

It’s a great place, and they’re making changes by the day. Also: curbside service. ?! Call in /​place online, and they’ll run it out to you without you having to worry about parking and all that LA nonsense haha.

Really nice people work here :) they even gave us a free cookie after partaking in our conversation about… stuff… lovely place. will go back.

Omg. I was taken here by. Yup my wife. We were here for a comedy show. I got hungry. People people people you must try there chocolate croissant. Godddd dammmit wonderful.

Nice staff. Nice food. Nice coffee. Clean, new and fresh. Haven’t been in the back yet ??? Looks cool back there. I’d like to play a gig here I think.

Ok can this place get any better?! So many cafes to pick from around this area but this is one of my top favorite in my neighborhood now.
We came here expecting to have a quick coffee and maybe pastry and ended up having a tamal (which was the special for the day) and pesto sandwich with a side salad. The food was a major surprise, not that we expected bad but usually food out of cafes are simply and «basic». This place really pays attention to and enjoys having food options for clients which is awesome.
The coffee was great here as well which is the main reason we stopped by. I got the Iced Latte which was made with just right amount of everything. The other great part of this place is the location. They have both outside seating and interior tables to sit at. Apparently on certain nights they also host a comedy club event in the rear of the place which you would not expect by just looking at this place from outside. I will be back for that event in the near future for sure.
Staff here was real friendly and very helpful.
Only challenge is parking around here but it comes with the area which if you are a local are already use to it.

Had some time to kill before a taping at the CBS lot, so my friend and I walked down Fairfax to grab a coffee. The first spot Unilocal sent us to didn’t exist anymore, so Open Space it was. Decent drip coffee at a decent price, but nothing amazing. They let me try 2 different brews, and I could barely tell the difference between them. A for effort, guys, but the coffee just didn’t wow me like I was hoping it would.

Great coffee, amazing interior: very open and hip, great lighting for peeps not wanting to work from home. Power plugs on all tables. Thumbs up!

I just had a latte and bought a bag of French roast here. I have to say, that might be the best (def top three!) latte I’ve ever had.
I don’t drink coffee constantly, I’m not addicted so I don’t get or finish a cup just because I have to. Their coffee had such palpable caramel notes that I asked the manager if they put caramel in the coffee.
Can’t wait to come here for breakfast and get a burrito with my latte!
Also it wasn’t a freaking fortune. I’m so annoyed how everything on fairfax has gotten so insanely expensive. Like $ 5 for doughnut!

Very average coffee shop, nothing spectacular but they are quick, clean and attentive. They have shows in the evening, I haven’t been but the space is great for it.

So many cafes and coffee shops like to say that they believe in community and wish to contribute to their local neighborhoods – but often that is either just hot air or manifested in really narrow, intermittent ways.
It isn’t often that an establishment really does believe in community, the arts, and supporting local artists and vigorously works to embody those values in word and deed. Open Space is one of those rare places– a beacon of good will, artistic values, and flexibility.
Open Space LA allowed me, a local filmmaker, to shoot in their space for a very affordable price. They were kind, open-​minded, and communicative. Furthermore, the drinks and snacks we purchased for the cast and crew were all top notch.
The space is stunning with oodles of natural light that creates a vista of calm. The management of the café was very accommodating with my actors and crew and a general delight. They were forever warm and professional.
People and places like this are able to give a tormented city like Los Angeles a positively small-​town feel — and that is a rarity and a prize.

My go-​to weekend breakfast spot. Can’t have a Saturday go by without getting the breakfast burrito combo.

Questionable area, but it turned out ok. Went inside to wait for the 7:00pm performance. Perused the massive wall written menu. Decided upon a chocolate croissant and iced mocha. Croissant — excellent, mocha had a little too much ice but it did taste good. Show time. They were ready to accept guests, the checklist was ready, they had change, and the tables were clean! Sound man was very helpful to the artists. Overall, a nice experience. It’s a little too far for me to travel for coffee and a bite, but well worth the trip for a quality show.

Really reasonable prices for coffee and food — and quality is decent.
I just had a breakfast burrito quinoa bowl … So good.
And cold drip coffee so tasty.
We’ll be back for sure. And they have a really neat live music space.
