Coming to Placio De Oro was one of the best decision I made. I needed to sell my gold, and after reading all the great reviews I decided to go to Placio De Oro. I admit I was a bit worried that I wouldnt get a good deal or get ripped off, but Ramon was very sincere and honestly seemed like a great guy. He explained everything that he was doing, and even gave an explanation of the equipment he used to test the gold! He made sure my gold was always in my sight, and he gave me a price that was very satisfactory for me. If I ever need to sell gold again I know I will be going back to Placio for sure.

Palacio De Oro is the place to go! Their prices blew the competition out of the water. For jewelry, their offer was nearly twice the amount what another place offered. After coming here, I am angry at and disappointed in the other shop that tried to rip me off with smooth talk and their swindling techniques.
The people that run this establishment are good-​natured and friendly. I had a wonderful conversation with them, and I found parking easily on the street. There are lots of jewelry and shops in the area, but Palacio De Oro is the one I recommend. Come to Palacio De Oro for your jewelry needs!!! You guys rock!!!

I just went in today to sell my 1oz American Eagle gold coin and I know for a fact that I got the most money out of it from this place than I would’ve anywhere else. I shopped around and called 6 different places that buy gold. This place quoted me the most and then actually gave me more money than quoted when I went in to sell my coin. Not to mention the whole process only took about 10 mins! Which in downtown is worth more money!
Good people and good prices for gold. I feel good about my transaction and that matters the most. Bring your gold here!

I received a gold coin as a wedding present (who still needs those) so I stopped to get it appraised at place de Oro. Their staff was absolutely lovely, everyone of them. The first offer I was made exceeded my expectations and walked out with cash in hand in less then 10min. I highly recommend this place, and will never go anywhere else. Nice ladies. I did my research and weighed my necklace at home on my scale and knew what to expect. I didn’t go to other shops to compare offers because I thought it was fair, but I also wasn’t looking to squeeze every penny out of my necklace just get rid of it. So it was a pleasant experience. Right near Pershing sq metro stop on my metro adventure.

This place is just the best. I got my sister a gold name necklace, she loves it! I looked around quite a bit and their prices were fair. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. I also got rings sized, and they look great. They ordered me a ring sizer, which I also shopped around quite a bit for. All in all great service good prices.
The parking can be tricky. That’s just downtown LA.
