Came in to buy laces. Showed him the boot. He gave me a pair(for 10 $ — which is high). I get home and they aren’t long enough. This guy is either lazy or just a terrible person.

This place has a pretty decent selection of docs, but posers(just a couple stores down) has a larger selection with better styles. Posers sell their docs cheaper as I have compared the two. It’s about 30 bucks cheaper. The gentleman and I believe his wife who own this establishment are quite nice. On their receipt it clearly states no exchanges or refunds, but when trying my docs again at home I felt they were a tad big and needed to go down a size I really thought they wouldn’t do an exchange since it clearly states no exchanges on the receipt. But to my surprise the gentleman gave the exchange with no hassle at all. Although he is very nice I do prefer posers just for the fact it’s cheaper and they have more styles, sizes, colors in stock.

A terrific selection of shoes but the owners are scam-artists. They never put the prices on the boxes and give different prices to each and every customer based on appearances. I was over-charged at least $ 50 for a pair of boots. They all have a NOREFUND, NORETURN policy which should have been my first warning.

I actually had a pretty good experience here. Many stores along Melrose have the«no return — exchange ONLY» policy and it’s always been like this. Docs and other specialty boots are going to be pricey no matter where you go and it is worth it to me to have the extensive selection to choose from right before your eyes, and trying footwear on before you buy is essential. It’s cheaper to come here and have every size, color, style at your fingertips and pay a few bucks extra for this convenience rather than ordering stuff online and having to return it via shipping. Furthermore, the owner of the store was awesome and treated us like gold. We bought so much stuff in here he didn’t have to «make up prices on the spot.»
