Awesome paint store and the only one I could find with #crueltyfree and #vegan house paint!!! Safecoat is environmentally friendly and safe for your family and pets too. I searched high and low and these guys really know their stuff too.

When I was ready to do the painting work on the investment home, my partner introduce me to this shop for all of my paint needs, the owner is usually there, they carry a full supply of eco friendly paints, stains, removers, and sealers. I went ahead and gave them the different colors that I needed, went to have lunch and came back to pick up all of my orders without the stress of Home Depot or Lowe’s. Their pricing is incredibly cheap and their paints are high quality. I will be using them for all of my investment needs.

We had to have the exterior of our house painted, and purchased our paints from Par Paint. They did a great job with the color match. They patiently explained to us the different types of paints available. They also gave us recommendations on which paint to use. We would definitely use them again. We highly recommend this company.

I love this place. I originally found them when I was was searching online for a local AFM dealer.
Cyrus, in particular has been extremely lovely to work with over the course of several months. Each time I talk to him he has shown himself to be very knowledgable about appropriate products to use in cases of chemical sensitivity.
He also has been extremely patient, kind and generous with his time. He helped guide me in selecting an appropriate floor as well as how to deal with my subfloor and what to use as a sealant for the floor.
At one point I thought I would no longer need some unopened items and send them back for a refund. He was very gracious about accepting the returns even though months later I ended up finding I needed them after all. :-)
It was really nice to find someone who could help me with this process because most home goods professionals are clueless when it comes to chemical sensitivity.

Sam helped my wife narrow down her selection of non-​VOC and toxic-​free paints to AMF, which this store is only a handful that carries this brand. The paint isn’t expensive but the people worked to get us what we needed and gave plenty of sage advice. We’ll be back when we need to talk paint again.

Cyrus helped me out and he was friendly and helpful — Par was one of the only local businesses that carry the brand I wanted and I found the prices to be competitive. I don’t live near the store and they could not have been more helpful; both over the phone and by email. Delivery was decently priced and convenient. I highly recommend giving your business to this store!

This is the only paint store I willingly patronize. They are incredibly nice and helpful, their selection of paints is amazing (even floor paints, metallics, custom tinted epoxies etc…)

I went there yesterday for the first time. I bought 6 gallons for my new apt. they matched the samples of Buer paint I had from Home Depot. They have serious quality brands like Sherwin Williams and Pratt and Lambert. I can’t believe I ever went to Home Depot as the quality/​service is so much better here & Par Paint is right in my hood (echo park). Like Baller Hardware in silverlake, these people really know paint and are willing to help you. you might pay 3 more dollars per gallon (not based on a scientific study), but it’s way worth it! Also you will get out of there quicker and with alot more confidence that your place will look great.

Knowledgeable, patient staff and great quality paint adds up to a great final product. The difference is on my walls!
Way better than going thru the large depot type stores…
