Had the Carne asada torta. It was well cooked, served quickly and tasty! Will be coming back again for sure.

Yummy, Local definitely LA. A hodge podge of delicious fresh baked goods with Cuban sandwiches and other Latin hot meals. Very small and limited seating. Spanish is the main language of menu and service but they have lots of photos of hot food items. Bakery is full of fresh delicious self serve items. Next time I’m in town I’m definitely coming back. 4 stars due to limited seating.

I walked in and the whole place was flooded, Also flys surround the the door and your face while your trying to choose out the bread. Luckily the bread is caged up, wouldn’t recommend this place

For the price, this little place is a find! Food is great, regardless of what you order, and the ladies taking you order are super sweet. They get very busy for lunch, but regardless of how busy they are, you’ll be certain to receive great customer service. Be forewarned, the place is tiny and lacks air conditioning. It’s best to order your food to go, but that’s my personal preference. Items recommended you try: Spinach popusa, green chilaquiles, and chicken flautas. Yum!

There food looks great and tastes ok. The pastries look delicious although I didnt try any. People are friendly but they dont have all items on menu. I ordered a torta cubana without guacamole and they put bistec because they were out of milanesa and to top it off! They did put guacamole in my torta. I asked about the champurrado they advertised on the picture. they said«we will have it when weather gets cold» okkkk… so i asked about tamales and they said they ran out of all flavors except pork… they advertise aguas frescas but didnt have any… hmmm and the mosquitoes were all over the food because their door is wide open! Will not be returning

The«café» in Paris Bakery and Café is a hidden gem! EVERYTHING is delicious. Not processed, home style cooking, freshly made corn tortillas, amazing homemade sauces, the cooks are experienced and fast. This is one of the best places to find tried and true Mexican dishes that are perfectly prepared. Breakfast is served all day.

I like to come here for my lunch breaks. What I love about this place is that everyone makes you feel like home. The food is good, nothing out of this world except for the tortas.

The place is small but the food is good. You can order your lunch to go and go across the street to eat at Belvedere Park or at the East LA Courthouse court yard.

The short — — — — — — — — — — – They would do better if their name was«East LA Bakery & Café» lol. Nothing ‘Parisian’ here except –maybe– some of the pastries. lol The pan dulce/sweet bread is good but this ‘café’ serves legit Mexican food. The long — — — — — — — — — — — Location: Found in newer shopping center on west side of Mednick Avenue west of the East LA Civic Center. Walking distance from the Gold Line ELA Civic Center Station. Store entrance is on Mednick Ave so if you park in the lot you will need to go around the burger place or Coffee Bean(this shop is between the two). Parking: Private lot, street. Park on the street for easiest access. Environment: Though this is in a newerish shopping center the interior is ‘hole in the wall’ and for my preference a take-out spot. lol No Air Conditioning so on hot days kind staff is sweaty & you will almost pass out from the heat. lol Bakery is on the right/north half, café is on the left/south half. Order from the same counter. Trays for the pan dulce/sweet bread are located under the counter by the cashier. Fancy pastries are under lock & key, the attendant said she HADTO lock ‘em up. SMH. lol 2 – 3 tiny tables and a counter w a few stools to eat inside. A shared patio between Coffee Bean & the Deli is a nice & comfortable outdoor space. Food: Yes the pan dulce(Mexican sweet bread) is good, yes some of their pastries are fabulous, the tres leches pastries were pretty good, a little runny but that’s ok. My favorite was the raspberry flavored tres leches mini cake. The best thing here though is the homemade Mexican food. Bottled drinks available in fridge across from cashier. Favorites café items include:(will update periodically as I go thru the menu lol) –fresh made corn tortillas on the spot –carnitas tacos –zucchini sopes. Yes I said ZUCCHINISOPES! lol –breakfast burritos(cactus/nopal w egg, chorizo & egg) –carnitas burrito –nopal/cactus burrito WC: Cross your legs & hold it cuz there is none. Minus a star for lack of.

I’ve been eating here since it opened. They make the best chicken salad. The staff is really friendly and the prices are very affordable. I definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area.

One of my go to spots in East LA. Love the breakfast burritos. Service is great, and the staff are all friendly. Lots of locals always here.

Love their champurrado, it isn’t too sweet, and on a cold morning it hits the spot; and their Mexican sweet bread, which is soft and flavorful.

Came back here after a 2 year hiatus to find that they opened a restaurant next door. I used to come to the bakery to buy conchas, and now there’s a restaurant with the bakery as well. They make amazing baked goods. I like the chocolate pastry the most. It’s fluffy, with both ends dipped in chocolate and chocolate filling in the inside as well. And it’s not chocolate cream but legit chocolate! They also have good mexican food as well. The Chilaquiles were good.

Great little hole in the wall next to Coffee Bean. Although the name is Paris Bakery, it serves Mexican Food and breads! I had the bean and cheese quesadilla and it was awesome! The green salsa is the way to go! Try this place out, it’s legit home grown Mexican Food!
