This location is lovely. The two sales girls(I feel terrible that I can’t remember their names!) Were really sweet, friendly, but not pushy which I liked! I came in looking for non slip black work shoes and they knew exactly what to do and were super helpful. It’s a little cramped in here, so try to avoid it when it’s busy. The larger women’s sizes leave a lot to be desired, so honestly unless you’ve got $ 60 to spend on a pair of shoes, if you’re above a size 9 you should just go to DSW. Besides that the place is nice! The employees made the whole experience really great though, 4⁄5 just for them! :)

UnilocalINSIDERTIPFROMDOREEN(AKAAZNPERSUASION): If you wear a women’s size 5 you can fit a kid’s 2.5 or size 3. They also carry kids sizes 4 and up so you can prob wear those if you are a women’s size 6 or higher. ***** I buy my some of everyday sneaker shoes here. I always get compliments on them. They have a lot of good sales too.

Bought 2 pairs of shoes for the wife here. Great deals on Airwalk slippers and some boots(WITHTHEFUR)! Friendly service and they even found my binder I left there. Prices were a little more expensive than I remember from the 1990’s but it has been 2 decades since I’ve been there. They have better name brands now, kinda like Target.

Uuuuugh. So when a girl’s on a budget, and living in the Westside, adjustments need to be made. *sigh* I was meandering through the Westside Pavillion, and saw some cute espadrilles in the window. I decided to go in, not realizing which store I was in. I browse through the shoe selection, which happened to be next to one of the employees who was fixing the shoes, making sure they were all in order. I stood there in front of all the shoes… just skimming through them all. Homegirl didn’t even acknowledge I was there… no «hi» no nothin. I didn’t let it phase me, as I continued to find out that the shoes that I liked weren’t that cute afterall. At certain points, the employee would even get in front of me to fix something. No «excuse me» no nothing. After a minute of looking, she veered in front of me again, and reached for something above both of our heads, and about 5 pairs of boxes and shoes came tumbling down. I jumped away pretty quickly. She just sighed, and started picking up the shoes and boxes. WTF… one of those boxes could have hit my head, and I would have had to sue! LOL. Again, no apology. I was so pissed off, I just walked out. In retrospect, I should have knocked some shoes off the counter. Stupid Payless.
