Payless Shoesource

Plenty of parking, courtesy and helpful staff, store was organized, well stocked and very clean. Staff greeted me quickly, offered assistance and informed me of the sales in progress.

I came into Payless today to buy a pair of nonslip shoes for work. My initial experience was lackluster, non of the saleswoman offered to help me. After trying on several pairs I eventually chose a tennis shoe style that was comfortable and had a great price of $ 29.99. When Addie, the cashier, rung me up the price on the computer was $ 54.99. I asked her about the discrepancy, and she said, «The sticker from another box probably just fell inside the box by accident.» I would like to add that the sticker was literally affixed to this box. I was disappointed; I wasn’t going to pay that much for work shoes! When I went back to the check stand with a different pair of shoes Addie told me she’d give me the shoes I had originally wanted at the sale price. This is when my Payless experience became a positive one. Thank you, Addie.

I will never shop at this location again. I spent $ 120 there yesterday, and I was going to spend more, but my 5 year old daughter said she had to use the bathroom. The clerks refused to let her. There were no other stores around to go to. I said what do you want me to do, let her have an accident in the store or or go outside behind a bush? They still refused, said it was policy, and they were afraid for their lives. Really??? Afraid a little 5 year old girl is going to rob them??? We hurriedly paid for our shoes and thank goodness a hair salon next door helped us. The clerks at Payless were so rude! Then when I got home, Payless had left an antitheft tag in one shoe so I’ll have to go back to get it taken out. When lI called to tell them about that, they hung up on me. I worked in retail myself for 16 years and I’ve never been treated so badly in my life. I have called corporate headquarters about this. I’ve asked for the manager to call me back about the retraining these employees need. I’ll repost if they apologize. My 2 daughters said they never ever want to go to that store again.

Not the best selection. I prefer to go to higher end outlets. But a great place for something quick and cheap. Friendly staff and always open parking spots.

Came in here on an evening before dance class looking for a spring shoe and found it… The young lady that helped me was also very helpful and friendly. I will be back whenever i’m in the market for a cheap quick shoe fix. :o)

I love this payless! Customer service is wonderful! I am a fan of this place because they have a pretty good selection and I love the welcoming atmosphere when you walk in. I go in here every now and then and they are always well stocked and I can always find something. I highly recommend this payless.

Great price for every day shoes and I love the surprise finds, cant beat the prices but my biggest delight is the service that I’ve received at this particular Payless on multiple occasions. The staff are always friendly and welcoming but never aggressive. I drop by this store regularly as its very close to where I live and every time I come into the store I am always greeted with a warm welcome and an offer of assistance in finding anything in particular followed by a gesture that welcomes any questions or requests. Most recently I left ecstatic, sounds weird I know, but I was blown away at the level of service they extended when casually commenting about a particular pair of shoes I had bought there that I really liked but turned out to be too small and uncomfortable, without hesitation they offered to exchange the shoes even though I no longer had the receipt. I love that — and my black suede wedges which are GREAT for the office — fashionable yet comfortable. Thanks Payless!

I’m not sure why people pay so much for shoes when there are places like Payless. Not only are they inexpensive, they have super cute styles and a large variety for men, women, and children. I love that they almost always have the BOGO sale going on. Buy one get one half off. Not bad! I can get my daughter a few pairs of shoes for $ 20.
The shoes are good quality too. People tend to think that they’re made from cheap materials, but some of my favorite shoes that have lasted me forever are from Payless :)
This location is nice, never crowded, and pretty much always have the style I want in my size. The staff is very knowledgeable and attentive which I like.

Great place for kids shoes. They also have a line of inexpensive bridal shoes u can get dyed in a variety of colors.

The newly lit sign surprised me. I don’t think I ever really knew this place existed, till they changed the sign! There’s a generous parking lot.
Well, lucky me, I found a pair of shoes that I liked when I was in Hawaii in July. Unbelievable, the best part, they’re on sale $ 8.00, what a bargain. I’m returning again soon.

It seems like no one Unilocal the ol’ Payless ‘shoesource’. Well, I’m admitting it. I shop Payless every once in a while, you know, when nothing jumps out at you at Shoe Pavilion or DSW.
I am a fan of this place because I can get a lot of cheap shoes and they tend to last a pretty long time, actually the pair of flats that I’ve gotten the most compliments on came from a sale rack (ie 5 bucks) payless in NY.

oh, as for the store– it was neat and the staff were young friendly girls. Its on a strange corner of Washington and Inglewood so if you’re not going the right direction it may get wierd, but its do-​able. Plenty of parking out front.
