Hrm… my BFF turned me on to PBP when I was preggers. Already knowing I was having a girl, I was ready to squeeee when I saw all the cute, fairytale princess clothes, shoes, tutus, toys, etc. My Visa was standing on my shoulder, all horns and forked tongue. I bought a couple of cute things, but waiting to do serious damage until the wee one arrived. I went back to get BFF a shower gift for her second bambino. They will(very stylishly) wrap any gift you ask them to… for free. So, props for that. BFF and I hit up their sidewalk sale a couple of months ago. This time, my Visa was stronger than my willpower. I bought several cute(albeit $$$) items. I was disappointed, however, to find that within one wear of a $ 30 one-piece playsuit, the ribbon was fraying and the hem was coming loose. In addition, it didn’t fit well. It was an 18 mo outfit, my daughter was still wearing 12 mo clothes and it just didn’t fit. This wouldn’t normally be an issue for me, but damn… all sidewalk sale items are final. I’m worried about the other stuff I bought in larger sizes. So, they have cute stuff. Some of it is REALLY cute stuff, especially for baby girls. I might go back and buy a gift for someone, but I doubt I’ll go back to shop for myself. My kid only wears stuff for a few months before she outgrows it… I can’t justify spending $ 50 on an outfit that she’ll only wear a few times(and which might just fall apart before she outgrows it).
