Pepe’s Tacos

I love this place! It is located in south central on 53^rd and San Pedro behind Angelica’s market. Their food is «estilo leon guanajuato». They make fresh hand made Quesadillas at a super affordable price! I love their Guisados which include chicharron, bistec, trocitos, and flor de calabaza/​squash blossoms! Plus on the weekends they have Desebrada, Picadillo, and tinga. They also have all regular meats like asada AL pastor chicken, shrimp etc. ! And they’ll add Nopales and Frijoles fritos at no extra cost. They also Sale tacos mulitas burritos wet burritos Huaraches sopes. For a small lunch truck their possibilities are very convenient. You guys have to try the menudo this is the only place I have ever bought from that does not require for me to go home re-​boil it add more seasoning and herbs to make it taste «right» they serve it along with fresh made tortillas and a delicious salsa de aceite. Their prices are very affordable anywhere from 1.25 for a taco up to 8.50 for a Quesadilla de Camarones de harina. Overall great customer service and they also do caterings. If anyone is looking for a delicious authentic affordable Mexican food place I highly suggest you come here !!! Their food is way better than other restaurants I’ve tried such as «gloria’s» .
They have some random days they do $ 4 burritos who wouldn’t want a $ 4 burrito I’ve paid up to $ 9 for burritos which are horrible compared to these.

Their location is deep in the hood, but dont be scared, you’ll feel better once you start eating. They serve tacos, mulitas, huaraches, tortas. They have all kinds of meats such as lengua, pastor, pollo, asada, carnitas, and then some more. They hosted our babyshower event some time ago, they did a wonderul job. We have referred them many times and they have done great! Its a drive but we really like coming here.
