Horrible bedside manner. I would not go to see this doctor unless you are desperate. He does know some decent people to refer to and does show up to the hospital but thats about it.

Dr. Levine is THE WORST. I went to him after feeling weak and he tested me for anemia. I ended up needing a few blood transfusions, and afterwards he told me all I need to do is take iron pills and eat spinach. Turns out that WAS NOT TRUE. I ended up in the hospital again, found a hematologist who told me he was surprised I was just told to take iron supplements. I wish he would’ve recommended a specialist instead of blowing me off and dismissing my severe anemia as a minor problem. My boyfriend also went to him and he told my bf that he no longer needs his blood pressure meds. My bf ended up in the hospital and was on emergency BP pills for months until he got his blood pressure down to a livable level.
I feel bad that I’ve recommended him to other people… those two other people have told me they also had bad experiences with him. He has terrible bedside manner, and is dismissive and flippant.
He also never calls back when you leave a message with him, his receptionist is so rude, rarely answers the phone and is not helpful whatsoever.
The only redeeming part of his office is that they have a lab in office, so your blood tests can be done while you wait. My advice is to find someone with better bedside manner and an overall better doctor.
