Very friendly service and great deli food. Besides the usual hot and cold sandwiches they also have great pastries and desserts.

Great food. Good service. Generous portions. Not the cleanest or fanciest ambience, but it’s a deli.

They have great food but sad to say terrible service. The owner is highly unprofessional and speaks to his customers in an incredibly rude manner.

You know a restaurant has good food when most people that go there are fat, lol. But the food is delicious here and the service is great. The ambiance could use some help but it supposed to be a jewish deli, what can you expect!

I went for a business lunch today,(four of us.) We started out with one order of the chicken strips which all of us loved it so much we ordered another one… I shared the turkey pastrami sandwhich(Eh– not the best. Tastes like nothing… lol) it came with(Potato salad A+) But the matzo ball soup was amazing(Tasted)… I was upset to learn they do not serve coffee or hot tea… heh? why? Limited Dessert menu, but the lemon cake is great.(Tasted) I would have given it a 4 star, but the sandwhich wasnt great. I will be back.

Where do I begin. This place is no doubt my go-to Kosher restaurant. They have the authentic deli feel to their restaurant and flavor to their food. I come to this place all the time and am just as, if not more satisfied every time. Depending on what I’m craving, I will usually get the Junior Burger which has pastrami, onion rings, avocado and house sauce on it. Literally the best burger… ever. Two of my favorite deli sandwiches include the PLT or the Turkey Club. You can’t go wrong with any one of these three. Their Matzo Ball Soup is also delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone craving some authentic kosher deli food.

Fell for it again… sticky tables and slow service. Not sure how a burger will come out in less than 10 minutes but a turkey club takes 30.

I like the food. I went last night and they were closing. They literally shooed me out and I had to eat fast. Okay, I get that you want to close, but it’s fine if I stay here while you close up! The food was REALLY good, but they made it really fast. Had me wondering just how fresh it was. Will go back and give them another shot.

Good food and usually comes out shortly after ordering. every once in a while there is a long line that might just make you miss your lunch break. also when eating solo they place you at a small table in the middle of the room. could feel a bit uncomfortable as everyone looks at you…

My favorite kosher deli in LA by far. Their food is amazing and really worth the price compared to other kosher restaurants. I almost always get the deli burger and ask for extra pastrami(it really makes it so much better). If I decide that I really want to treat myself, I would get my friend with chili on top. Their chili is to die for. I’ve never had kosher chili that tasted this good. It comes with a side of fries which make it a pretty good portion as well. If you’re looking to get something to share with someone, I would say get the turkey club sandwich. It is HUGE and definitely something you’d want to have with another person. The sauces that are on the tables are a MUST. They have a thousand island and ranch sauce that is addicting. Just writing this review is making me want to go there right now and grab a burger.

Food is great but service really sucks. I come here on my lunch hour several times a month. It takes a good 10 minutes for someone to even pay attention to you. The food takes a long time to come out. Waiters are not the brightest bulbs. The places is really under-staffed, especially around lunch time. On the other hand, the food is really good. There pastrami and corned beef are great for a kosher place. My favorite is their Cobb salad.

The food is reliably good. Though they are on the pricier side, they serve nice-sized portions that are fresh and tasty. The Cobb salad and deli burger are personal favorites. Split pea soup is good too. Service is also good. They’ve had the same people working there for years — a good sign.

After all my friends telling me about this place, I knew I had to try it. I went with a group of 6 people, which was perfect because I don’t think they have any booths or tables that fit more than 6(not a very big place!). I ordered the hot pastrami on rye with mustard and added lettuce, tomato, and onion. It was really good! We also ordered a curly seasoned french fry for the table… actually, I lied. We got 2 because the first one was so good… we were 6 people though! ;) I wouldn’t say the service is that great and neither is the atmosphere. Also, I saw a microwave as we were walking out, which makes me nervous. I wonder what they microwave? Probably the«random» things on the menu that not many people order. I would stray from those anyways since you want it to be fresh food you’re getting. Overall, if you’re looking for a yummy hot kosher pastrami sandwich and don’t care about atmosphere or service, this is a good place to try.

Aside from the deli being Kosher, i really can’t say they have a good atmosphere or menu. turkey just wasn’t fresh roast. many of their ingredients just don’t compare to NYC type deli’s.

Yes, dear friends, there is some sense of civilization in Los Angeles. But only some. PKD holds its own when compared to most New York kosher delis. Most of its offerings rival what New York City kosher delis offer. Yes, New York City sets the standard. The corned beef, pastrami, brisket, burgers, chicken and soups are superb. They’re not quite up to Bernstein on Essex superlatives, but still quite good. But. It’s still LA. On a a recent visit for a Sunday lunch, there just wasn’t any corned beef. What? C’est impossible. A kosher deli sans corned beef? On a Sunday? And the service was far worse than indifferent. Most, servers are extremely helpful and are quite familiar with a loyal clientele. This is a place where servers know patrons by name and are generally familiar with asking a patron if he or she wants the regular. But, when we visited on that Sunday, the servers were indifferent, largely absent and inattentive. Appetizers were served after main dishes, 2 out of 3 of us were served promptly. The third was served a good 30 minutes later. The servers hewed to their indifference. I finally commented to the proprietor who graciously apologized. Some stuff here doesn’t quite work. The hot dogs, for example are just not up to snuff. Sauerkraut is ersatz. Skip this staple, I suggest. Fries good. Onion rings better. Yes, it’s a taste if real civilization. I encourage you to go, but be patient. It’s still LA.

I never had pastrami sandwich with so much holes in the meat! I asked if they make their own Pastrami and they don’t, it comes in a package which they re-heat! And it is not a quality meat either, thus all the holes in my meat! I did not feel I was eating in a clean place either. My sandwich was so salty, I have the ½ away. The pickles were limp. Coleslaw bland! Service minimal! Not sure why they get 5 stars from some of the reviewers! It does not seem kosher to me! Will not go back, defiantly not a quality deli!

Ordered from these guys today via Doordash, which was an experience in itself, however, I ordered a cold roast beef sandwich and some chopped liver. The sandwich was 12.95 and I got a whole sandwich as opposed to a half, but what I got was not worth 12.95 it was a sandwich that should not have cost more than 8.00 max, if I had not ordered the whole sandwich I literally would have been able to eat something else. Won’t be returning, I will stick to Labels Tables or go to the market and make my own at home.

The food is OFFTHECHAINAMAZING! Get the steak sandwich on a bun with pastrami(ask for the pastrami crispy) it is so good. The junior burger is also amazing. They are usually pretty open and have great service
