I had been looking to visit a latino type market and found this one down the street from my house. It definitely comes in handy for some spices and types of meat I look for at times. This isn’t your biggest market but it has a little of everything in it. It has fruits and veggies section, all canned items and spices section, and it does have a fresh meat section which is awesome. I bought the prepared boneless chicken and I must say, a little on the salty side, but it was tasty. I would recommend this location to everyone in the neighborhood looking for those items that you just cant find at Vons or smaller market chains. I will be back to this place for sure. They also have plenty of parking here.

Its what you expect out of a Mexican meat market. The marinated Chicken and Flap Steak wasnt the best I have ever had, but it did not dissapoint either.

Very reasonably priced meat market for carne asada and chorizos. Very cool meat guys who make sure you are happy. Try the green and red salsas! Lots of good Central American and Mexican foods. Lots of cheap veggies and fruits.

Great place to go when you’re needing that 1 ingredient missing for tonight’s dinner. Think Mexican market: fairly clean, butcher section, produce section, overall small market selection but will most likely have what you’re looking for. It’s about the size of a 7 – 11. Convenient enough that you can zip in & out of the place. Now that’s hard to do in LA, folks! Bargain prices for produce & the best part is you can buy as little or as much as you want. Some examples: Roma tomatoes — 4lbs /79 cents Italian parsley — 39 cents /bunch eggplant — 79 cents /lb green onion — 30 cents /bunch They also had tofu(a little pricey) for $ 1.99. $ 4 total spent and got everything I needed for tonight’s dinner. Who doesn’t like bargains these days?

This place is small, but if you are thinking about doing a carne asada, then this is a place to go and get your basic ingredients. Aside from this, Jaritos drinks are sold, which is really cool, and mesquite charcoal is also sold. I dunno, if you are into Latin American food then this is the place to and look for your ingredients. They also have nopales and stuff like that.

I love having a market I can walk to. This is a little Mexican market(can I say that?) with a small selection of produce, a good selection of stuff I can use in a pinch(dry, canned, fridge, yada yada) and a nice little meat counter where they have some killer salsa, too. And stuff is pretty cheap. We don’t do big shopping trips here, though. I don’t think I’ve ever spent more than $ 15 here, but like I said, so nice to have the backup store when needed.
