So I walk in to pick up my order and I asked the lady how long it will take. The lady there said it would take 15 minutes next thing you know I’m waiting an hour. I asked the lady again and she said it would take a moment. And then another group came in front of me and got their food before me and they just ordered. And then I went to the lady and ask her when will the food be out and she said it’s ready in one minute. 10 minutes later she just started my food. Please do not come to this place is the worst service and they don’t care about you also the food is bad

My husband and I have been come here since they opened. We were delighted with the fresh food and bread. Due to my food allergies I am limited to the places I can eat. I’m allergic to beef, chicken and a ton of other fun food items. So this place is a great little neighborhood gem. Their one waitress is always pleasant regardless of how many people she is serving. The one woman making the bread from scratch ALWAYS has a ready smile for you when she makes eye contact with you. Now. I’ve said all that to say this. I came back one day without my husband. This is after maybe 15 – 20 times. I am African American. My Husband is White. While I was waiting my turn to pick up my order the owner was helping the guests ahead of me. There were 2 other people in front of me. He helped them with no problem. When it was my turn he looked at me like I literally had crap on my face and walked away. He went to the back where I could see him and stood there and watched me. He didn’t move. I thought I was getting punked. There was no way that this was happening to me. But alas it was. So the kind bread lady literally looked so embarrassed. She signaled to the waitress after watching me for awhile. The waitress looked at the owner. She then proceeded to ask me if I was waiting to pick up my order. I informed her that I was. She apologized and said that she was sure this was it. This being the only call in order sitting there. She rang me up and gave me my food. As she rang me up the owner continued to stand there with a look of «whatever» on his face. If I wasn’t so shocked I would have just walked out without the damn hummus and bread. After I shared what happened with my husband he reminded me about the incident with the owners son. I guess his son is dating out of his race right now and the owner is not too happy about it. If the son happens to read this GOODFORYOU! I don’t know if the father/owner thought I was the girlfriend so he was giving me the evil stank eye or if he is truly a racist. I do know that before that day I had never had a negative encounter with him but again. I’ve never been in there without my «white» husband before. :/

So, I made an order on the Unilocal page for two meals and they charged me for two meals. An hour later I received it but they only brought me one plate. I called to let them know but the language barrier was so thick that I could not get anything fixed. The food tasted okay which is why I give it two stars but it wasn’t hot.

The best kosher resteraunt. Period. Their food is fresh and delicious. So many options to choose from. They are also very generous with their appetizers. Also have healthy options if you are on a diet like me

The food is fresh and cooked to order. Pita and multiple salads are given while waiting for food. The meat is grilled and the laffas are filled with humus, eggplant, tahina, Israel salad. The filtered ice cold water in a large clean glass is the best in Los Angeles. Joseph was friendly and brought extra laffas to improve our meal.

Very disappointing. Heard some good things about this place. $ 55 dollars later for three entrees, the beef was 50% grizzle, and the chicken undercooked dark meat with little flavor. The lamb shwarma was weird tasting. The cooking area looks like a total mess. This should have tipped Me off to leave immediately. I would not recommend this place in the future.

Waitress was a joy!!! The food is fresh, hot, delicious. The hummus is made fresh and one of the best I’ve tasted. Calm, mellow environment. Turkish coffee is to die for. Delish!

Hands down best falafel ever. The food here is awesome and so are the people that work here. It’s not over priced either, for a little over 10 bucks I was full and even had food to take home :)

Delicious full flavored home cooked cous cous soup! Also loved their schnitzel plate that I had yesterday!

Food selection is good and authentic, and the price is comparable to other low-end Mediterranean restaurants in the valley. But the flavors are just nonexistent. Nearly everything we tasted was bland, unfortunately.

Food is delish! I’m usually picky with middle eastern food since I grew up around it & eat it all the time but this place is really good! Love their falafel lafa! It’s so flavorful and satisfies my craving. Ordered delivery from here twice & both times it was great :)

I had the chicken kabob pita sandwich. It was big and filling but ask for the sauce on the side or it becomes a big soggy mess. It was $ 10.53 to be exact for a pita sandwich that was good not great. I dont mind paying for a delicious meal but this was just okay and it was only a sandwich with no sides. The bread they bring to the table is pretty awesome tho. Not likely to come back. Also took long and the place was empty.

Very good place to stop in and eat lunch, Free 1 hour parking right on the street is awesome too! The food was great, very flavorful and delicious. The service was very prompt. Just about every minute the server came by and checked on our drinks and if the food is alright. I will definitely be back here and highly recommend it.

Delicious authentic middle eastern food with so many extras! The in house bread is very tasty and they have so many small apps and plates to choose from. Its also nice to have another delicious and reasonably priced Kosher restaurant in the area! I would recommend the Chicken Shawarma, so tasty! Only con, parking can be a bit difficult since it is on a busy street!

Sorry Pita Village but I didn’t have a great experience. I ordered a falafel pita sandwich. A minute after I ordered was told there is «no pita,» but they can do a laffa for the same price. This place is called PITAVILLAGE! Okay, I said. The wrap was just ok. Falafel a bit soggy and bland but edible. Server(brunette woman) brought my check and looked at it, then put it on the table for me. Charged full price for laffa. She corrected it when I pointed it out but I kinda feel like she was hoping I wouldn’t notice. It’s not the price so much as she TOLD me I would be charged the cheaper price. It’s the principle!

Chicken Shawarma! My previous statement definitely over simplifies this establishment, but if you haven’t been here before I recommend that as a starting place. It is a thing of beauty, and is unrivaled by any of the local competition. There is a depth of spice and an extra dripping of fat you just don’t find elsewhere. If given a choice between pita and laffa, go for the laffa. They make this fresh all day long. The dough is stretched over a pillow of sorts and slapped onto the side of an extremely hot ceramic oven. It cooks for the amount of time it takes to grab the tongs and pull it out. Casual

Pretty disappointed. Paid 16 bucks for some foil wrapped chicken rice and salad(cut up cucumbers and tomato). First of all, atmosphere. Clean, nice, everything you look for in a restaurant. Great customer service too. Next, where the heck is my hummus?! I’m at a Mediterranean place paying 16 dollars for a smidgen of chicken and no hummus? That’s wrong. The chicken wasn’t amazing. The rice was good. Wouldn’t eat here again.
