It was by complete coincidence that I ended up here after running into a friend, who heard about this place from someone’s sister(random, I know!). Overall, it was a good time. Sure, it’s this random warehouse down the street from a strip club but it costs you nothing to get in. They sell cocktails and a ‘donation’ is suggested — it’s decent price for a decent cocktail. You then sit in some folding chairs, scoot up to the person next to you, and get ready for a night of who-knows-what. It’s onviously the comedians who make this place — they’re the hit or miss factor of it all. I came on a pretty good night. There were a couple comedians who were just not funny but I shall not name them(…not cuz I’m nice, but because I can’t remember their names); Ali Wong was my favorite, though. It’s a rotating schedule, so if you don’t like this month’s line-up, then come next month. It’s a pretty cool spot to discover those up-and-comers who will probably have their own special on Netflix soon. Check it out. It’s free to get in. What do you have to lose?

I’m a visitor to this warehoue-ish space(also someone’s home pretty sure) once a month for the Good Looks Comedy Show. Open space, laid-back crowd, folding seats(for 60ish? I’m a bad guesstimator) and standing room in the back. The show is pretty great and offers beers and some cocktails. Comics are pretty good and range in style. Also wonderful about the show– 100% free! Parking is just on the street. I’m here almost every show so come say hi if you see me :) and then we will proceed to laugh and be merry and this wonderful dtla secret
