BEWARE! I’ve ordered online an El Ultimo Grito for $ 121 back in March. The order was confirmed and my credit card charged. When the product did not arrive I sent emails. I received emails back telling me that their container was stuck in customs and that it will take a number of weeks. A few weeks later, more tales. At a certain point they stopped answered my emails and they do not pick up the phone. I HAVENEVERRECEIVEDMYMONEYBACKEVENTHOUGHTHEYNEVERSENTMEWHAT I PAIDFOR.

This is the first review I’ve ever written on Unilocal,and I hate to do so under these circumstances. Their customer service is horrible. After unresponsive emails, inability to contact someone live, and broken website promises, the«manager» remained defensive and unapologetic. His only solution was to offer me a credit for ½ the shipping, which per their website, I was entitled to anyway. They promised shipping within 1 – 3 weeks, and didn’t deliver. Instead, they blamed it on manufacturing delays. I never received a status on my order, even after I sent repeated emails asking for when I can expect my paid item to be delivered/shipped. At one point, they offered to ship another item instead, to which I declined and they still didn’t provide a status as to when(or if at this point) I would get my order. Finally, after not hearing from them for over 2 weeks(3 weeks since I paid for my order), I canceled my order via email(I wasn’t able to get a live person on the phone). After I sent my email, my order was shipped per the UPS tracker. After explaining the above facts to the«manager» he still didn’t feel that they had done anything wrong. In fact he told me that if I returned the item I would be charged full shipping and a 10% restock fee. Needless to say, I won’t be ordering from these guys again.
