This is a truck that i see every time I walk down Stoner Ave. to Trader Joe’s, which is sometimes every other day. I have bought maybe some pineapple and papaya here, usually when the larger stores don’t carry it. They do carry mexican-specific products such as tomatillo, cactus, mexican baked good and sweets. I find that their produce is more ripe than the produce at Ralphs or Vons, and sometimes cheaper. I like supporting smaller businesses and If you’re around the hood. It’s there from around 11am-7pm, be aware, hours and days fluctuate. If you’re looking for certified organic, look somewhere else. I have seen another one of these«supposedly» stationary produce trucks in the neighborhood, and they do seem to cater to the hispanic residents in the neighborhoods they park.
