they have great taste and great furniture, but maybe cuz i only spent 4k on a chair and fabric, i had to basically beg them to call me back on my next project. i was using them to recover the original chair that i had bought from them, and i didn’t even get a call back on when we could schedule a pick up etc… they explained later that it was because they weren’t sure when they would have time… but u would think that it would not have taken 4 calls and numerous emails to find this out. if i was one of their celebrity clients, i am sure they would have had time to quickly call back and update me. in any case, i used another place to recover that was literally half the cost and did a great job… so it was a blessing in disguise. (i used First Impression)… and this place got it done in 3 days and was so responsive with calls and checking up. maybe portabella hasn’t been hit by the economy enough.

I LOVE THIS STORE!!! The jewelry is incredible (especially the earrings) and the prices are great! This place is like a hidden secret that is waiting to be found!

I honestly love this store. I love the clothes they have, I love the furniture and home goods, I love the jewelry. But it’s so pricey!!! Expected for a Brentwood boutique shop, I suppose. The ladies that work her are super friendly and always have a smile on their face. If you tell them that it’s a gift they’ll wrap it really nicely for you too, with many ribbon colors for you to choose from. I can’t really afford this place, it’s only for super special occasions. But I love to browse and like Hannah M. says, they let you browse as much as you want, guilt free!

I love their style! Very elegant but still chic.
I live very close and sometimes pop in for inspiration. It’s probably TMI but I just can’t afford to buy this stuff at this time in my life. I really need to buy a house. (Or in Brentwood, a small condo would do.)
Even though I never buy they are always very nice and let me look around without making me feel bad. Thanks!!! :)
I always walk but I think they have validated parking as well as the street.
