Primetime was recommended by an associate of mine when I informed him my fiancé’s parents were searching for a watch on my behalf.
I arrived late Saturday morning feeling antsy and was disappointed the owner was already helping a potential client. I learned a lot about this interaction. All calculations — based on a complex derivative of race and appearance — deduced the «client» was a waste of time. However, Me-te’s (Mike) level of service was impressive. He thoroughly took the time to educate the client regarding diamonds and worst case scenario, the guy is that much more informed for next time.
Comforting to know his level of service is first class and treats all clients the same. I caught them on the tale-​end and it was now my turn.
He offered me coffee, soda or water and asked me what I was looking for (Rolex DeepSea: Sea-​Dweller). Please note: he doesn’t have any luxury watches on display but can find whatever you need. Me-​te (Mike) like a true capitalist encouraged me to shop around JD as well as retail (I did) but I was back exactly a week later. His prices were easily the most competitive.
I have already told my friends about Primetime and I will be back for our wedding bands.
Tip:
–Structured parking available on the corner of 6^th and Broadway, on Broadway’s side of the street. Parking entrance is located directly underneath a «St. Vincent» sign. Parking is not validated but not rape prices
–check retail and other JD businesses to get a gauge before going

Awesome people. I came across this hidden gem while shopping for my fiancé’s engagement ring in downtown’s jewelry district. Mike and Tom informed in easy-​to-​understand plain English the ins and outs of diamonds, gold, platinum, and even premium brand watches. They showed me what to look for in jewelry and showed me how to make sure I got the best deal. I took their advice and shopped around and could not find any other store that offered their level of service.
They gave me prices much below what everyone else in downtown L.A. was quoting. And of course, much more reliable and lower priced than all of the most reliable websites.
The look on my fiancé’s face when I proposed was simply priced I just bought and received all of my wedding jewelry and gifts through Mike. For this, I thank Mike and Tom. I will most definitely be back.
