I’m so sad to read these reviews! I’ve had nothing but luck with this place! Maybe it’s a cultural thing or maybe it’s a language thing but nevertheless, I ordered all 6 of my bridesmaid dresses from Princess and was very satisfied and happy with them! I was able to get a great price for buying 6 dresses and was able to return two for different sizes as not all the bridesmaids were there to try on initially. But I did ask if exchanges were available BEFORE purchasing AND had them write it on the receipt. They even met me in the middle to exchange so that I didn’t have to drive all the way back up to LA.
I was so satisfied with the help and service that I referred another friend who purchased all of her bridesmaids dresses there too and had no problems and I will be returning again with 2 more brides in the next few months.
Getting things in writing and asking all the questions beforehand is my best recommendation as you are shopping in LA garment district and not a regular retail store.

I am not one to do these type of things but in my life have I ever had something of this kind happen, went on Wednesday to get dresses for my sisters 15 court… 2 girls from the court left a deposit and 2 others would go today to leave their deposit when they went they were asked for more money and said if not given they would cancel the order when that wasn’t part of the contract and take in mind they hadn’t even given us the dresses we were just ordering. Charging for something that wasn’t even ready. I talked to the «owner» on the phone said I wanted my money back and that I would pick it when I went she treated me with such disrespect called security like if I was attacking her which I wasn’t! All I wanted was my money back didn’t want to do business with people like this! They refused to give me my money back because of their «no refund policy» i don’t care about the money I just want everyone to be aware of how bad this place is! All they want is money and invent dumb excuses to not bring you things if the deposit was such a little amount why did they take the money in the first place! Wish I would of read all these bad reviews before coming here.

I bought 9 bridesmaid dresses here, and I had to exchange one of them because it was the wrong size. I came back another day and the lady that worked there refused to exchange it. It was never worn, had all tags attached and in the bag as it was given to me and she refused to return it. She said that I would have to buy a new dress and that i would have to pay full price since the price she had originally gave me was for buying in bulk. She is so rude and unhelpful, no consideration what so ever. I will never buy from here again and I encourage you all not to buy from here. If you do you better make sure that it is exactly what you order because they refuse to make any exchanges or help customers out. The worse customer service I have ever experienced!!!

one of my cousin got her prom dress here and she said she recommended her friends too and they all had really good experience. So I decided to go here to shop for my bridesmaid. I got my mom’s dress, bridesmaid and even for my reception gown too. I really liked them they were so nice and helpful and they gave me really good deal since I got several. Of course I checked other stores too but they were not really nice to help me with sizes and trying it on. I strongly recommend this store to others. THEY ARE ONE OF THE BEST IN DOWNTOWN.

If I can give it a .5 star I would! On 8÷10÷14 I ordered 6 dresses for my daughter’s Sweet Sixteen Event! I was promised the dresses by 8÷20÷14. I was NOT called to be informed that my dresses where not in. So on ⁸⁄₂₄ I came in to p/​u & dresses not ready! Then I was told my order was going to be delayed 2 – 3 WEEKS! On Thurs 9÷4÷14 I get a call saying the dresses are in! Yeh, I go the following day, Friday all to find out they STILL DID NOT HAVE THEM! Very frustrated as I need the dresses to match the boys bow ties & vest for tux! The daughter, Yuni was VERY RUDE! The owners, Ms. & Mr. Lee are very hard to understand & work with! I DO NOT recommend this place! They are very un-​trusty!

Really BAD store! The employees at this store have no idea what they are doing, cant even tell from one size to the other. I came in tried on a dress, they gave me a size that I had to pre-​order because they did not have it in-​stock. Went to pick it up a week or so later, took it home and tried it on and it DIDNT fit!!! WTH, was my first reaction! But I kept calm because I was sure the owner of the store would let me exchange it, since it was their fault in the first place for giving me an x-​small when I was a regular small. I called and she refuse to exchange it for me. Not only am I stuck with a dress that doesn’t fit but now am stuck with the dilemma of finding a new dress! So unprofessional!

I got my Prom dress here and it is so beautiful. And a great price too! Only $ 69 for a white high-​low formal dress. Very nice workers.
Only downside was a piece of the dress fell off after prom but i was able to glue it back on. (its downtown la quality though so this wasn’t unexpected)

After 2 hours of shopping for prom dresses on Santee Street, seeing the same dresses in every store and trying on several badly-​made dresses, we were on our way back to the car and walked by Princess. The displays were so nice and uncluttered that my daughter immediately found 2 dresses she loved and decided to try them on. A delightful sales clerk helped us and let us know which colors they had in the styles we liked. As my daughter tried on the dresses, I told the clerk to just tighten the corset back so we could get a sense of the fit. She insisted on tightening every loop saying we needed to see the real fit of the dress and she was right. She also told us we needed XS instead of S and she was right about that as well. Both dresses were gorgeous and so well made. We found out the clerk was the daughter of the owner and her mother also got involved in helping us choose. One liked one dress, one liked the other, but they were both delightful and so helpful and attentive.
We couldn’t decide between the 2 so we left to think about it and felt no pressure from the clerks when we didn’t buy anything. We then came back the next morning with my older daughter to help us choose. We actually saw 3 more beautiful dresses but decided not to try them on since the first 2 were so perfect. Another lovely clerk helped us and, again, took all the time to correctly fit the dress. We paid $ 179 for a dress that I think is more beautiful than the $ 300-​$ 500 dresses we saw in retail stores. Finding Princess turned our disappointing, tiring afternoon into a great experience.
