Well they are not to friendly, I want to excuse them because it might be cultural thing. Came to cash in my buy 1 get one for a dollar, but the lady here has no knowledge of it. She been looking at me like I’m crazy since I walked in the door. So you know they get a low score on customer service. I ordered my coffee about 5 minute ago and she is just now starting to making it for me. Keep in mind, no one is in here. Wow, she being really rude. She acting like she doesn’t want to make my coffee. I’m just sitting here patiently. I will not be coming back here. Funny yesterday when my Korean friend came and got coffee, she raved about the place. No problem with her Unilocal deal. Still waiting. Wow !!! I expected a better experience. I wrote this and still don’t have my coffee.

I’m rating this based in the cheapness of the wine. It has a pretty nice interior with highback booths — nice if you want privacy. However, it was completely dead with the exception of some older Korean ajumas and ajjushis. Recommend to go if you need to have a private conversation or for a very very quick drink.

Awesome décor and lounge chairs, decent drink specials during happy hour, lackluster food. With a groupon($ 15 for $ 30) we ordered a bottle of wine which was pretty good. We were also there during happy hour so we ordered the fries and chicken wings. Both items were over fried and I could not taste anything but oil, sadly. They only had 3 food items on this happy hour menu, so I would not recommend coming here to eat off the HH menu. Our waitress was the only one in the entire restaurant and was very stand off ish. But I did like the large purple chairs which are great for an intimate setting.

Such a cozy, chic, and intimate atmosphere to take a date or just a one on one convo with a close buddy. The service was on point, and moscato was beautiful! What a hidden gem among all the craziness in k-town.

My second time here was a complete disaster. Not only did the place smell but the service was extremely unprofessional. Our server brought out one stained menu with multiple typos for my entire party. When we asked for more she kindly told us they had«run out» which didn’t make much sense considering the fact that the place was empty – my friends and I were one of two parties there that afternoon. Unfortunately, I cannot say much about the food/drinks because we ended up leaving minutes after being seated(yes, it really was that bad). I suggest you avoid this place at all costs!

Nice and cozy spot hidden in a random Korean hotel. Interior was made up well and was shocked that not a lot of people were there. I used my check-in offer and got a bottle of wine getting the second bottle for only $ 1. Good deal.

This place is a hidden gem :) It’s located INSIDE the Garden Suite Hotel, so I feel like not many people know about it. I came across this place through an article online about their grand opening. More than anything else, it was the name that first caught my attention because I LOVEPURPLE :) And being located in Koreatown with such a cute name, I just knew that the place would be great. It’s definitely not hard to find this place because you can’t possibly miss the garden suite hotel. You can park for free inside the hotel parking lot and take the elevator into the lobby where purple wine & coffee is located. I went on a Saturday and it was very quiet. The interior was REALLY nice. I have to say its very girly. Probably a very nice place to come with a date or a group of girlfriends. The lady that was working there was very attentive to us. She made sure we never ran out of cheese while we drank our glass of wine. :) My complaint here is that they have no happy hour :(Wine selections are kind of pricey, and with their grand opening and all, it wouldnt be such a bad idea to have happy hour sometime during the day. But overall, I liked it here. I’d definitely come back for a drink or two. :)
