Retro Glass is one of my favorite stores in Los Angeles. An authentic antic glass store front in addition to other unique retro style Accessoiries. it’s in a really cool building, a little bit too far south on La Brea, but once you are there, it’s all good. I had to buy a birthday gift for a friend, someone who has everything already, and I found the most amazing ashtray, which was perfect for the occasion. Since then all my glass Accessoiries come from Retro Gallery and I still love everysingle piece I got there. Good selection.

Retro Gallery is amazing the selection here is out of this world!!! Retro is a Hollywood hot spot all the major designers and stars shop here, I read the review on here that said its always empty its true its not a Target no line here but I have been a fan for over 10 years. I’ll name some names I have seen here: Bridgette Fonda Tom Ford wow sexy man Frank Rios designer Drew Barrymore she was shopping up a storm Lenny Kravitz just to name a few. I think this place is famous among the Hollywood elite. I have been a fan since the original location on La Brea off Melrose. You have also seen Retro Gallery product on various TV shows, Movies and commercials. Can’t believe I have not written a review before today. Must see definitely recommend a visit. One of a kind store. parking in front

Retro Gallery puzzles me. It’s always there, yet I’ve been in 2 or 3 times now and I’m always the only one in the store. AND I’m the first to review it! I assume that this place(as most places in town that sell mid-century furniture and accessories or fancy antiques) does much of its business with set designers. Maybe I’ll never know. The reason this is so puzzling is that Retro has the most gorgeous and absolutely VAST selection of beautiful, antique(some old, some new in that style, but a lot of fun older stuff) mid-century lights, lamps, vases, glass and stoneware and table accessories that I’ve ever seen anywhere. The selection is beautiful, if a bit on the pricey side. But considering what fancy furniture and accessory price points these days, I’d say that Retro is by far the best place in LA to accessorize mid-century style. Expect to pay about $ 200-$ 250 bucks for a vase that everyone who walks into your home will compliment. Worth it? I think so.
