My husband and I have been going to Tina and Kelly for over five years. I have natural long nails and Tina keeps them looking great! Tina and Kelly are wonderful profesional Ladies that take their jobs very seriously. They are both great Manicurist and I recommend them to all my friends and clients.

Best gel manicure in town! I’ve been to many places in LA and their mani’s last the longest and always look great! I’ve been going here for about 9 months now and every time I go to another salon out of convenience I regret it… They are flexible with appointments and are always super nice! Highly recommended!

I have been going to Royal Nails for about 5 years. Tina(the owner) and her sister Kelly are wonderful. They give a great manicure/pedicure for very reasonable prices and they are both super nice and accommodating. I have gotten the gel, silk, and regular manicures there over the years and they always do a great job! It’s a quiet and relaxing environment!

I moved to LA a few months ago and have been trying to find a nail salon like my beloved Montclair Nails in the Bay Area. I have been to 5 salons and Royal Nails is the only place where I can say I’ll go back. Each of the other places I visited acted like they had a blood vendetta against my cuticles and several times I left with cuts that were not only painful they took a week to heal. Also, I perfer slaons without blarring TV’s and music that makes my ears hurt. Tina was pleasant, carried on a nice conversation, which I miss in other salons in LA, her place was clean and there was parking in the back… which I am coming to realize is huge here.

I love to go see Tina or Kelly for my nails! My nails last way longer than anywhere else! Everything is clean and they have a good selection of colors to pick from. I always make a reservation to make sure I will get in right away… I have never had to wait with an appointment. I love the tootsie roll collection for a sweet treat!

UGH. So I moved to LA3 months ago from OC. My nail place out there was literally PERFECT! I have tried several places out here and have been generally dissapointed in each one, but none as much as this thus far. This place SUCKS!!! Not only was there polish on my cuticles and fingers, but its only been a couple days, and the polish is already wearing off. They do a TERRIBLE job at polishing. I get an acrylic overlay so my nails don’t break as easily, and was getting a fill this time, and a part of my nail had lifted. She just put acrylic over it, but anyone who gets their nails done this way knows they are suppose to clip the lifted acrylic off and start anew. So nw I’m sitting here days later, with a nail that is lifting even more :( When I left this place I literally felt I could’ve done a better job myself, and I am horrible at painting! lol Seriously there is 21938 places on westwood, none that I’ve liked enough to review well, but this is the only place I’ve felt compelled to write a poor review on. DONTGO! Unless you want nails you could have done yourself!

HORRIBLE!!! STAYAWAY!!! I called and made an appointment for a polish change at 3pm. I was running late so I called to let them know. I got on the road and traffic was horrible… by the time I arrived it was 3:30. I walk in and tell them that I had an appt with Tina(the owner). Tina looks at me and barks«Yeah and you’re already late! Do you want to pick a color?’(Note that the place is completely EMPTY) I pick a color and sit at her station. She removes my existing polish, buffs my nails, squirts cuticle oil on them then alcohol all over and barely wipes my nails. Then she reaches for the polish to begin painting. Mind you that my nails and fingers are still all oily from the cuticle oil so I ask her if I can wash my hands. She looks up at me with an ugly look, sighs, then barks GO and points to the back where the sink was. I come back and she paints my nails. I like to let the 2 coats of polish dry a little before applying the top coat so I tell her this and she gives me a look and walks away. So I sit there drying my polish and she comes back 1.5 mins later ready to apply top coat. I say again«Can I let the polish dry a bit?» She mumbles something to herself and I ask«What?» and she says«No problem» and walks away. She was acting as if she had 10 customers waiting and needed to get me out of the place. I sit there drying my nails and notice that the polish has become all bubbly! So I tell her calmly and she comes over starts barking that its MYFAULT and it happened because I put my hands too close to the fan. I just ignore her even though all I want to do at this point is PUNCHHERINTHEFACE. She takes out the top coat and applies it to my nails. I tell her that you can still see the bubbles, my nails dont look smooth and I dont like them. She gives me an ugly look and starts BARKING over and over that it was my fault that I put my hands too close to the fan and that you can only see the bubbles a little bit. I tell her again that you can still see the bubbles, my nails don’t look smooth and I don’t like them. Now she gives me and ugly look and BARKS«Ok well I’ll just return your money then!» She«removes» the polish(which was DARK red) and leaves my nails all messed up with dark polish all over my fingers and under my nails. While she’s removing the polish she’s barking about how I made and appointment for 3 and didnt even get her until 3:30. So I tell her«Yeah, but I called to inform you.» So she says«Yeah and all you wanted was a polish change! You said you wanted a manicure!!»(Which I never said) She takes the cash out of her door and THROWS it at me and mumbles something to herself. All I can say is «EXCELLENTCUSTOMERSERVICE» STAYAWAYFROMTHISPLACE. Tina, the owner is a complete BITCH!!!
