It’s a comfy place to chill and talk to your buddies over soju or beer. Crowd not overly loud and you don’t find yourself screaming at your friends’ ears. It’s pretty spacious to maneuver around so you don’t wake up with bruises around your knees or skins.

They’re happy hour is awesome! 3 dallor draft sapporo. Cant beat that. Food is uhm… its okay. Its a hit or miss. Sometimes its good sometimes its bad. But i think it all depends on what you order. Parking situation is a bi hectic and sucks. You have to valet and sometimes and a lot of the time the valet parking lot gets pulled QUICK because of all the people so you can’t park and you gotta drive around till they open up or you find a space.

3.5 stars Was having a great experience. Until we’ve been ordering off the HR menu and the waitress didn’t tell us it was valid. She even suggested some items of the HR menu. The food is just alright. We had a spicy tuna roll and it tasted old or not that fresh to me? But maybe it was just that day? However, their cheese corn, and japanese fried chicken karage was good! I would highly suggest coming here during their happy hour!

I come here regularly. And for good reason! Amazing happy hour with so many choices and delicious well made sushi. Their uni is fresh, which is hard to find, and the portions are ridiculously huge! Hahahaha. I only wish they had more dessert options, but i will settle for the macaron icecream! Also great service, always prompt and polite and on point!

My friend recommended checking this place out and I would say it is definitely a great spot if you want to grab a couple of drinks at night! The interior was great since there are nicely decorated trees with lights as well as wooden benches which gives it the korean vibe. On weekday nights it is fairly not too crowded, but I heard that in the weekend the wait can be a tough one, so try to check it out during a weekday night and go after 10pm for their Happy Hour! The food portions are really big too! We got the fried chicken salad where it comes with a sauce tray of hot sauce and sesame sauce so you can pick which one you want to dip in. What’s great is that the chicken and salad are separated into 2 bowls. I’m someone who doesn’t eat octopus but apparently they’re famous for their raw sashimi octopus so I gave it a try and WOW it hit the spot. They give you a sauce that has wasabe in it so you take a drink of your sake/soku and eat some of that sashimi and it becomes the perfect pairing.

We finally gave Sake house a try after literally walking by every weekend and were pleasantly surprised. I really liked the vibe here — casual and welcoming, crowded but not too noisy. The space is bright and neatly decorated with an indoor faux tree glowing with string lights — quite different from some other divey bars around. If you like yogurt soju, you’ll enjoy the white peach sake here. I only wish it comes in a bigger bottle. We also had the chicken karaage which was juicy inside and had a nice crunchy crust. Definitely a great hang out spot!

Came here a few times and never not satisfied with the food and quality. Few of my favorites were pork belly salad and honey butter chip. Most skewers taste good too. Try everything on the menu. Worth the try.

Good food + drinks. More Japanese influenced dishes and a lot of sake! It gets packed here since they offer happy hour for a certain time then stop and back again late night. Come here early if you don’t wanna wait. V recommend All their happy hour menu selection are great snacks while drinking ***Pork belly salad Honey butter chip Oysters Intestine stir fried Tako wasabi — cold octopus pieces in wasabi A must try when drinking in ktown if feeling Japanese influenced dishes.

I always eat around here and thought I would give this place a try. I loved it! They have late night happy from 10 – 12. There’s drinks and lots of food choice. We decided to just try their nigiri and it was so good! The prices were very reasonable. They even had alive shrimp that was delicious and it was still moving when they gave it to us. I also tried their cheese corn and it was so cheesy!!! Every spoonful was stretchy cheese. The service was very attentive too. I’ll def be back for more sushi and drinks!

Came here this past Friday night. The place opened at 5pm and we were the first ones there at 5:10. Service was not good even though we were the only customers in there. The sushi chef was constantly coughing into his hands and then making food! We certainly weren’t the only ones to notice because I saw it it in someone else’s review. This is completely unsanitary and disgusting. I was still hungry but certainly not ordering anymore food from this place. The 2 stars is for the whole overall experience. I would give the food 4 starts because it tasted good but it probably wasn’t too sanitary. Also, they gave us a weird old looking sports bottle filled with water which was a little questionable. Would not return here.

Gotta love there happy hour till 8pm and again at 10pm. No matter what food your order, from their sushi, to chicken wings to army soup, everything on the menu is bombdotcom! They have a full bar and a wide selection of sake. I always get kikusui sake. Tastes great and goes down smooth. This is my go to spot any day of the week. The staff is quick and super friendly. They’ll do anything and everything in their power to give you the best experience possible. No matter what day you go, its always poppin. Great music, great vibe, great service. You can’t ever go wrong coming here!

Awesome HH till 8pm and then again at 10pm! This is the perfect spot to come swing by after work for some drinks. I’ve come by several times after work and late night. There’s this blue bottle of sake that can be had for $ 15 to $ 20 and it’s huge! Plenty to serve 3 or 4 friends. The sapporo on draft can be had for $ 3, what else can you ask for? The food, small portions of rolls with quality sashimi can be had for $ 4 or $ 5 dollars to help bring in that alcohol but it’s nothing tooooo special. They also have sashimi carpaccio with quality fish(salmon or yellowtail) with the perfect amount of misc seasoning to make it taste great. The atmosphere is higher energy that is welcoming. There is enough noise so you can be noise but can also serve as a chill date place. Will be back!

Came here for a GALENTINES date and everything was great! Didn’t realize we made it on time for happy hour, so let’s just say we went nuts! The food was fresh and delicious. The service was quick, although we had to wave them down a few times to put our orders in. The food came out super in good time AND the music was dope! Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone who’s looking for a chill place to eat and drink with friends on any night!

I was walking to Snow LA with my boyfriend when I spotted this place. I love sushi rolls so I decided to try them out. It looks great from outside and inside! They play loud music, their lighting is pretty dark, and the environment is just fun! My boyfriend doesn’t like sushi so I had decided to get it to go. I’m so glad I did! I ordered a spicy tuna roll and a salmon avocado roll from their Classic menu. They were both $ 7 and well worth the money! The spicy tuna was really spicy but I loved it! And you can’t go wrong with the salmon avocado roll. Their sushi is so yummy. Overall, it was a great experience. The staff attended to us immediately after we walked through the door. They gave us the menu to look at rather quickly as well. Then they sat us near their other entrance(or exit?) and the person that cashed me out told me it would be 10 min. In actuality it was probably less than 5 min. The food was great, their vibe was awesome, and the staff was friendly! If you love sushi and the nightlife vibe this place is for you.

Love coming here, happy hour or not. But Happy hour mostly, lol Service is great & fast. I like that that they really pay attention to you, they are on top when you run of out water or need anything. The food is good; I always go for the baked salmon roll, oysters are a must, salad(all salads are great) along with a bottle of soju! And any or should I say ALL rolls are good too. Street parking is a pain around that area sometimes. Something I really don’t worry about because luckily I’m walking distance. Check it out if you’re in the area!

(Good) late night sushi is hard to come by. Luckily Sake House is open late and is of high-quality. Well worth the drive to K-town from BH if I’m feeling the need to consume some raw fish at a late hour. This place is almost always busy and the atmosphere is great. The fish is «fresh», and the other items are equally as tasty. Also very good sake selections! If you’re in the area(or not), swing by to fulfill your late night(or day) cravings!

I love this place! The first time I came here was Halloween night around midnight. It was pretty cracking but we mostly drank instead of eat. The second time I came back was on a Sunday and this time around we tried many dishes. Their service is always on point and it is a very fun environment. The later it gets, the louder the music. I really didn’t expect places/bars like this would have good food but they definitely do! *They have Happy Hour everyday 5pm-8pm and10pm-midnight. Super awesome! What’s even better is they don’t skimp out on the portion even if it is HH. Oysters 5⁄5 — Decent size and FRESH Amaebi 3⁄5 — Not bad, but I’ve had it better somewhere else. Still good though and of course they fry the heads for you Mussel soup 4⁄5 — This is perfect to get at the end of your meal to warm up your stomach after all the drinking you’ve done. It has a nice kick to it. Chicken wings 5⁄5 — Crispy with great flavors. It was so good our table had 2 orders! Sex in the City roll 3⁄5 — It was good but not one of my favorite dish we had Sashimi salad 3⁄5 — I love how they still give you a good amount of fish even though this was on their Happy Hour menu. It was good! Pork belly salad 5⁄5 — Again, they don’t skimp out on the pork belly even though this dish is on the HH menu, but their dressing blew me away. Very light yet refreshing. A fav! Seafood pasta — 3⁄5 Very creamy and delish Chicken gizzards skewers — 3⁄5 Pretty chewy lol but good. Baked salmon roll 5⁄5 — One of my favorite rolls. It comes out with the fire blazin’ away which was so interesting but it tastes even better! They brought out honey butter chips for us that was on the house. It was so good and pretty interesting. Basically they’re just chips with glazed with sweetness goodies. We also got a pitcher of beer and a large bottle of sake. Our total for 5 after all that food/drinks was only $ 46/person, INCLUDING tip. Waaaaaaah? So cheap! If I live closer I’d probably be here multiple times a week!

This is definitely my top 1 favorite place to get our drinks on right now. I’m embarrassed to admit how often my friends in ktown and I come here hahahahaha. It is our go-to spot. They have seating downstairs, upstairs, and private rooms. My visits here would be mostly after work on weekdays or late night on weekends. Their Happy hours are 5 – 8 pm, then 10pm-midnight everyday. My favorite items on the Happy hour menu are: Oysters! Small yummy oysters — I hate the big ones. 4⁄5 Tako Wasabi are Small cuts of octopus that is smothered in Wasabi sauce. Perfect pairing with any sake! 5⁄5 Gangster Roll! My fav spicy tuna roll here 5⁄5 If you want something more filling, get the Pork Belly Salad. They give you a generous portion of pork with salad, and the sauce is the perfect compliment. 5⁄5 I love the Kikusui Junmai Ginjo Sake. It’s the big 720ml light-blue bottle. Only $ 26 during happy hour. omg. so cheap. I love Sake house because even though most people come here to hang out and get some drinks in, their food is really good for«bar food». Here are some of my fav items that are not on the HH: Spicy Clam soup is actually pretty spicy for how it looks lol. It has a good kick to it. my fav soup here. 5⁄5 The live shrimp and lobster are also good. They fry the shrimp head after, which I will never eat. But quality was good. 4⁄5 I find it funny/weird that they now have spam and eggs hahahaha. I don’t understand why anyone orders that at restaurants??? But apparently many people do lol. Also, another go-to is the popcorn chicken. Can’t go wrong with popcorn chicken. 4⁄5 During the day time, it’s pretty empty. But at night time this place get packedddd, So don’t be surprised if you don’t get any seating during their peak hours. Overall, I love this place, for the food, the vibes, the ambiance, and most importantly, the staff!

Chill, happening place in the heart of K-town, it’s in the same plaza thing as Kang Ho Dong Baekjeong and Quarters. Valet parking is $ 3 with validation. Street parking is really hard to find. :/ A few great things about Sake House: — Nice vibe and ambience. The décor’s cool with strung lights and all. There’s a bar to one side and tables/booths throughout the rest of the place. — Staff is really attentive, in a good way. They on definitely on their water refill game. Overall service is great. — Great happy hour! From 5 – 8, and they have a late night happy hour from 10 till midnight, too! Happy hr menu has some rolls in addition to drinks. — The food is really good and most of it is for sharing. My friend and I ordered the fish cake soup, jalapeño shrimp rolls, cheese corn, and calamari. I’ve had the avocado shrimp roll before, too and it tastes really fresh! Great for a chill night out with friends or a casual date!

THEPLACETOBE! Came here w/friends that recommended it when we we’re visiting Socal a couple weeks ago. This place gets packed like CRAZY! They had a wait list going… this place it dim & there are two doors to get in but the main door W/the host stand is in the insides of the plaza that it is in. This place has very high ceilings w/a second floor of tables & little private rooms against one side of the wall. They even have a fresh fish tank filled w/sweet shrimp, lobster, & abalone! We we’re taken into one if the private rooms which was cute & it was happy hour as well which may also explain why it was SOJAMPACKED in there too. Our server came by & got some waters for us to start then the ordering began as we started off w/4 hungry hippos that turned into 6 total. There were multiple serversbthat came by & took our order & made sure everything was good. One thing that may have been a bit of a wait was our oysters as it was not put in… so we didn’t get the HH price but they totally made up for it in other ways. HHGARLICEDAMAME $ 5 — for 5 bux I would have to say they give you a great amount &SPECTACULAR flavors! Just couldn’t stop putting them in my mouth! SWEETPOTATOTEMPURA $ 9 — as simple as it is I freaken LOVEIT! Thinly thinly sliced sweet potato deep fried & frosted all over w/powdered sugar! HHTAKOWASA $ 5 — again another great deal & larger portion compared to what I would get at other places for a higher price. OYSTERS $ 22 — these weren’t my favorite as I like the ones that don’t have that pungent oyster flavor normally but they were okay SAM-GYUPSALSALAD $ 13 — this dish is AMAZEBALLS! just simply thick pork belly chopped up & a nice green onion salad served on the side to eat w/the pork. The pork were chopped into cube size but they were juicy & full of flavor when you bite into them. GGOPCHANGBOKUM $ 13 — perfect ratio of intestine to garlic to veggies. They had enough garlic cloves to go w/the entire dish which is the best because mist places do not put enough. Served w/tobassco & salt w/sesame oil. CHICKENGIZZARD $ 13 — again another dish with good ratio of protein & veggies. They fried the gizzards which made it not dry at all. CORNCHEESE $ 7 — not the BEST corn cheese but it was good… I usually like the plain & simple ones that are a bit sweeter. BACONWRAPPEDASPARAGUS $ 4 — can’t say much cuz you can’t go wrong BACONWRAPPEDRICECAKE $ 4 — love the chewyness of the rice cake! Definitely definitely will be back when in town again! THANKYOUGUYS!
