Évaluation du lieu : 4 West Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA
This place is great. You’d be hard-pressed to think of a more accurate term than the vague«variety store», because this place has a little bit of everything. I live a few blocks away so I come here for all the odds and ends I need — lightbulbs, pencils and notebooks, chaser for drinks, tea towels, etc. It’s not a 99¢ store per se, but everything is pretty cheap and the convenience factor, for me, can’t be beat.

This place is what it is. It’s a 99 cents type of store, but some of the stuff costs more than 99 cents. They actually do have lots of stuff. I got a laundry basket(which you can’t find at the 99 cent store) and some other things. I’ve gotten lots of the cheesy plastic tablecloth material that I’ve actually seen used at top notch restaurants(to get that kitsch chic look) haha. It’s about $ 1.99 a yard. I noticed they actually have multicolored masking tape too, which I got for too much at The Home Depot. The store actually has a nice Latino attendant sometimes. Today, while I was buying three yards of the plastic tablecloth material, he actually went into the back of the store to look for the pattern which I had previously bought. It was in the back because they had put some Xmas ones in the place of some of the regular patterns that were there before. He was very nice about it all. Thanks man!!! Another thing I like about this place is that it’s a hop, skip and a jump away from my apartment!!! If you need to drive here parking in the immediate area is a problem and not free most of the time, but around the corner on Manhattan Place you can usually find a free parking spot.
