By far, the BEST Mediterranean food I have had. I had previously gone to Tulip Café but they are always closed or never serving. So I opted for Sevan Garden Kebab House and am so happy that Tulip Café refused to serve me. I received outstanding customer service and the food was sooooooooooo delicious. This is my new favorite Mediterranean restaurant. What I also loved is that they were in the middle of closing and they were kind enough to seat me and serve. Love this place and the food. Highly Recommended. !!!

Delicious Turkish food! I ordered the combo kabob platter and it was worth every penny. The doner meat was to die for. I’m definitely going back and getting another doner

Wow! If you are a person who love kabob you are in for a real treat. This little hidden gem is an alley. You have limited outdoor seating and plenty of indoor seating. The minute you arrive you are greeted with a hello and a smile. After being seating no more then three minutes they take your drink order and ask you if have any questions on the menu. I would recommend the appetizer platter that comes with hummus, goat cheese, meridian salad and tomatoes. If you love lamb you will be in heaven. No questions one of the best and juicy lamb kabob I had in longtime. They also have great beef kabob or chicken kabob. If you are a person who loves middle eastern food you are in for a real treat. They have several vegetarian too. The only parking you have is private lot or street parking. As the alley does not allow any parking. You feel like you are in NY meat district.

Really good Mediterranean food. They have the usual– kabob, schwarma, hummus. I ordered the chicken kabob plate which comes with salad and the option of white rice or wheat pilaf. The chicken was fresh and juicy. It’s a little hard to find(you can enter through Hill Street and will see a parking lot– it’s at the end of the lot), but if you walk around long enough, people will point in the right direction. Also, very friendly staff and great service.

Amazing place to eat for lunch in Downtown LA. It is situated right in the middle of the financial district in the alley behind St. Vincent Jewelry Center. It is very convenient if you work in or around 650640 buildings. If your looking to dine in they have a pretty big place. Or if your in a hurry its always great to do pick up. The best place to get Doner in downtown I personally love the doner on sesame bread.

I had the luleh kebab… very tasty, good portion. With every meal they give you hummus, pita bread and green salad, which were also very tasty. Love that this restaurant is in the middle of downtown Los Angeles but it feels like you are in a small country village. Such a cute hidden gem! Definitely will be back!

I had food from this place several times at night market festivals, and strangely enough the the food out the tent tasted better than the one at the restaurant, the kebab meat didn’t have that extra crunchy texture. Also, you might want to avoid the rack of lamb, my girlfriend had and it was so bland and dry that she had to dip it in my iskender sauce to get some flavor. If she was rating this place she would give 2 stars, but I loved my plate so I give 4

Great place to pick up some Turkish food. Prices are good and gyros are as good as it gets in this area. I recommend sucuk toast for breakfast/brunch.

First time here. Everyone enjoyed everything. We tried pretty much all the meats and they were all seasoned well, tender, and good. The chicken kabob was my favorite. The hummus and salad, very tasty start and the server was super nice. I’m glad we stopped in to this place located in the cutest ally :)

My first time trying Turkish-Armenian food was interesting. I walked past this place 4 times before wandering into the juice/snack bar portion of the address. Nobody spoke any English, so I let the random dude in a sweatshirt take me deeper into the bowels of the building. What can I say? It was an adventure. The first thing I noticed was the all-male patrons. I came from Bunker Hill so I was in my power suit. That drew some stares. Or perhaps it was the fact that I’m a little Asian woman. I can’t complain because I did my share of looking — Turkish/Armenian guys sure are cute! I tried the Lule plate on the recommendation of a friend. I have no idea what I ate, but every part of the meal was delicious. The spices in the kebab and even the salad were pleasing. I’m definitely open to trying more things on the menu!

I was craving persian food but this place didn’t hit the spot. The chicken was dry, the furniture was cheap, and the salad and pita were plain. I will not be back. There is way better quality mediterranean restaurants downtown that are also holes in the walls that I love much more. I hate giving any place that serves kabobs a negative review but I have to be honest.

First of all, there is no said garden to be enjoyed but don’t worry, the food more than compensates. The place is a dive but that doesn’t divert business because the kabobs are amazing. Never had anything similar to them. I ordered the combo which had sharma, ground beef, chicken, and beef kabobs. I was in meat lovers heaven! From the outside, you would never think that this place kicks ass but if this restaurant has earned its black belt, let me tell you! If you are ever in the jewelry mart in downtown Los Angeles, this is your target restaurant.

I am not a very big fan of Gyros but this place hits the spot with the lamb and doner. Hummus: Nothing special Salad: Lettuce, cucumber, and tomato with a lemon dressing. Doner: Lamb and Beef hamburger type patty with peppery spices. This was my favorite. Lamb: Thin slices of lamb with minimal flavoring. Very savory

Tucked away in St. Vincent Alley, this restaurant is a little sit down hole in the wall. Cute tables. Cute setting. Love the ambiance. Food is great as well. Shared the gyro plate and steak kebabs and both were fantastic. Be sure to get the side of bulgur — well seasoned and absolutely delicious. Don’t forget to ask for their homemade hot sauce! Comes in a siracha bottle but definitely not siracha!

Another great option at the St. Vincent Place/Alley. Just like most of the restaurants in the alley, they serve Mediterranean food. Many menu items to select from with inside and outside sitting. I had the Doner plate(shwarma with brown rice) $ 10.99. Great quality and taste all around, and just the perfect portion size. If you have time, ask to play some of their table/board games. Why not, all the older men that chill here all day do it. Don’t forget to get that Perrier to wash down theMediterranean goodness.
