Sherron is a miracle worker!
I called her last week to set up an appointment the night before I was set to have this important job interview. She was able to fit me in for an appointment that night and transformed my hair into a beautiful style that would boost my confidence for my meeting the next day. She uses amazing products, is very knowledgeable about hair and definitely considers your desires as well as you hair’s health needs. She’s very easy to talk to and willing to lend advice on options for your hair and certain products or treatments.
I’ve been waiting to write the review until I knew for sure, but I GOT THE JOB and I really owe at least some of my success to Sherron and the wonderful work she did on my hair. I was able to go into the interview feeling good and not stressing that my hair was in bad shape. No boring buns for me that day or ever again with Sherron. With my new job, I hope to start a more regular schedule of hair appointments with Sherron so that I can keep my hair looking good and myself feeling fabulous. I am so excited and can’t thank Sherron enough.

Sherron is fantastic! She is personable, communicative, and highly knowledgable in hair styling and hair care. I’ve been going to her at Salon Republic for several months now, where she does my relaxer touch-​up, trim, and blow-​out. She listens and works with you to create the right style and not just what she thinks will look good on you. I would absolutely refer anyone to her because I adore her. Don’t forget to check out her cool line of custom-​made jewelry while you get prettified.

I had a really bad haircut experience with Ms. Dufour. I got a KGB Deal for hair salon services. I called made an appointment and told her I had the deal. I asked for a deep condition and trim (just ends/​even up my hair) with the deal and on the phone she said it was fine.
I went for my appointment and reiterated that I wanted a trim (as little hair cut as possible) with a deep condition (have very dry hair). I have natural curly hair (African American) and had called before buying the deal to confirm that she was experienced with my hair texture.
She didn’t do the deep condition, combed my hair dry (told her I only comb hair when wet and have conditioning product) and gave me a haircut that’s like a boy’s haircut/​helmet. So unhappy with my ‘style’, lack of conditioning and haircut.
I DON’T recommend her services if you have a tight natural hair pattern since she doesn’t seem to know how to work with this type of hair.

I have been a client of Salon Republic’s Lea Mizrahi* for almost a year now (she cuts and colors) and have been seeking for a new Brazilian Blowout specialist who won’t kill my wallet (or melt my credit card, for that matter). Lea referred me to Sherron, the hairdresser across the way. She charged almost ½ the fee of what I was paying at a salon by The Grove and did an AMAZING job! I have short hair so it doesn’t take very long, but she took her time and my hair looks as shiny and straight as it did at the expensive salon. She uses the Brazilian Blowout Original products and gave me the option to have her apply the final masque or let me take it home to use when I first wash my hair myself.
She is a really fun person to get to know, too! I brought a magazine which I didn’t even open and we did he Sunday Crossword puzzle together!

I’m new to LA and I was in need of a new hairstylist. The salon space that Sherron works in just happens to be next to my gym, and by mere chance of walking in fate introduced me to Sherron. She is passionate and very knowledgable about hair, and took the time to really assess my needs. I left feeling and looking like a million bucks – and the next day people stopped me and told me I looked like a movie star! I’ll definitely be back!

I have had my hair beautified by Sherron for the past 21 years! I see her every 3 weeks [without fail!] to have her wash away my gray and it’s a color that is stunning — people stop me on the street to say how beautiful it is! She’s also become a great friend as you can imagine due to the length of time I have been beautified! I’d totally recommend her — and if you are looking for that special brunette-​ish /​red-​ish color, tell her to give you the «Gayle» color! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my hair — and Sherron too!
