Ok. This review is only about COFFEE. They really have fantastic coffee. I have been looking for good coffee since I moved from Seattle where there are tons of great coffee shops. I have been not too happy because coffee shops that I tried in LA were just ok or not so good. I am now happy that I’ve found this café. I had hot decaf Americano. Decaf is hard to be wonderful but my coffee was excellent. I can’t wait to try their real Americano some day. In addition to that, they have free parking and seating area is wonderful with cozy vibe and comfortable wooden tables. I came on Thursday around 2pm and there were tons of seatings. Music is also decent. I will absolutely come back.

My experience here wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great. Just a standard coffeeshop, in my opinion the interior wasn’t super eye catching. I got the iced mocha and it tasted the way I expected, nothing to complain about there. But. nothing about this place really struck me as special, the coffee was decent and the wifi was decent. Everything was just average. I didn’t think it was particularly suited for working or studying only because there are a lot of kids here and it got kind of loud, but maybe if you were in the area and wanted to grab coffee with a friend? Idk. I don’t think I’ll be coming back here but eh, it wasn’t a bad time.

If you need WiFi, look elsewhere. The café is marketed as having free WiFi and even provides the password on your receipt. The network is listed as having«limited connection» and ultimately is useless. When I went to report this to the barista, he kindly informed me that this was a known issue, yet the owner has done seemingly nothing to fix the problem. I would have asked for a refund, but I had already made it halfway through my admittedly well made cappuccino. Part of the«café experience» sold here was the ability to work on WiFi while enjoying a good drink. That is ultimately why I spent money, or else I would have stayed at home and made my own coffee. Very disappointing experience overall.

Came here to study on Thursday afternoon. Parking was FREE! Such a rare find in ktown… the lot entrance is on sunset. I stayed for about 4 hours, and my wifi worked perfectly the whole time. There is a lot of space, and I saw a lot of people having business meetings there. When I first got there, they were playing music at a good level but right when I sat down they turned it up really loud and I found it kind of distracting for working purposes. Free wifi and lots of outlets. I got the cold brew which was average, but my friend got the Lemon Tea which was really good! It tasted just like sweet lemonade, I’ll definitely be getting that next time. Prices are also very reasonable especially considering how most cafes in koreatown jack up the prices a ridiculous amount. The main complaint I had was that it was FREEZING. They turned up the AC so high I felt like I would be sick the next day.

Not trying to ruin their business. But they really need to improve their service. Came here on a Tuesday noon time. Very spacious and only several people in the café. I was thinking to myself this is great. But after I sat down I realized that the music is extremely loud, and mixed with no talking… Super weird, and make the music stand out too much. Then I realize – it sounds so bad!!! I ordered an iced-latte. the coffee tastes bland and I hate it. I said almond milk, and I saw the guy poured in from a milk-bottle-looking bottle(because it has no tag). It does not taste like almond milk. Yet they charge extra for almond milk! I cannot finish it, and have to discard it. Such a waste of money! This place is so sad, so dead, and lack of service. Oh, and the internet was broken the day I was visiting… Call me picky, or it’s just a bad day… I really don’t recommend it and don’t wanna come back again.

Great study spot in Koreatown! FREEPARKING in structure! A great place to study mainly because there is free parking available(not that common in ktown). Although one time the building had a plumbing/flooding problem and we all had to evacuate our cars on short notice — but that’s not this cafes fault. There are tables of various sizes and also bar-style seating along the window. Tables are great for groups and the bar is perfect if you come alone. It might be difficult to find a seat close to an outlet, so I would suggest coming with a fully charged laptop just in case! You order at the counter and pick up your drinks there as well. There is usually just one barista working there, who is very helpful if you need help choosing a drink! Don’t forget to check in for 10% off. I have tried the Homemade Lemon Tea and the Iced Americano. The lemon tea was SUPER sweet, but good regardless. It kind of tastes like lemonade with a hint of tea. I would ask for less sweetener next time if possible. The iced americano was pretty good and strong enough to keep me very awake for studying. I’m not a big coffee person so it’s hard to say how good the coffee was. There’s a key required to use the bathroom in the building which is left on the side of the counter for anyone to take. One issue I’ve had was sometimes the Wi-Fi would be difficult to connect to. If your work requires strong internet, don’t come here. Otherwise, I definitely recommend this place for studying!

Great place to study and good prices for drinks. Coffee is good(Klatch coffee beans). I usually get their cold brew or iced latte. They have plenty of outlets and seating. The employees are pleasant, although you can tell some of them are not confident with their English. FREE garage parking(and all the K-town people know how amazing this is). The only downside is sometimes there are a lot of church people and they can be a little loud. However, everyone brings headphones when they study so it’s fine. Sometimes the wifi can be slow due to large crowds. Best place to study in Koreatown. I would say so based on the free parking alone, but there are outlets everywhere and the coffee is good and affordable as well!

I always get their agave latte with soy! My friends get the Americano or cold brew which is good too! The baristas are always so friendly and nice. Great place to study! They have lots of tables and it’s quiet. Parking is also free downstairs which is also a plus !

Nice little café on the edge of ktown. Korean owned and operated, but pretty much has a more American menu, no sweet potato etc like tom n toms. Menu and pastries are very sparse and simple so don’t expect a transformative coffee experience. I, like most come to just do work outside of home. They added more to the décor to make the walls less white… it’s an upgrade! Updated: LMAO some guy played the piano and it was awesome

Everything about this place is good except for one of the employees. Super rude!!! I asked him if I could get the key to the bathroom and he gives me this lecture with attitude about his they lost 5 keys already and that I better not lose this key and etc as if I was the one that lost it. all he had to say was«make sure you don’t lose it and bring it back.» His tone of voice and just the way he talks is really rude. to the point I wanted to ask him why he’s so rude and if he knows he’s being rude. I don’t know if the customer that he was chatting with was his friend or the owner of the coffee shop but they talked in front of the cashier for over an hour and I could hear their convo so clearly that I was bothered. I just think it’s not professional for an employee to be chatting away with another person on the customer side of the cashier. Honestly if the convo was positive than I wouldn’t really mind but the convo was very negative and lots of gossiping. The coffee shop itself is kind of hidden. I drive down Wilshire alllllll the time and never knew this place existed. Underground parking entrance is on the other side of the block(one block south of Wilshire). And it doesn’t have the name written or posted at the parking entrance so you just kind of have to figure it out for yourself. But hey unlike the other coffee shops or any shops in ktown for that matter, parking is free! Hooray! Of course free-wifi. Open space and lots of tables and perfect for studying or just catching up with a friend. Ordered their decaf iced vanilla latte and it wasn’t vanilla. Tasted like caramel and it was sweet. Iced Vanilla latte isn’t supposed to be sweet unless I replace milk with soy milk. But thankfully it tasted decent so I didn’t complain. Plus the guy was rude and maybe he had a bad day so I didn’t want to bother. If customer service was good I would’ve gave 4 stars. But yeah 3 stars because free parking, wifi that actually works and isn’t slow like the other ktown coffee shops, and because my latte was decent. But I do plan to go there again and give it another chance, maybe he was just having a bad day. **I edited this review because I received a message from the employee asking to take down my review because he was planning on quitting. However I will not take down the review because a review is a review and I’m honest about my experience. but I did take out more details regarding the convo. The number of stars I’ll keep.

Man, I really hoped to like this café my second time around. As soon as I walked in, I remembered why I told myself I would never come back to this café. There are so many kids– perhaps there’s a school around the area but they sit in large groups and it’s pretty disruptive to people that are there to get work done. Can’t really blame the café for that but it’s just something I would like to avoid at all costs. Second– maybe I’m just very unlucky but the wifi was not working for me. I asked them numerous times to reset it. First response: «I don’t know how to do it» Second response: «Someone else will do it when they come back» Third response: «I already reset it» … Then why isn’t the wifi working, buddy? Eventually I had to restart my laptop and forget the network entirely. After the 40 mins I didn’t have to waste, I was finally connected. Ugh. Oh and the coffees alright, nothing special. I forgot what I ordered. That’s the kind of impression it left. The only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars is because of their parking and student discount. Otherwise, I suggest you go elsewhere

My favorite café on Wilshire in Ktown, right below my workplace! Their coffee is always on point, and the staff are wonderful, they always remember my regular order, even if I call in my order and don’t tell them who I am. My favorite baristas are Josh and Michael, their pleasant manner and genuine service add to the café experience. My regular — large iced mocha with almond milk. Can’t be beat, it’s strong, creamy, not too sweet or bitter, and gets me through my mornings working at the middle school… and that’s saying a lot, these kids are super sharp, energetic, and quick ;) gotta keep up somehow! I recommend their homemade lemon tea, iced or hot. Hits the spot on a cold day or a hot day, and has a flavor you won’t find elsewhere. Their pastries are delicious, too, I love the brownies and chocolate croissant the most. Great study spot or meeting place for a quiet work meeting or private conversation, and there’s a small nook you can reserve in back for 8 – 12 people to comfortably meet and chat.

New favorite study spot :) It’s not the most attractive café, but it’s clean and quiet. Free parking in the structure of the building.(Entrance is on Sunset Pl.) Their iced vanilla latte was okay… It was sooo sweet though. I think I will just stick to their normal iced coffee, which was pretty good. They actually have a good amount of outlets spread out throughout the café. A major plus! My only wish is that they could be open til later hours! All the good ones aren’t T_T

This café has been around about a year or so and I passed by a lot, but I somehow never got to come in. One day, I decided to come in and try. It is located within a mall and there is a parking available in the structure. I have been to this parking lot couple times before and usually there was no attendance. However, this time, there was an attendant, so I was afraid that I might have to pay. However, once I told him that I am going to Space E. Um Café, they let me park for free. The parking lot gets busy sometimes too during lunch and dinner time but there are some street parking available nearby. It has a quite big space and a lot of tables and chairs. The barista was very nice and friendly. I just ordered a regular latte and coffee was decent. I liked the atmosphere where it is clean, nice and able to study/work with some music. There were a lot of people studying or working when I got there already. However, since it is located in K town, the peacefulness can be interrupted by older Korean ajussi and ajummas when they come in groups and talking. It was a bit too loud, so I ended up plugging my earphones to my ears. I guess it could happen any café in K town. I think I will be coming back for more studying/working session with a nice coffee. Foods: 4 stars Atmosphere: 4 stars Service: 4 stars Overall Experience: 4 stars

This place is so adorable and peaceful! They have soft music playing where it’s not too loud that you won’t be able to study/work or to hear yourself or others talking(ahem like other cafes in the area). They have free wifi, free parking and plenty of tables! I sat on the bar stools by the window and I had plenty of space for my book, laptop and latte. Their prices are also less expensive than other cafes nearby. It’s two dollars for a cup of coffee, and about $ 3.50 for a latte. While I was there, the barista came around giving us a free small cup of coffee to sample out the different brews. How sweet! I’ll definitely be back here. Not only is the staff friendly, but the atmosphere of this place is so spacious and inviting.

My first impression of the place is I love it! Its spacious, the coffee is delicious, there’s parking and the staff is friendly. I stumbled upon this place because of Unilocal, the reviews were great so I decided to try it out. If you are driving you are sure to miss it if you aren’t looking so keep your eyes open. The parking lot was free when I cam which was Saturday, yes i said FREE, is located in the back of the building. You would turn on Wilshire Blvd, then again on Sunset Blvd and towards the middle of the street on the left side it says PARKINGFOR3020. The café is located right away after exiting the stairs. The place itself is spacious. It has plenty of seating, the decoration is cute(there a little pot with a succulent on every table), and there are plenty of outlet(YESTHISISTHEWINNER). The tables are wooden, and theres a back area that can be reserved for study groups. I tried the Cold Brew with half and half, no sugar. Usually when I have it like this the coffee can be a bit bitter but not from here(win)! They have discounts for students and first time Unilocalers. Food options are some pastries(looks like they are brought in not made here), and some juices. They have a pretty good selection of coffees and some teas on the menu. I’m definitely coming here again to study. Only downfall that I might see is if the parking is packed and you have to park on the street. The streets around the café offer 2 hr meter parking. And the restrooms are shared with the rest of the building, its not just theres so dont judge them on that. You can live with the restrooms not being the best because of all the café offers.

Loving this café! A really laid-back place where you can get some work(or studying) done or catch up with a friend over a good cup(or in their case, a plastic cup) of latte. I really like how they make their iced caramel latte here! I’m not into strong coffee drinks so I appreciate how theirs is very smooth and a little subtle. I’ve tried their lemon tea(iced) as well but I wouldn’t get that next time. I was expecting something that is both sweet and tangy but what I got was a lemon tea that was sour and a little bitter. I also think it’s not worth $ 4. They have free(and fast!) wifi, free underground parking(just don’t park on spots marked with«Kingsley Place»), lots of wooden chairs and tables, and classical or jazz music playing in the background. The barista/owner is also very very very nice(I can’t stress enough how nice he is!) If you want a more quiet vibe for studying, come here during the day when there are less people. It’s still pretty low-key at night but there are more people there just to meet up and chat. I hope this coffee shop stays around for a long time!

TL;DR — Watch your receipts and prepare for meh coffee. The latte is meh. Its SO sweet and there’s barely any espresso… this is like a korean Starbucks. For $ 4.91 I would rather go to Document.(Or Demitasse where a GOOD latte still costs less) I suppose this newly written board is not as clear as the old. I usually drink lattes with no syrups, but the parenthesis under latte(caramel, agave, vanilla) made it seem like those were the options available, rather than additional(most places would put +.50 for things that, ya know, cost more). Seemed a bit odd, but thats up to your discretion. It might have been an honest mistake, but businesses that nickel and dime customers don’t fly with me. Cost wise, thats fine. You should get what you pay for, but if you’re looking for a study space, then I guess its still a better option that the other Korean cafes in the area. What really gets me is that they only have plastic cups, despite whether you choose to go or dine in. Its a waste that could be eliminated by simply using ceramic mugs for orders that are dine in. -.- Although, one other pro about this place is that THEREARESOMANYELECTRICALOUTLETS! So continues the search for a good café.

The coffee is SO smooth. I’m not a coffee connoisseur or anything but I do visit different coffee shops at least 3Xs a week if that means anything. And the coffee here is so delicious. I just got the Ethiopian hand drip coffee($ 4.50) and it’s not bitter or too acidic or anything. It’s seriously so smooth like butter. The last time I was I got the cold brew iced coffee and it was good too. Though I believe coffee is better hot than cold. I will probably try the regular hot coffee next time. Also, the owner seems to really know coffee. He is very meticulous when making the coffee and the coffee machine looks really $$$$(like the ones you see at Pirch!). The café is really spacious, there is free wifi(wifi code: 2132004624) Don’t forget to check in on Unilocal to get 15% off!

I don’t want anyone to know about this gem. [Insert«My Precioussss” – Gollum reference]. LOTR jokes aside, this café is the perfect blend of a peaceful study environment and a casual hangout place. The ambiance is enhanced by its low noise level, classical background music, friendly service, and the clean yet modern furniture. Customers appear to be comprised mostly of students and the building’s office workers. What takes the cake for this café is its free underground parking, decent drinks/baked goods, the many outlets, Unilocal(15%) or student(10%) discounts, and fast free WIFI. I only wish there were more food options like sandwiches or wraps. The picks: — Iced Caramel Latte/Macchiato $ 3 – 4: milky, caffeinated goodness. A bit too sweet for me, but otherwise worth a taste. — Almond Croissant ~$ 2 – 3: good, nothing crazy. They offer to toast it as well. Of note, the not-so-clean bathrooms are located in the building outside of the café. You must get a key from the cashier. Parking is found on the corner of Wilshire Pl & Sunset Pl. I didn’t need to validate and came on a weekday.
